My wife and I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with both the store and the training program.

Walked in and explained my issue and had the most incredible service from the workers there and the most pleasantly productive experience. Upon having a more in depth conversation I purchased shoes that are perfect for my everyday work demands and they werent pushy (as some places can be) just suggestive and incredibly informational. Highest recommendations for this place. It was wonderful!

I went to Sayville Running Company in search of a pair of XC racing shoes. I was very nervous, but a staff member by the name of Ryan was kind enough to help me find the right shoes for my feet. He was very knowledgeable and excited to talk about the sport. I left with shoes that I am 100% sure will help me with my racing season! I would 100% recommend shopping here if you are in need of shoes, or anything else related to running.

I was in need of new sneakers and definitely waited too long!!! I walked through the door and was immediately approached by the nicest girl who asked what I needed help with. She had me stand on this machine that provides information around your feet to help with the sneaker brand they will recommend. Then she had me walk & run and asked if I had anything specific I’d like to see on my sneaker like the color, design, etc.She came out with 3 different choices and after trying on each sneaker and running/walking in each, I chose a pair and I even wound up buying these awesome headphones that wrap around the back of your head but don’t go inside of your ears so you can still hear your surroundings when you are outside running.I had the best experience and walked out with the best sneakers and headphones for functionality and safety!!!!

Buying shoes has always been a process for me. I have different size feet so nothing ever feels right. As I’m dreading going into another shoe store, I was approached by a lady that asked what I needed today and she assessed my feet and pressure points and could figure out what shoe sole is best for me! I was in and out in 15 mins and walked out with the most comfy shoes and so happy. I’ve never had such an amazing shoe buying experience!!

Towards the end of the Quarantine (around May), I reached out to Mike to see about a virtual fitting. I have very flat feet and require a good support shoe. He showed me options, and I did go to the store and try them on outside. They are really great and are true professionals when it comes to finding a good fit for your needs. Great local running store! I purchased a pair of sneakers with a promotion they ran at the start of the pandemic to encourage people to get out and run. My order was for delivery as I was unable to get to the store and pick them up. To my surprise, a few hours later they were personally delivered by someone from the store! I was expecting the USPS in a few days, not hours later. I cannot recommend SRC enough as a great local running store.

Creaky wooden floors and an old school vibe adds to the very satisfying shopping experience Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.Your greeted at the door, fitted and custom fit for shoes that are 100% taylored to you. Im a new runner and noticed pulling in my shins a few days in. They fit me into a pair of Mizunos and for under $150 I was back into me routine. No issues at all and very happy that I went to a specialty shop for my needs. Since then, my daughter and son were both fitted for shoes and they are thrilled. I own a fish market in town and appreciate service and quality. This store is a prime example of both. If your looking to get In shape and start running... Dont buy shoes without seeing them first, you wont be disappointed

I was fitted for the first time in 2009...and i have gone back since...great store...the people who work there are actual runners. They watch how you walk, stand and move to see which shoe is best...they can get you whatever you need as well...anyone can sell gear and shoes...but not many places can get you products based on your needs...great place.

Theres a good reason the reviews are so high. These are first class professionals; sneaker experts, ZERO sales pressure and prices EXACTLY what youd find at the cheapest online retailer (I checked). Just went last week for the first time. Before the owner touched one sneaker he performed a measurement, used a pressure distribution analysis machine and watched my stride for anomalies. Glad he measured, too. Ive been wearing the same size for years, discovered my foot is now a full size larger (function of age). So thats why my toes have been hurting? Derp.Bottom line: If the price is the same but I get a much higher service level, why would I give my money to a huge online store instead of a local business owner? This guy is gonna get all my shoe business. Glad I found this place.
