Very cozy diner style restaurant with some of the friendliest staff we met on our vacation. The place was filled but we still received our order within minutes of ordering. I tried the Greek eggs Benedict, and found it to be extremely tasty. The greek sausage is slightly sweet and it compliments the eggs well. The homefries are very slightly spicy, which was perfect in my opinion!
I had their chef salad. It was so good and so big. Im a big guy but even I had a challenge in finishing it. I look forward to the next time Im working in the area so I can get another one
Great spot for breakfast. Right now you are sitting outside under the lage tent in the parking lot. Great food and the service is very good. We got are food very hot and fast. It was a bit windy out today, so our napkins, plates etc kept blowing away. They do have a public bathroom you can go inside and use. Overall great!
Pretty good breakfast. Very nice neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot. I would enjoy their food again if in the area. You wont be disappointed.
The setup outside was great, they thoroughly cleaned everything every time a table was finished. I took my mom here for breakfast this morning, I got the Reeses Peanut Butter cup French toast with a side of bacon and my mom got the regular French toast with bacon & sausage. Everything was fresh and fantastic. The bacon was cooked exactly the way I love it and the pieces of French toast were thick, tasty and delicious. Mom is picky about her coffee and she said it was great. I enjoyed a cranberry Mimosa which was a Perfect suggestion from our waitress. As for our wonderful waitress Angie, she was wonderful, great personality, always smiling, so helpful with her suggestions and really made our time their wonderful. During these crazy Covid times things are stressful, loaded with anxiety and full of fear of the unknown, Angie made it so we werent worried about anything. Best breakfast out we have had in a while. Think Im going to have to coordinate a breakfast with all my girls there soon.Thank you Hammersmith Family.
Absolutely a perfect experience. Emily was awesome and couldnt have done a better job taking care of us. The food was outstanding and I asked for a bunch of extras.I had them make my fiancé and I a mixed vegetable medley and it came back perfect along with everything else we ordered being perfect. The food was so good that we both ate every bite and didnt bring home any leftovers. We probably should have brought home half of what we ordered as the helpings were generous. If you are ever in this neighborhood and would like to enjoy a great breakfast or brunch, I strongly suggest paying Hammersmiths a visit. Genuine Five Stars here.👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Excellent Food, Service and Prices.
A really good breakfast which leads me to believe their lunches and dinners must be good. They cooked our eggs perfectly. My wife is very fussy about her eggs and she was delighted. Not an easy feat I assure you. The service was very friendly and efficient. The prices seem to be at pre-Covid levels. We ate heartily for only 25 dollars. Ill be going back for more.
Really friendly service and put up with our whole group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The food was also really good and portioned for like 2-3 entire meals. You won’t leave hungry no matter what you order.Also, my wife has a dairy allergy and the staff took it super seriously and double checked all the ingredients in the dish she was interested. We will definitely be returning!

I took a client here once since there was a long wait at ihop. And our time is limited. Now this is our go-to for breakfast when I pick them up in the mornings. The staff is so friendly and give some of the best service I have ever had.
Love the breakfast here! Got the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and the sandwich was pretty big and came with home fries for about $9. Everyones also really friendly here. Will be back!

Large portions served quickly!
I was skeptical about sitting outside under a tent- I was wrong. Comfortable, individual picnic tables arranged 6-12 feet apart. The pancakes were luscious! 3 large- perfectly cooked pancakes. I was starving and could only finish 1 1/2. My brother had the veggie egg white omelet that looked and tasted, he said, delicious. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and efficient.
They have the out door dining experience down to a science. No matter where you go for breakfast expect a wait. They had tables spaced out. All staff had mask. No need to handle a menu if you chose they had barcode on the table. Waitress friendly and attentive. The area was nice and clean. The took info for contact tracing God for bid. Finally the breakfast plates where packed with delicious food. Would highly recommend going its worth the wait. Also breakfast cocktails were also served. Had I known I would have skipped my ice coffee. Lol

Not for every one. But I enjoy it immensely. Crowd here is definitely older. Though, I have seen young people there. Menu is good and great salads for vegetarians like myself. Most people preferred hamburgers bursting at the seams. Not for people who dont like background conversations.
Our servers was really friendly and attentive. She was especially good with our one and three year old boys. We were here for breakfast. Our food came out pretty quickly and was very good. Coffee cups were filled continuously.

I have been going to Hammersmith for Many Years, first with my Wife, and after She Passed, by myself !The same Family has Owned this for many years and The Same Friendly Courteous Staff Works here ! They have a Great Menu and there is what I call a talkative Crowd which as far as Im concerned helps make it a more enjoyable meal, I Can Sleep At Home ! I happen to be a Soup and Sandwich kind of Guy but listening to the Orders the Staff writes up there is many thing to enjoy Good Luck, Give them One Chance to make You Happy..........YOU WILL BE BACK !!!!!
The staff and food is great, steak and eggs are amazing, and Ive never gotten a hard or unseasoned home fry, and coffee is always fresh. I go every weekend and plan on continuing.

We decided to take a chance at a small town restaurant and I’m so happy we did....We had an extremely friendly waitress and hearing her talk to almost all the customers like she knew them all was really cool.It made me feel like I was in the old days where everyone knew each other and actually took the time to ask someone how they are doing and truly cared......And the food was so unbelievably good and great portion size for the price....If we are ever in the area again we would definitely go back

Very family friendly local restaurant here in Saugus, good spot to go to for breakfast and lunch, I go every once in awhile on sundays with the family. Servers are very friendly and take your order fast. They bring out the food quickly as well.

Ever since I tried this place out a couple years ago Ive gone back time and time again to a delicious meal. I would always get hash omelettewhich was amazing but not very healthy and so fattening but there omelettes are huge and it comes with fries and toast so prepare to leave full or very satisfied. My most recent visit I believe I got the spinach and feta omelette which was also very good but the best one was the hash by far. So while they do have some vegetarian options I wish they would have more vegan options. But overall this is a good place and Ive had nothing but good experiences. I must say I dont believe the lunches as good as the breakfast but then again Ive only been there for lunch once and Ive been there for breakfast the remainder of times is quite a bit of times. But the staff is always kind and the place is definitely more geared towards older people because thats what makes up the majority of people every time I visit. But hey thats fine with me the food is great and the staff is nice and they have bottomless coffee so this place is highly recommended. Oh yes I also forget that the prices are pretty reasonable and even somewhat cheap.

The food here is very good. My omelette was made the way it is supposed to be made, eggs folded with other ingredients inside. As well, the homefries were nicely cooked. The place is well kept and the staff is friendly. Many years ago someone told me that they used a fifth wheel for a grill, and if that was true it is clearly not the case now.
Food is delicious and well priced. However there was a strange thing that happened to me on 5/5/18After I had paid (credit card) and left more than 25% tip.As I walked to my car the waitress ran behind me as if I did not pay asking me for a ticket/receipt which I had thrown away (they had a copy anyways). Very weird treatment. My advise to the staff is not to follow anyone to their cars. Especially after a good tip was provided. I have never been followed by anyone in a restaurant in my life....Will come back again in a few months
