A cousin of my wife passed away a few months ago and his partner gave me a Rolex watch hed owned. Id never owned a Rolex and had little knowledge about how to care for it. I was greeted at the door, taken into the room where the Rolex watches are, and told my story. The owner was literally moved by it and proceeded to take me through how the watch worked and how best to use it. Since it had been sitting in a drawer for an unknown period of time I asked that it be serviced. After a few months (pandemic) I returned and found what for all intents and purposes is a brand new Rolex. I will treasure it, as well as my experience with Wilson & Son. Super professionals.

Very nice staff, cleaned my wedding rings beautifully and pointed out impossible for me to have seen broken prongs that held one of my diamonds. I had no clue some of the prongs were broken and I would have eventually lost the diamond had they not taken a close look at my rings when cleaning them. They showed me so I could see for myself. My ring was repaired and the cost was fair. Cleanings are free.

The entire staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, courteous, personable and attentive. Robin was particularly attuned to my needs and helped guide me to a Temple Saint Clair ring which turned out to exactly complement another piece my wife had. Wilson & Son are a classic old-style, service-focused retail establishment. By definition, jewelry is a luxury purchase and so it is reasonable to expect extra care as part of the experience. Wilson & Son takes it to a whole different level. I bought my wife a special anniversary ring, and within two months, one of the diamonds had fallen out. I was just about to put a claim in on my insurance when I decided to call Matt to ask what I should expect from the insurance company. Like a good friend, his immediate concern was for how my wife was feeling, and he asked us to come over, so that he could look at the ring. When we arrived, the entire staff seemed to be aware of our situation. Matt was promptly summoned to come up front, and he immediately announced that I didnt need to contact my insurer. Wilson & Son was going to replace the stone, at no cost to us. Matt said they felt terrible that they had caused so much angst, and that the problem must have been in the manufacture of the ring. This is only one example where they have acted in a manner that is more consistent with true friendship than with a business relationship. The best thing about it is that I do feel like they are friends, and as a result they will always get the first opportunity to help me with gifting opportunities.
