Can definitely be a little gruff/to-the-point, but always are timely, efficient, and excellent. Being a teen with my first car, Randy is always super clear about everything I need to know about my vehicle.

Randy & the crew at SMC Auto are honest, trustworthy and perfect gentleman! They diagnosed my car’s issue, thoughtfully explained the problem to me over the phone before performing the work and executed the repairs with masterful skill in a timely fashion. I found their prices to be very reasonable and the customer service to be excellent. We brought my husband’s car here first with no referral, we drive by SMC on Route 1 every day and we knew that a business that’s been running for 30+ years must be top-notch! So glad we took a chance on this place, we finally have a mechanic we are confident in. Thank you Randy & team!

Very, very rude. Called to get an estimate and refused. Told me I could just drop it off and it will be done by the end of day. That made me leery. I wanted to ask a couple of questions before I went there and the man on the phone started talking over me and was extremely rude. Asked him to allow me to ask a question and would not stop talking over me. Asked to speak to someone else and he told me he was the owner!!! I was so disgusted that a business owner would treat potential customers this way and had to hang up because he was still yapping at me. Not worth it!! Cant imagine if I went here and had a problem what I would be dealing with. No way.

I’ve been getting work done by the S.M.C.for years. They are mechanics and mechanics have a hard job. They do great work and sometimes can’t bother with niceties because they are busy and talented technicians (and everyone wants their car fixed yesterday)I grew up in an automotive service station environment and know pros from Joes. These guys are pros. Go to the dealership if you want to be coddled. Go to SMC if you want good and timely service.

Randy and team have been taking care of my Tacoma 4 cylinder for a couple years. I can say that I was working with the dealership beforehand. After getting shanked pretty bad for service by the barons of the Saco auto-mile. I took a chance with SMC and have not looked back. They are attentive to details and can tackle serious work in a timely fashion. All I can say is thanks to the SMC team for their hard work.
