This is such a great shop . Taso who is the owner is a loyal guy who knows you, and knows your instrument. I shop here because he cares about the people that walk through his door.

I walked in one day after searching online for guitar lessons and spoke with Maria a while. Taso had a student at the time so I waited while chatting with Maria who is very nice about how long I been playing and what I was looking for etc and she suggested that I meet and try a lesson with Taso that very day which I did. He had me play a little to see where I was at and we took it from there. I am just so glad to have a local shop again with people who care and are kind. Not too many around anymore. I recommend you stop by and check it out.

Taso and Maria are awesome. I went in to get an acoustic guitar set up and ended up having a great time chatting and playing different guitars. The shop itself has a great repertoire of guitars as well as some violins and other odds and ends. Highly reccomend this shop.

I have been dealing with Play Music since December, 2015. Taso, the owner, is awesome. I went into the store initially just out of curiosity. Taso was very friendly when I came in, and we talked about guitar stuff.  He seemed very knowledgeable, and so I asked him to do a set-up of my Jackson SLSMG, which has been my main guitar since I bought it new in 2005. The set-up was excellent, as good as any that I have ever had.I then asked Taso about the lessons be offered.  I had been playing the electric guitar since 1976.  I was able to play well enough to play the things that I wanted to play.  However, I had always felt that I was missing something in terms of technique.  So I decided to give Tasos lessons a try.  After 18 months of lessons, my guitar playing skill is vastly better than it was in December, 2015, and I have Taso to thank for that.  He has improved my technique and taught me many things about fretboard theory.  I still have a host of things that I would like for him to teach me, and so I expect to be taking lessons from him for some time.Play Music also has a good selection of guitars, amps and other instruments.  Thus far, I have bought there an amplifier, a solidbody guitar and two effects units.  The prices are very competitive, and the equipment has performed well. Taso also does repairs as well as set-ups, and he has replaced pickups and made adjustments to my guitars. I have been very happy with the work.I have been buying guitar gear since 1976, including guitars by Gibson, Fender, G&L, Martin, Ibanez and Yamaha, and amplifiers by Fender, Marshall, Vox and Peavey, and I believe that I have a good appreciation of what is available.If you want an instrument, or if you need guitar set-ups, adjustments or modifications, or if you want to learn to play the guitar, please do yourself a favor and visit Play Music before you visit any other store.

The owner is a very nice guy, fast service, reasonable prices.I brought two guitars in for setup and minor repairs and they were done the same day.
