Bull moose is everything I want in a media store. Great selection of books, vinyl, games, and more. Friendly and helpful employees too. Shame theyre only in new england as I could use a bull moose wherever I go.

Good selection sometimes, usually end up having to order stuff. The big drawback is the consistently rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful staff. They used to be pretty decent back a few years ago, but walk in now and its a complete joke. Wont be coming here anymore. Besides, their prices arent even that good anymore. Half the time I can find stuff cheaper at Best Buy up the road or something.

Music, movies, video games and cheap weird trinkets. Its a fun store, but dont go here expecting to find something you want. But you know what, I always say the only thing better than finding something you were looking for, is finding something you werent looking for at a great bargain!

Just got free guy movie saw in theaters and own it already, sweet victory.

I love finding new/used book stores to wander through. I went here specifically to look at the books; however they also have a huge selection of dvds, records, cds and video games. The book genres were nicely labeled and arranged by authors from A-Z. New and used books were intermixed and pre-owned books were labeled by a sticker on the outside of the book making it easy to distinguish between new and used. This location had some 50¢ book bins that I was able to find some good deals in.

This is a great place to buy all sorts of things in the entertainment category. Music, movies, books, anime + ❤️

We had a great time browsing and selecting items. The only low side was the sales associate who cashed us out. Math skills, customer skills, and well paced work speed, NEEDS improvement. Not to mention the highly unprofessional tattoo.

It seems like every Bull Moose store is a little different with what they carry, and this location has a good selection of everything. The store might look small from the outside, but is is actually deceptively big. They have a good selection of new and previously owned movies in DVD, Bluray, and 4k. They also sell used and new music CD and have a large book section as well. They also sell a lot of novelty and decorative items. A lot of the new movies are priced higher than they would be as some stores, but you can find some real gems at low prices as well, so the pricing is really all over the place. Overall, a good store to buy media, as these kind of shops are becoming harder to find.

I love this place. Real nice staff. Great selection of retro music/video. Great used book section. Its a kind of place youd like to just hang out at.

Website said there were vintage video games. 2 NES games in the store and a few Genesis??? Big selection! I did find a very nice used Stephen King book for a great price. Made my visit a little less disappointing.

Though it doesnt have the selection a regular bookstore has I have found some really good deals here. In fact, I make it a point to come here before going to a regular bookstore because of the many times I have found used copies of books at a much lower price!!

Enjoyed waking around the store and browsing. Some of their inventory will take you back in time if you grew up in the 80s.

I go to this bullmoose almost every weekend, They have a huge selection of Cds DVDs and books! They always have really nice employees and have low prices for preowned items. I would definitely recommend this bullmoose if you love music, movies or books.

Today I was blown away by the kindness of multiple staff members! I called beforehand to ask a couple questions and to set up an exchange. When I came in, everyone seemed to be aware of the situation and was very helpful. Later, I called again with more questions and the manager Zack went way way way above and beyond for me. First off, Ill tell you that they dont sell anything moose related. Nor anything bull related. But they have some awesome graphic novels and video games. Staff is always helpful and hip, with it, groovy, the bees knees.

I am going to miss this location. 2 years ago I moved out of the area and closer to a few different locations. The South Portland store was my go to for so many things for myself and others for roughly 20 years.

This is a very decent independent record store that carries thousands of new and used music, movies and books. They carry a lot of stuff on the shelves from the floor to the ceiling. They even have memorabilia and pretty decent grab bags. I love the fact that this store is usually open from 9 AM to 11 PM. Most independent record stores arent open for that many hours. I would love to come back and visit any Bull Mose location throughout New Hampshire and Maine to find some gems to add to my vinyl collection.

The best record store in Maine and i dont mean Bullmoose in general... I mean the Scarborough location. Ive found so many gems here and at fair prices. They are generally cheaper than walmart on games and other media. Friendly staff with a wide selection and great prices. No bull on this moose...........

I have been to this Bull Moose many times and I have to say I am very impressed. The prices are very affordable and the best around this area. I also found the employees to be very kind and helpful. Overall this Bull Moose is just amazing. If you like video games, music, movies, books and or just one of those things then this place is for you. I would recommend this to a friend or family 100%. Its such a great store, the mystery CD bags are my favorite! I have had the awesomeness of getting Big Willie Style, and Britney Spears Baby one more time. I look forward to the surprise every time I go there.

The staff are great, the selection is huge (books and video games included). If they dont have it, theyll find it and get it to you. Youll save a ton selecting some used options. Novelty gifts are an added bonus.

I absolutely love Bullmoose! They always have excellent customer service, great prices, a huge selection of a wide variety of goods, and it always smells fantastic in there. I wish there were more locations but I will make a 2hr trip just for this store! I can pretty much find something for anyone on my list, whether unique or practical, I never leave empty handed. The rewards system is an added bonus!

Why cant the store in Portsmouth, NH look as nice and the staff look as professional as the stores in Maine. This Bullmoose had employees, who were friendly and helpful, in nice looking uniforms.The store has a huge selection of new and used music, games and movies. Record albums available. Lots of books as well. Family movies are located in the book section. Prices reasonable.

Five stars for sure! Every time I walk in the door, Im greeted with a smile. Everyone that works there is crazy helpful and pleasant and the atmosphere is great. I love the selection they carry, too! I never walk in and leave with nothing and I never leave without picking up more than what I walked in for.

Favorite place for movies books and music. Found some great gems here and you can buy movies and trade them back in for store credit, so if youre a frequent shopper it really pays off if you get their reward card for points and half off purchases. Very friendly staff, laid back atmosphere.

My first time at the Scarborough location. I went with my father to sell his vinyl collection. The employees are really nice, especially the employee who has knowledge with vinyl. I wish I could remember his name he was so very helpful!! Im a big fan of Bullmoose. They have all your entertainment needs. I always find the best unusual gifts for people there.

Always a cool place to shop. The staff are like minded and chill and the selection is awesome. Table top games, music, movies, video games, couple of arcade machines by the door too. Rarely leave without buying something and we keep buying fantasy flight table top H.P. Lovecraft games there and spending all our money, lol.

They were all out of the new Spider-Man game but the clerk behind the register let me buy his held copy since he wouldn’t be able to buy it for a few weeks! Super nice and didn’t need to do that at all but it made my day. Thank you!
