I found Cottage in the City and these pretty tea light candle holders by searching online. I wanted unusual holders that would look good with both modern and rustic furniture and found these to be original and beautiful. I called Sara to ask about shipping and she was super nice. Im looking forward to an in-person store trip. My holders came very quickly and are being happily appreciated. My boyfriend with great taste loves them too.

If I could only get someone to reply to my email! My console table was supposed to be shipped in August and after three emails, three phonecalls and two voicemails, I was finally able to get the answer that it will be shipped in October. I understand the Covid delays but not having the courtesy to keep your clients in the loop is extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend or purchase anything again!

I live local but haven’t shopped here in a while. The woman working with the red hair was extremely rude and didn’t want to be bothered. I purchased several items turns out the rug I purchased was to small so I went back to return it and she had another horrible attitude saying first they don’t return rugs bc of COVID (no signs anywhere stating that or on the receipt) then she back tracked and said they don’t refund they only give store credit another lie bc the receipt stated otherwise.she did refund me after she just stared at the receipt and nasty said fine I’ll refund you this time? I will never shop here again bc of the way I was treated by her! I have never dealt with anyone like that especially shopping small business . Shame on you for keeping employees that make customers feel so uncomfortable!

I ordered a new one of the adorable oven mitts because I wanted one to use while I wash the other one. Love the first one and second came even faster a be is perfect.

I ordered a coffee table in March 2021 and haven’t received it yet! It’s now July 29, 2021 and I’m still waiting. I was getting worried my purchase had been overlooked - at which time I asked this company when my item was shipping - they said mid July - again it’s almost August and I still don’t have my coffee table!! It’s criminal to have a $400 order take almost 6 months! I will never order from this company again!

I got some salt and pepper shakers and they are absolutely adorable! They match my decor beautifully, and are amazing quality. I’m surprised they were only 10$ for the quality you get. All around happy with my purchase! The only down side is how long it takes to ship and that it’s hard to get a response from the company. Shipping+ delivery took over two weeks so keep that in mind, and trying to email the seller doesn’t get very far, i e-mailed twice with no response. However the products are amazing.

Love this store and the customer service is excellent. Instead of getting automated emails about backorders and such, if something happens they send you a real email and ask you how you want to handle it, while providing options. Just like in the old days of retail. Great store, cool products. I bought a few things but just received the blue and white stamped mugs which a pretty and exactly what I was expecting.

I was very happy with the items, the packaging etc. my only concern was after the initial order acknowledgment, it took a while for me to hear anything about shipping or expected delivery. I did email since there was no contact number, and received a response a couple of days later that the items would be shipped soon. A few days later I received an email with a tracking number and several days later my items arrived. Again, maybe I am spoiled by Amazon Prime shipping and communication. Again, super happy with the items, quality, and packaging.

Found a pair of shelves that I had been looking for at a reasonable price on their website. Every other vendor of these shelves on the internet sells them as a pair. Cottage in the city misleads customers by using a picture of both shelves together but selling them separately and at an extremely marked up price, making the product appear as though it comes as 2 shelves. When only one large shelf came and I reached out to the vendor about it, I was told they do not and will never have the other small shelf in stock. Since one shelf is no good to me, I asked for a return shipping label. They said they don’t provide shipping labels and also I would not get my money back but rather a store credit. Who does that?! Very disappointed and frustrated with this experience.
