Scott did some work for me ten or so years ago and all was good. So when I needed help on my 2001 Jeep TJ I checked and was happy to see that he was still around. Went by and chatted, made an appointment and then brought the Jeep in. I wanted to add a sub and TJ owners out there know space is limited and its better to keep things out of sight.I chose a small powered sub based on reviews that it fit under the seat. But it didnt. Next choice was under the flip and fold rear seat. That would would work but Scott was convinced that it would fit in the original center console sub enclosure. Me, not so much. After quickly taking the console apart and measuring, Scott started cutting the face out of the box and, after much trimming and fitting, the new sub was securely mounted.Then wiring and reassembly went smoothly and we were ready for tuning. Amazing the difference it made and out of sight and weather!Not often do you find someone with the combination of experience, patience and ingenuity needed to make projects like this work. All while letting me watch and ask questions. With a reasonable price and outstanding results I couldnt be happier.

Been hearing about this place for years. Needed some work done so I decided to check it out. Im glad I did. The only regret I have is I havent been using Scott all along! Could have saved me a lot of problems and lots of money! This was hands down, the most positive and pleasant, not to mention the most honest experience Ive ever had with any business. With his tight schedule and I was on the rush, Scott put me on his schedule and he must of work through the weekend and got my truck (old box) equipped with a hands-free phone system, a new set of speakers, and a commercial camera on the back!! I have an accessory that was powered via a cigarette lighter plug, but I wanted to have it hard wired. Went to Scott at 2-Bit Car Tunes to see if he could do it. When I went back for my appointment to have the work done, Scott had been thinking about my work and had some great suggestions about how to do it in a way that optimized my use of the device. My job was relatively small, but Scott devoted significant thought and effort to make sure I got what I wanted, but even more given his expertise. You cant go wrong with Scott at 2-Bit Car Tunes!

2-bit did a great job for me on my 2013 passat factory system. Helped me figure out how to best stretch my limited budget. the result included leaving the factory stereo in, adding an amp, sub, and bringing everything together to sound right. doesnt sound that complicated but trying to integrate after market equipment with modern factory systems is no easy job.most installers will try to sell you as much as they can, then stick it all in as quick as possible to get on to the next job. not so here.I highly recommend supporting local business, especially ones that go out of their way to make sure the customer leaves happy.a note on the location - there are a couple of business tucked back in what appears to be a storage unit complex off tomahawk. 2-bit is one of them. I probably would have had a hard time finding it if I hadnt been back there before at a bike shop. dont let the non-traditional storefront deter you...the result is lower overhead and maximum quality for the dollar.

Scott is very knowledgeable. I bought a new truck with an after market stereo system. It had some problems. Amps were kicking on and off and Scott basically diagnosed the problem over the phone. When I arrived he was dead on with diagnosis. Repaired and adjusted everything. Also found I had an after market Viper Alarm System. (I had no clue it was even on this truck) I had no remote. In a few days he had me a remote. Very reasonably priced and went way out of his way to help me out. Even stayed after closing hours to explain my system to me. Highly recommended.

Not only did they professionally install a top-notch stereo, now I can actually talk on the phone without taking my hands off the wheel cause I got blue tooth (I did not even know what that was). Scott at @ 2-Bit car tunes installed 2 way car alarm on my older vehicle 1992, did a great job at reasonable cost. In near future Im looking to hire him to wire up my woofer, amp and speakers. That man knows what he is talking about. Other shops were going to charge me for additional door actuator which is $100 with install so Scott saved me $100, go see him and see how much he could save you and perform bitter quality job.

I walked in there asking for both a car stereo and potentially a subwoofer. Scott explained to me that the Bose stereo in the car would produce more than I thought and recommended holding back on getting the sub. Slightly surprised over his recommendation I instantly gained trust. Later, during the installation Scott went over and beyond in helping me fixing some dents in the interior. Let me start out by saying that I am very particular about having things done right and looking professional. Ive had past experiences with adding aftermarket audio systems and not been at all happy with the way they turned out. So when I first started talking to Scott about a new head unit, I was very apprehensive about how it would turn out. Since my main interest was installing a bluetooth capability, I had a choice of keeping my factory radio and installing bluetooth as an add-on. Scott was very professional and considerate of my point of view and priced out a few options for me.In dealing with Scott, I quickly reached the conclusion that he knows a lot and I gradually built up confidence to replace the factory radio in my Lexus. I can tell you that the results are amazing and I am totally happy with the results. The installation is completely solid and looks like a factory set-up. I stopped in half way through the installation and Scott was using a mini-belt sander to custom tailor a trim piece. This kind of workmanship is invisible in the final product, as it should be, other than the fact that it looks perfect in the end.I highly recommend 2-Bit Car Tunes. I went to 2-bit in Indian Harbor Bch, Fl with a problem with my vehicle not starting every now and then. Scott saw what the problem was. Fixed it that day. Didnt even make me come back. One word. Awesome! He really knows what he is doing / talking about it and he went above and beyond what I asked for. I got a crappy amp and he installed it and made it sound great! He really does have your best interest in mind and the prices are reasonable, he isnt trying to jip you. I am definiately going to go back and have him do more stuff on my car.
