Motor Works Auto Repair of Sauk Rapids fixed the transmission on our Chrysler Town and Country. They did excellent work. They had the lowest price of any quote we received. (They also came in at the price they had quoted.) They finished the job before the time frame they had first estimated. And Sarah in their customer service department did a great job answering any questions we had, as well as following up with us to make sure we were happy with their service. We have used this group several different times and we’ve been happy each time. I would definitely recommend them.

I typically go to a small town repair shop as I feel they are more trustworthy and fairly priced. Unfortunately this time around my car wouldn’t have made it there very smoothly so I chose something closer. These guys were very kind and timely. The price seemed fair and ended up being even less than they originally thought! As a female I did not feel uncomfortable here or like they were trying to pull anything.

My son was on his way to Camp Ripley for his army drill and broke down at 630am (3 hours from home). I called and left a message not knowing anything about this place and the receptionist was amazing - calling me back even before they had opened.. She assured me it would all get taken care of and it was. They could have really overcharged but they did not. They put priority on our car and fixed it in less than a day. I cant thank you enough.

Had an issue that tenvoorde couldn’t figure after having my car for three days. It was something simple, but this place got my car in and looked at asap. Lady on the phone was very kind and helpful, which is really nice being a woman myself. I would use them again.

I was job searching and was very interested in this company do to the fact last summer i had a couple of phone conversations on a management position they were looking for. The gentleman i spoke to could not have been a nicer person. From my own investigation into Motor Works informed me that this is a top notch honest place for auto repair and employment

I would like to thank the staff at this location for their great service and identifying a leak with my oil pan gasket. They went as far as calling the dealership for me & asking if it was covered under warranty which it was. As of today the problem has been addressed, the oil pan gasket has been replaced and i am a happy customer. I will return to this location for service in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brought in my wifes car because we were having issues with a stripped screw and they were happy to fix it, no problem. The dealership wanted over $60 for our time, Motor Works got the job done for WAY less. The employees were very professional and knowledgeable. They are more than willing to take on the smallest job and thats what stood out the most for us. We will definitely be back for more business!

I recently moved to the area and needed a new mechanic on a Friday evening while I was stuck on the side of the road. It was just after 5pm and the only place open that I could see was Motor Works. I immediately called to get a quote and I had nothing but great customer service and professionalism from start. Brought my vehicle in on short notice TWICE and was very happy both times. Needed a tire patched which they were able to fix the same day and the 2nd time needed a new tire. Excellent service on both occasions.

Cheapest place for an oil change and tire rotation there fast friendly and reliable! Labor costs are as high as any other place but for minor things there are very reasonable. I found my new mechanic shop for all my repairs!

These guys are great. The office is clean and comfortable, not like a lot of places. They were quick to fit me in and diagnose the problem. They called and consulted me about the needed repairs with the estimate and left the decision up to me. No high pressure sales. They even fixed my hood latch and never said anything about it. I will happily bring my vehicles back here for repairs...hopefully not anytime soon. Lol

I came in and told my issue and they got right to it. If they seen an extra issue they told me about it before they worked on it and how much it would be if added on. I approved. I came an hour away to get services and they were exactly what I wanted. Very reasonable also.

Was able to get my car in really fast and all the staff are very helpful. They have very reasonable prices and they will work hard on your car. Will be going back for all my oil changes and anything else my car needs.

Misdiagnosis. Brought my vehicle in, paid 286 dollars for an inaccurate repair and diagnosis.Told I needed a belt and tensioner, drove the vehicle 75 feet, with same noise, now all of a sudden needs a Catalytic convertor(Which could of been known with a quick code scan p0420 or p0430 in my opinion)In my expertise and background with 3 ASE certifications and a service manager award from both Protractor and YES2.0 this vehicle had multiple issues which shouldve called for multiple rechecks and no recheck was done after vehicle completion.Not a good first experience.I would be happy to chat further about this, and in your diagnostic procedures to see if a remedy can be offered. But the one that was offered is what prompted me to do this review.

Just wanted to tell you that the motor mount repair yesterday is absolute best -- for me driving 40 miles home and back to SR this morning the difference is amazing!! Thanks for the same day service as well as the options you gave on the other mounts. That extra information is very helpful. Your shop is so convenient and it is great to be able to walk to work if I need to drop it off!

In trying to keep it local I decided to check out Motor Works in Sauk Rapids for needed repair to my AC. They initially on the spot investigated, found the problem, offered a solution at a reasonable price and when scheduling for the repair they were able to accommodate my schedule /time frame by pulling a guy from another shop to fix it. The bill was what they quoted which was another plus. Definitely will go back, they all were polite, professional and nice to talk with and my air is working great 👍🏻.

Staff is nice and knowledgeable. They were quick to fit me in and did quality work. I will go back there in the future.

I brought in my minivan for an oil chance and an a/c check. The work completed was great. I dont remember my a/c ever shooting out air as cold as it does now. Additionally, Paul checked in with me Monday morning to see how everything is working.

My car broke down literally right behind the shop at the dollar tree, I headed over to motorworks and Dan greeted me and was very helpful! He even walked with me to go look at my car in the parking lot. We got a tow to the shop and Dan said he’d give me a call when he knew the problem. He gave me a call back about 2 hours later saying my car was fixed!! Dan was very helpful and they have reasonable prices!

I will return again and again! They fixed my air conditioning in my van and gave me a quote. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the cost less than they thought it would be. I was impressed with that because they certainly didnt have to tell me that. Just all around great experience!!

I recently decided to give them a try since theyre local & I try to support local businesses.Made the mistake of getting my oil changed there.I was at work the next day when my wife texted me a photo and asked if knew that I was leaking oil in the garage. Sure enough there was a very large oil stain.I called and the manager told me to bring my vehicle back in.When I showed him the pic his reply was thats not good. No kidding!!!I sat around for almost an hour before they had my vehicle ready again.I was handed my keys and told sorry that happened No offer for compensation at all.Definitely will not go back. They need to work on their customer skills amongst other things.

Do not go here...I got my oil changed here a few weeks ago..Went 30 miles and my engine blew up with oil spraying everywhere! The car had 120k on it... and never had an issue. They also damaged the side wall in my tire. And left a greasy mess all over the inside of the car. And terrible customer service. Very rude people. Money hungry. Explains why its so cheap.

I went in for a simple brake light change. When I opened my trunk a week later, I had noticed that the guy that changed the light was obviously very careless. He tore down the trunk lining without taking the screws out, so now my lining is ripped and I cant put it back up. All he had to do was simply take the screws out. He did not tell me that he had damaged my lining, which I find extremely rude. He also left the cover to the actual brake light half assed sitting on top. These are minor things that I can fix, but if I cant receive a simple light bulb change with out these issues I cant imagine trusting this guy to touch my engine.

First off the guy picks up the phone and says hello as if hes at home with no reference to the business hes representing completely rude and sounding irritated to answer the phone not to mention cutting me off while speaking.
