Recently bought my new truck Volvo VNL64T860 from GATR Truck Center at Sauk Rapids, MN. It was one of my great experience.Its actually my first time of buying a truck, you know I used to think the process of buying a truck is gonna take couple of months and headache with paper-work, but it only took 2 weeks, to get approved and finish up with paper-work. The sales person Jeff Smith he was really professional answered all of my questions regarding truck, guarantees, and so on. He even picked me up from the airport, when I arrived to MN. Also Danielle from the financial department she handle all of my paper-work, answered all of my question regarding finances, payments. I went to GATR for an interview. Id expected the service shop to be like you would imagine a shop to be. I was blown away by how clean and organized it was. The people I had met there are respectful and professional. I have to say that the men and women at GATR are truly best in class. Hats off to them!

They were awesome! Had a rear drive shock break on Friday night and faced loosing my Saturday load pick up. I called and they had the part and squeezed me in first thing Saturday morning and had me in and out fast. They saved me from sitting all weekend. Thank you guys!

Got towed here 2 hours before close on a Friday night they took my truck in to get started found the problem in about half an hour they surprised me and just worked on it until it was done about 45 minutes after close and had me back on my way! Very good experience

Had work on clutch and seals here last year service is good repairs were a one time no returning for same problem overall a great team of people that do what they say and well.

Too much trouble for parts guy to figure out parts store sold. Would rather transfer call then do his job. No wonder got the wrong parts. Avery is very good and nice. Wish I would have got him instead of the weak link.

This is absolutely the best dealership Ive ever dealt with, from the buying of a truck to dealing with the shop they are the best!

I cannot recommend this place at all. They installed the wrong sized rear bearing in our Workhorse motorhome, then refused to refund our money after another shop had to fix their mistake. If I could give them a zero star I would.

This is the friendriest place in the world!!!! The service manager is top notch, the mechanics are super friendly and extremely knowlegable. VOLVO SHOULD BE EXTREMELY PROUD to be represented by this group of people. They are so driver oriented and get the work done fast and accurately!!!! They go above and beyond to provide great service and make their customers happy!!! We have not found any place out there, that even compares to them!!! We will always go to them if possible, they are #1 in our opinion!!!!

I dropped my truck off for a pm on friday. Went to pick it up on tuesday and they didnt touch it. They said it would be ready. If you have work done here make sure you call them and harass them to get the job done.

$140 per hour!!! No respect for your time!They pray on OTR drivers! Avoid!Terrible place. I called about 2 pm asking if they could replace a heater core in my truck.I was looking for someone to do it asap.They said that Ill be pulled in between 2:30 and 3. Never happened.They started working on the truck about 7.Heater core replacement costed me $574.02. Labor only, my part.When I mentioned to the manager that this is a way too much and that it takes about an hour to do he agreed.He said that it is a ripoff but there is nothing he can do. They charge $140 per hour and minimum charge for that is 3 hours plus other fees.AVOID!!!!

We despised that place. Service people were NOT truthful. When one of our staff spoke with few of the different staff about what time the service work started, our company staff have got different service start time. That was just the start. Then, we asked to speak with the manager (evening manager, Daren), that manager finally informed that mostly nothing is wrong with the truck (cuz, they test drove the truck).Anyways, among many things, they seemed super suspicious and NOT straight forward.It appeared to us that GATR Volvo dealership is mainly after money by wasting customer time and money without clear physical documents and with vague explanation.So, there you have it.

Not even half a star. Brought Mine in for a bad motorWent over my options decided on a new d12 for my 01. The estimate. 24000. All said and done 31474.00. Broke my dip stick sent it out anyway. Busted my arm rest passenger side. Didnt put a pin in my clutch pedal assembly. Which happend in front of the paver. Held the whole paving crew up for a hour. Costed me 5600. For delaying . Come find out the motor was a reman not new. And thats not what i bought.No respect for your time. After they had the truck in the shop i was a nuisance calling for updates because everytime they said they would call back they didnt. Not again. Never again.

Went here for a inverter install and I supplied all wire and connectors, charged me for additional negative wire at 50 bucks which was ok.I paid 23 for hole kit of 0 guage with inline fuse.They charged me a additional 52 bucks for environmental fees which is total bs there is no fluids on this job. Ill be talking to top there tomorrow if not resolved Ill file BBB complaint and Rip Off Reports.Tim quoted me 450 to install inverter, 550 is too much.

They charged me 10K to injectors on d13, when other places charge only 3k. After that injectors were going bad every 50k miles, changed twice more time the warranty. People who work there have to brains no hands. Stay away from this place. Alex Istate.

Had transmission replaced on a FL80 truck. It’s been back twice since then and now the throwout bearing came apart and took out the linkage that connects to the clutch. I will never do business there again.
