Love the variety of hand-selected gifts this locally-owned gift shop offers. They have a great selection of jewelry by local artists and unique gifts from international fair-trade, minority-owned businesses. I recently purchased stylish and colorful bracelets made from recycled electric cables(!!) by women in a remote African village. Great conversation pieces & I feel good knowing my purchase supported these women and their daughters! Whenever I visit Sol-La, I know I can find something for anyone on my list. John (the owner) is always friendly and fun to chat with, too!

Sol-La is a very special gift shop and one of Scarsdale’s best places to buy unique gifts and beautiful jewelry. I’ve known Min Aoki for many years and have found him to be one of the kindest and most patient businessman in the Village of Scarsdale. Min carries an unusual eclectic selection of handmade gifts as well as beautiful Hanukah menorahs, fair trade gift items as well as classy frames, unique cards as well as pottery, candles and other lovely gifts. Min is also a very generous guy who supports community fundraisers and always has time to check in and see how everyone is feeling! Sol-La is a truly great place to shop for wonderful gifts and hopefully you’ll check out Min’s store when you are searching for the perfect gift for friends and family members.

This is one of the few stores in the area that sells one of a kind artist created items. Anything from gorgeous to quirky jewelry and jewelry boxes, candles, purses, platters, pottery, scarves, and more can be found in this small store. So yes, terrific gift ideas (but I can never seem to leave without picking up something for myself)!

This is a truly unique gift shop in the Scarsdale Village Im Garth Road. The owner takes great pride in creating truly distinguished gifts for people to share the world with. This gift shop is a staple of Garth road and has been around for a number of years.It is filled with some of the most fascinating handmade gifts you can possibly find.This is a must store to visit if you have someone who can appreciate a real sophisticated trinkett in their life. The show Room feel is like an antique shop and the variety of goods are very eclectic and well made and tracted. The owner is there everyday to make sure questions are answered properly for every item thats in the store and Im sure there are thousands of items on display. Go buy a loved one or a special friend a truly fascinating gift. By the way, these gifts are all one of a kind.

This store, along with the Dark Horse, have been my parents’ go-to places for cute, offbeat, last-minute gifts for a long time. It has lots of attractive, not-very-useful decorative items, often Asian or otherwise foreign-looking.
