Wonderful meal at Off the Block!I love trying octopus at restaurants and this one was okay compared to others. The octopus was very chewy rather than supple and buoyant. The sauce in the charred octopus was excellent though! The potatoes were flavorful and soft. I really loved those potatoes and it’s super filling! We also got the all-American burger which was good as well.
Told Stephen I wanted to teach my daughter how to cook the perfect ribeye or aged sirloin on cast iron. He took the time to not only grab the perfect cut, oil for prep, infused butter, and most important taught me exactly how to cook it. Added the watermelon goat cheese salad and followed his steps.....easily the best steak I’ve ever cooked in my life. Can’t thank you enough 🥩🇺🇸🔥. Here were the steps 🤣
Nice place with great fare and friendly staff, the only reason why not five stars is because they didnt have any dry-aged meats available when we went, even though a third of their prime-cuts steakhouse menu is dry-aged. Also, the dining area has limited space, a table for five can be a little tight as theyll likely place a chair at the end of a four-topper. Their quality is premium so expect to pay that premium. Ill definitely be back to try their dry-aged steaks.
This place is known for its excellent service and expertly aged and prepared steaks. Me and the wife enjoyed a delicious dinner on Friday night and we were not disappointed with either the steak or the friendly yet attentive service. The Tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked to order, medium-well and served with a tasty horseradish sauce. The roasted potatoes and crispy farm pork belly were just as delicious, highly recommended ordering from steakhouse menu, seasonal menu is a great option as well.
The food is always consistently prepared and the chefs take pride in their work. Ive tried everything on the menu, and theres always something for everyone. The counter seats are my favorite spot. Never disappointed, highly recommended.
Absolutely phenomenal. I ordered 3 of the dry aged 16oz ribeye medium rare to pickup for my birthday. The staff are very nice and made the pickup process very quick and easy. Will definitely be coming back
Dry aged steak! Great friendly staff! Highly recommend.
We had take out. The pulled chicken sandwich with fries and the Pastruben with slaw. The slaw was peppery and savory. The sandwiches were packed with meat and flavor. The pickles on the Pastruben were just out of this world. Lot of flavor. Fries are handcut and plentiful. Delicious. Staff very nice. Atmosphere while picking up with food is very peaceful and pleasant.
Such a great place to go on a Friday night. There are always weekend specials prepared by the chef, Stephen, and they are always phenomenal. Tonight, I had the duck breast prepared at 135° with carrot puree and fennel which was heavenly. My husband had the short rib with Thai peanut noodles which were spicy so I didnt try it but he basically cleaned his plate it was so good. Whatever you order, you cant go wrong here...burgers, t-bone steaks, small plates - all are excellent.
Great place, nice aesthetic, good service, and amazing meal with fresh food. The Ranch burger was SO delicious, and the fries were good too. Would love to eat here again!
Came for dinner and expected a subpar meal but got something better than I could ever imagine!! The speciality burger was out of this world. The chef really knows how to blend flavors! I can’t wait to bring my family here.
Great place waitress was very attentive and amazing serviceI had the wings half garlic Buffalo and half pineapple bbqMain course was the smoked octopus with potatoes in tomato / marinara sauce with an egg in topGreat flavors definitely worth a try
The restaurant portion of Off The Block is tiny. Definitely not good for large groups. However it is intimate which was perfect for my wife and I. The food is rediculously good. Everything is delicious. I got the Steak and Frites. The steak was cooked perfectly to order. My wife ordered a steak sandwich which was amazing! Service was attentive and helpful. There is usually a wait. This time we only waited 15 minutes. Definitely will be going back.
Stopped in here for Sunday Brunch. Cannot recommend it enough. Menu is small but everything is delicious. Pancakes are enormous and fluffy. The Piggy Hash (pulled pork, sweet potatoes, eggs, and more) was amazing. Took home some cuts of tenderloin as well, fresh cut and vacuum sealed. Will be back for lunch/dinner.
I went there for my boyfriends birthday because he wanted really expensive and dry aged steak. We loved it :). Nice and charismatic waitress too
Omg!!! Absolutely amazing!!! We had the Brussel sprouts (best I ever had), we had potatas bravas with octopus (absolutely stunning) and their smokehouse burger also amazing!!! Plus a wonderful knowledgeable waiter and the experience was beyond perfect!!!
What can I say?? This place is incredible. The hospitality and food are absolutely incredible. No matter what Ive ever gotten, it has never been a disappointment. FYI, get the Chili Espresso wings, and thank me later.
After looking at the menu for 2 days and arriving too early for dinner based on new hours, I finally sat down at the kitchen bar. I went outside my comfort zone and order the fried oyster tacos. Very...glad...I did. Crispy, a bit of heat on the back end and delicious fresh accompaniments, guacamole, pickled red onions, lime poblano crema. It was a smart decision start. I then looked at the dishes coming out. The hummus of the day was beautifully presented and enough for 4 to indulge while having conversation. I dont drink beer but based on the couple beside me they complimented on the selection of IPAs they had and I guess it was good. After savoring my starter, I decided to have the hamburger special, fresh ground meat with fresh herbs, lemon, melted gouda cheese, and aioli. I cant be more descriptive because I forgot what was in my 2nd great choice for my dinner. Oh my gosh!, when I bit into the burger, it was so fresh, the flavor profile was reminiscent of a fresh lamb burger but heartier. You could really taste the fresh herbs. They werent hidden. The fries will sneak up on you. Crispy and hot. Service, the team was attentive. The guys in the kitchen were turning out eye delicious and what is THAT?! plates. They worked as a team. Ill try and go back tomorrow before I catch my plane home. When Im back on business, this will be a pointed stop. Check out my pics!
Burgers and steak sandwich are excellent.Service was great.
Have been here many times before, food is always delicious, service was great. We went tonight for our Anniversary.
We just had the best steak that we ever had. Tomahawk dry aged ribeye. Amazing chili expresso wings and fantastic service from Jessica. The owner came over and thanked us for our patronage and made sure we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. One word EXCELLENT!!
The food is as aweful!!! Cold over priced McDonald’s serves better food
My husband and I tried this place out for lunch. No wait at lunchtime. We got the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich and the Smokehouse Burger. Both were delicious! The side salad was the perfect pair to my sandwich, since I didnt want fries with my meal. Their dressing of the day was strawberry vinaigrette, which they naturally gave to me on the side. It was a little sweet but it was a nice accent to the salad. The atmosphere is friendly and rustic. Our waitress was Casey (sorry if i spelled it wrong!) and she was so attentive and upbeat. We definitely would check this place out again if were ever in the area!
I had their Ranch Burger. It was SUPERB! My friends had the Smokehouse Burger. One of them said it was the best Burger hes ever had Hands down I went back again on 3-16-21 it was still good. I ordered the 8oz fillet mignon medium/rare and it was JUICY! It was definitely pricey I also got steamed broccoli on the side. The food overall is amazing. Drinks are on the pricier side, 4$ for a 20oz bottle. I can go to 711 and get 2-3 of them with 4$. I had the Kobe Beef burger from Burgerology in Patchogue and that hands down in my opinion is a better burger.
Went on a Sunday at 12 they serve brunch till 2. So the menu was limited. I had a Barcelona omelette it was delicious my husband had the piggy hash also delicious cant wait to go back to dinner
Amazing, fresh food with great service! Its our go to brunch spot for delicious steak and eggs + mimosas. Their fried chicken with jalapeno maple syrup waffles is also to die for. In addition, we also welcome the cozy, covid safer outdoor dining and friendly staff. Not to be missed. Thank me later.
Finally got to head out to eat after all these months. My friend and I headed to Off The Block. Ive been here several times, and have loved each time better than the last. But today was even more fabulous than usual. OTB has a tent for outdoor dining. Somehow they pulled off outdoor seating that was both safely distanced one table to another, yet still felt cozy and immaculate. Our server, Tom, was just the nicest, understated, most awesome person. The food is always phenomenal, and today was no exception. The Brussels sprouts are always a must. I usually order the amazing truffle and goat cheese burger, but today I ordered the BLT. You might ask, whats the big deal? Well, this sandwich was the BIG deal. Peppered bacon, not overwhelmed with lettuce and tomato...and an aioli sauce beyond explanation. Perfect afternoon, and I cant wait to go back. Hope the tent is still up. I liked it a lot.
I went to a small holiday get together this past weekend. The hosts had food catered from Off the Block. Let me tell you it was so delicious that I’m ready to put in a personal order and come from Brooklyn for it.The Short Ribs were out of this world. So soft and juicy and flavorful. Paired well the farro salad. Lots of meat in the tray. Plenty to go around for 6 people. The lemon chicken was cooked well. Nice size pieces of chicken breast and the seasoning and flavor was perfect. The stuffed peppers were really good. It had all meat inside. I didn’t even notice any rice. They gave a plentiful amount of peppers with the catering tray. The sweet & spicy meatballs were good as well. They were in a tasteful unique sauce, not ya typical marinara. We were a small group of 6 people. I had plenty to eat and there’s was some leftovers. The food was so good I’m ready for more before their holiday menu goes away!
Off the Block is such a great place to eat. I take all of my clients there and they love the atmosphere, and hands down the best food. Thank you Off the Block for setting up your restaurant in Sayville!
Super tasty, had the mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and korean fried chicken all were great.
Food was ok, service was good but the prices are asinine. Family of 4, 1 mac and cheese app, 4 burgers 4 drinks. $130 including $20 tip. Are you kidding me? 20oz soda bottles is what they bring you and theyre $4.25 each. So we paid $24 for soda alone due to 2 refills. The burgers were ok but small. Not worth it. Thats a $70 with tip dinner max.
My boyfriend and I went here for takeout. His burger was practically still moo-ing. My wrap had hair in it. The salad dressing was awful. Will not be returning.
Have been getting curbside takeout with them for weeks now. Organized and friendly. Highly recommend. Food is amazing as always, and it feels good to support a local small business. Until we can dine in, this is the Sunday go to. Thanks.
Place is off the block 😉 oh wait charts 🙂 👍 awesome burgers ! Check it out worth every penny
Place is phenomenal ! First time here after being recommended by plenty of people. Fresh awesome concept of kitchen being in front and visible. Had the pleasure of sitting at the counter “always the best way to go in my opinion” our waiter Jessica was friendly and tentative. We ordered wings as a appetizer. Did not disappoint. I had the smoke house burger and it was absolute perfection. Juicy, well dressed and melting cheese to high heaven lol. Half way through my meal I was told the chef “Steve” who is the owner is behind the counter. He is a master at his craft. Every dish went out perfect and him and his crew didn’t miss a beat. He made sure we were happy with our food and our experience beginning to end. The vibe here is fresh, local and hip. Its always great to see a owner interact with his guest and make sure all details are met. I will for-sure be back and will take another seat at the counter !
There is enough at Off the Block thatll make it worth your while. The wings are solid. Particularly the Espresso Buffalo wings. Their burger is OK. Not bad, but its certainly not one of THOSE burgers. Ive tried both The pulled Pork and Buffalo fried chicken sandwich and they both suffered from serious over saucing...drenched!Their Thursday Night Fried Chicken Special is really good. Well worth the try. Ive had their steak and eggs twice for brunch. First time was great, second time it looked like someones leftovers.Pricey, a bit inconsistent and it seems to me they take their best items off the menu. They had a brisket sandwich when they first started, it was great but didnt stay on the menu. They had a fried chicken sandwich that didnt need changing but for some reason they replaced it with the garlic buffalo sandwich.
The Good- Nice place, good ambiance and great servers. The Bad- food. Ordered the overly sweet & syrupy brussel sprouts and bacon app which we barely ate. For main course we ordered the 5 cut burger which was a huge disappointment, not because of the cut of meat, but there was absolutely no seasoning on it. The other item was pulled pork sandwich, which again was overly sweet sauced and just lacked basic seasoning. Will be back to buy meat as the butcher station looks great but not for dinner :(
Ordered the Steak au Poivre, it. was. delicious!I ordered with out the roll, and the great chef asked me if I wanted a salad or something with that, and then asked if I wanted some caramelized onions and mushrooms on it. I said yeah, lets do it, because I trusted his judgement. So delicious! The meal was super filling and the coleslaw the meal came with was a LARGE amount! Im very satisfied. Thank you everyone @ Off The Block! :)
Food was amazing! The Brussel sprouts were so good I ordered another order for tomorrow! The smokehouse burger was delicious! Will definitely go again! Yes
Absolutely amazing food, hands down one of the greatest places to eat on the south shore!! The food was outstanding, it was so good it was probably sent down from the heavens that’s how amazing it was. The two chefs do an awesome job and the staff is super friendly and accommodating!!! Can’t wait to go back, anybody that leaves less than 5 stars for this place doesn’t know good food!!! Keep up the great work:) awesome beer selection too!! And just to be clear I don’t know the owner nor was I asked to leave this review, off the block is really this great!!!
Off the block is off the chain! What a wonderful place. This is our second time visiting and it is just as amazing as it was the first time a week ago. I highly recommend the curry clams as well as the oyster tacos and everything on the menu for that matter. They have a Board of Specials featured every night that will keep you interested enough to return regularly. We have yet to have anything that disappointed. The service is impeccable and we are just absolutely thrilled with the operation they have going on here. They know what the hell theyre doing and I highly recommend you go see for yourself. Cant wait to try them out for brunch!
Every time I dine here, it is always such a memorable and enjoyable experience. The food is always outstanding, and this past Mother’s Day was no exception! My steak was perfection and I’ve never eaten more delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes! Absolutely love Off The Block, and hope that some day there’s an Off The Block II out on the east end of the island :)) Loved our waitress, and I so appreciate how personable and attentive the owner/chef is with his customers.
Had dinner here with a couple of good friends and the meal started out well with drinks and a delicious starter of Brussels sprouts and from there it went down hill. We waited an hour and eleven minutes for our entrees as we watched the three tables come in all around us and be served before our entrees arrived. My chicken burger was so hard I could not cut it with table knife and asked for a steak knife and when I tried to bite into the burger it was as hard a sawdust. I had my husband try it as he has been a CIA graduate chef for forty years and he said it was as dry as a hockey puck. The waitress kept apologizing and now I am waiting another ten minutes for my entree and everyone else was finished. The manager came over and stared at the floor saying she was sorry but we didn’t quite believe her sincerity. After my burger came a young man came out who said he was the owner and he was sorry about the delay Again it seemed like Lip service, he was not genuine and made the excuse they were short in the kitchen. Now everyone has a bad night once in a while in their restaurants but if that situation had come up in one of our restaurants we would have offered dessert or after dinner drinks on the house or even comped the meal as the screw up was in our kitchen. Nothing was offered but the lame excuse of short kitchen help. The ticket was probably misplaced after the appetizer and until we asked where our food was not even fired up except for the over pre cooked chicken burger hockey puck! The food was a actually good when we finally received it but the service and managements handling of the situation was sub standard. We have been in the food business for over forty years and rarely have been treated this poorly in a restaurant. Perhaps the owners should look into their standards of service.
Great to be back for pork belly buns, kimchee short ribs, and of course steak frites!!Parking lot dining is not so bad, LOL !
Im going to give this place three stars because you can have a good experience here. On certain days it may even be five stars but that does not qualify it to receive that when the experiences are inconsistent. They have the ability to make excellent food which I have experienced. Then there are days when you go in, order the New York Strip steak, specialty of the day, and it is loaded with fat (truly excessive) and the meat is cooked well below the temperature you asked for. I tend to like my steaks medium rare but often order medium because Id rather it be a bit overcooked than raw. So I ordered my fatty slab of beef (which at the time I didnt know was going to be the case) medium. I received the gelatinous mass so rare it looked like it barely kissed the grille. Unacceptable from a butcher shop. Youre specialty is meat!On another note, if youve read about their partnership with local farms which brought Acabonac Farms burgers to their menu, forget it. They had them at one time but havent had them for the longest time now.Lastly, know that this is a very intimate venue and if it is packed or if there are people there who are not mindful of the volume of their conversations you may have difficulty communicating at your own table. The acoustics are pretty bad. This place has a lot of potential. Need to get the consistency down though.
Perfectly cooked burger every time (they know what medium-rare means). Counter seats look in on the guys grilling or spots inside the restaurant. Staff have been friendly and attentive. Bathroom is clean! I like all the sandwich options. Have to try to get here for brunch.
This is my favorite place in Sayville so far! Great selection of craft beers. We tend to come on a Thursday which is Fried chicken nightThe fried organic chicken is amazing!! If your a lover of Mac n cheese hey make one of he creamiest flavored skillet Mac n cheeses Ive ever ate.Tonight we switched it up got a burger and chicken burger ... again amazing. A chicken burger then doesnt taste like a piece of paper !!! Seasoned and topped with he finest ingredients !
There were 5 of us. Before we even started, they informed us that they were out of half the menu. I ordered eggs over easy and they were dead and buried and that was after we waited 25 minutes for the eggs. One of our orders was a feta cheese omelet with no feta cheese. Was a 90 degree day with no air conditioning it may have received 4.5 /5 stars but I won’t ever be back
Nothing like picking out your own steak and having it cooked to order. Brussels sprouts were fantastic.Place is a little small but I think it adds to the coziness. I will definitely be back.
Quality of food and presentation here is excellent. The dining room is a little small for the business, I think. You can also sit right where you can see your food being prepared. You can choose your own fresh meats and other items from the butcher case for take out and I think they will also cook what you pick while you dine in. Great beer/burger special. I have had the fried chicken special and it is delicious! Always have had friendly, quick service, considering the freshness of the products they use. Some unique menu items. I have bought a few gift certificates here, as well. Great gift to give to anyone who enjoys dining out or high quality meat :)
Such an awesome Sunday brunch! The cooks were making orders fly off the grill and each and every dish was prepared with love. Ive worked in restaurants before and you could tell that these guys knew what they were doing. Prices were reasonable and the portions were HUGE. We waited a little bit for our food but it was definitely worth it and the servers were extremely nice. We will be coming back here again!
Delicious! I enjoyed the Smokehouse Burger with perfect crispy onions and Gouda cheese. The filet tidbits were delectable and the pork buns were the right mix of savory, sweet and spicy!
Absolutely amazing food, great ambiance, great service. Nice menu, worth every penny. So happy that this place was introduced to me. I’ll be coming back every month for the foreseeable future.
Waited an hour to be seated after being told a 30 minute wait. Unimpressed by a menu filled with sandwiches. Ordered a fried chicken sandwich that was on the verge of burnt probably the reason it took almost 40 minutes to get my food. I enjoyed this restaurant the last time I had been but this time was very disappointing. I will say the staff was very polite and apologetic.
Over priced for meat that is under seasoned.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, there burger and cubano were delicious. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be coming back here again.
Called at 12 to ask if they had chopmeat, and was told to call back in a half an hour. At 12:30 I called again and was told no, they don’t have it yet. So I asked when to call back. This time, same person told me to call back at 1:30. This is ridiculous. She could have just told me that at first call. Lost my business bc I’m not going to call and call and call.
This is my favourite place! Everyone who work there is fabulous. And great selection craft beers.
The food and staff wont soon be forgotten. The small dinning room is well spaced you wont feel elbow to elbow with other guests and our server Lauren gave exceptional service. The food is out of bounds the menu is hit after hit. I will be back for more !!
Absolutely flawless. Our waitress was amazing the food was delicious. Great prices. Definitely my new favorite place :) keep up the great work
The food is absolutely amazing! The kind of amazing where you are really full but keep eating anyway because it’s that good. And the staff is super nice which makes this place even better. My new favorite spot 😬
Service was eh... Food was great though
The food is amazing, the aesthetic is appealing, and their beer selection is small, but solid. They have a wide selection of made-to-cook foods (go in, pick it up and cook it at home) which is an awesome service for families in a rush. I havent been yet, but word on the street is that their brunch is superb also. The only faults I can find are that there isnt many meatless selections and that it is a small venue, but it is an old butcher shop so not so surprising that they dont cater to veggies, and the small space provides a quieter atmosphere. I would recommend calling for reservations, even on a weird day.My only other complaint is that they close early, 8:00, so make sure you go early!**Edit: (1) They dont take reservations, but they do allow you to order drinks while waiting so thats a plus.(2) They extended their hours! Thank you!
This place is great! Food is phenomenal, service is outstanding! Highly recommend!
Randomly stopped here with a friend based on what we heard. Its a cute restaurant /butcher. Theres counter seating as well as a restaurant room for eating. The wine selection was great and the food was scrumptious! Our waitress was delightful and the cooks were fun to watch in action. The mac and cheese appetizer was a winner!! The burger was cooked just right and the chicken pot pie with black truffle was perfect comfort food.
An amazing local spot. All the beef/steak you can ask for and a whole lot more. I honestly havent tried anything on the menu which I did not enjoy. The hardest part is finding seating during dinner hours. Enjoy
Went to Off the Block for brunch and it was great! The breakfast burger, French toast and eggs Benedict were all items that I could recommend. Service was great and the overall experience was top notch.
If you want the best burger in the world this is the place. Everything on the menu and specials is great. Everyone who works there is fabulous. Love this place.
I’ve been wanting to try off the block since the day they opened, but due to traveling back and forth to college I never got the chance to until today. Was finally able to visit with a friend and get Sunday brunch, which after looking at yummy pictures on their Instagram I was very excited to try. We were sat immediately, but waited around 15-20 to be asked what we wanted to drink while another table was seated and was asked about drinks. Our waitress finally came and took our orders, a coffee and a tea and water, and waited a bit for those too. His water never came though, and the coffee was a bit weak. We waited a good while for those drinks and then placed our order which came out quickly. We both got the eggs Benedict and it was very yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were delicious! I glanced around at everyone else’s dishes which also looked great and very well made. I believe that this place has great food and chefs, and I would like to come back, I was just very disappointed in our first impression because of the waitress we had, who also never came and asked if we wanted boxes (another worker did that, and he also got me another cup of coffee which I was waiting on), and It also took a long time to get our check and to have our check picked up. I give a great review on the food and would absolutely recommend this place, only thing I would complain about was the waitress that we had. She was sweet but we just never saw her.
We had a long day traveling the hostess listened to our long story and was very helpful! Conner took our order, was awesome. He was peraoanble and took care of us. Food was the cherry on top. Yum! Thank you all again !!
Cant beat their meat!!!
This place deserve the great reviews. Its a casual no frills place with great food. SoIf you want a satisfying meal do yourself a favor and stop.
What a gem this place is. Really high quality food at great prices. Kitchen staff really knows what theyre doing. I drive out from Huntington, where there are tons and tons of great places, to eat here because its just that good.
Went with a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed their food. Good atmosphere, quaint. my o ly complaint was the price of the steak on the daily special. 40 bucks?!
Great food, excellent service, exciting menu with unique features. I cannot find a thing to complain about.
Felt ripped off! expensive for boarder line quality! got the special strip steak that came with two sides to choose from list. got S&P brussel sprouts and broccoli. a dish of b. sprouts came way before the meal. thought the meal was coming short after, but didnt couldnt figure why the sprouts were sent now getting cold? this dish has thin slices of apple in the sprouts. so we started eating them. meal came and another dish of sprouts came (no apples). then we thought that must have been a dish to start with in lieu of any bread or anything while waiting for your meal. then only to find, $15 was added to our bill! we paid it because we did eat it? but felt ripped off entirely. the floor is cement and anytime someone moves the chairs your teeth raddle! WILL NOT BE RETURNING. UGH!!
We still talk about this place three years later... My now husband and I lived in the area about three years ago and one of our local go-tos was Off The Block! We were in at least once a week and the staff has always been so nice and assistive. The counter top was one of our favorite places to sit and enjoy some fries and a great burger! My husband does not eat red meat but he ALWAYS seemed to find something satisfying on the menu. We loved to share the Brussel Sprouts, theyre so tasty! Also, not only is the restaurant phenomenal, but so is the butchery! We ordered our turkey from here that year and it was delicious!!Whenever were in the area we always do our best to stop in!
Great hospitality DELICIOUS food!
Been coming here regularly since right after they first opened. The food is fantastic, the owner is always visible and ensuring his guests are happy, the butcher case is great as well. Always a treat coming here.
Top notch food and beer. Service was on point. Highly recommend.
Food is great. It can get extremely loud in the small dining area to the point you cant hear your table mates or even think lol. Love for them to do something about the acoustics in that room!
Better than average food, picked out steak and it was cooked perfectly. Pork belly rolls with the apple slices are great.
Phenomenal!! Food was delicious cooked to perfection nice small atmosphere. The owner of this place got it right!
Great place not only for breakfast but for dinner too! Just had my fav breakfast Piggy Hash . For dinner or lunch the Mac and Cheese is hands down the best on Long Island! If you havent tried this place yet you need to put it at the top of your list!
