Recently received my 2nd TV from Value Electronics – previous was an LG OLED 77G7P and most recent is a SONY OLED 83A90J. Both were quality controlled and calibrated at VE. Hard to believe but the Sony is significantly better than 77G7P which at the time was considered the best available. If you are looking for the best and want to talk to some of the most knowledgeable folks around Value Electronic must be your first choice! I am big on “customer service”. I don’t mean that in “the customer is always right”, I mean that in a business being upfront, honest, professional, and doing everything they possibly can to help their customers and provide them with the best product, service, and experience. I got that with dealing with Value Electronics.My Wife wanted to get me a new TV for Fathers Day, rather than going to a big box store or Bestbuy, I chose to try VE as I have heard so much about them over the years. I called and spoke to Wendy, who was super polite and helpful. She explained to me all the options and how the order process would go and the services they offer, along with what to expect with me living several states away. She was very upfront about the time frame on getting me my new TV, which I was fine with. I decided to go ahead and spend the extra money to have the TV quality controlled and calibrated to be safe. After all I was saving money due to no sales tax, and it would equal the amount I would have been charged almost in sales tax here in my state anyway, plus I’ve always wanted to know my TV’s were spot on. Long story short, I had some issues with the shipping company delivering not on the scheduled date. Plus the TV box was banged up and damaged, nothing that was of VE fault, and the TV after powering on once wouldn’t turn back on. It was dead in the water no matter what I tried, and I tried everything. My heart sank, my wife was upset. I emailed VE that evening, and then called them Monday to confirm they got my email letting them know the issues. Robert replied knowing who I was and apologized for the inconvenience and assured me they would take care of me. Boy did they step up BIG and do just that! After sending them all the information about the TV and some pictures, they immediately started the process of getting me a replacement that under went quality control and calibration and within a week or so I had a replacement.Now some who read this may say, well had you of gone to _____ you could have avoided a lot of hassle and just returned it that day and had another etc etc. I will respectfully disagree. I’ve dealt with many businesses and manufacturers over the years during my love for electronics and home theater, and that’s not necessarily true. Could I maybe have gotten a the TV elsewhere quicker, maybe maybe not. Many places are still even now trying to get inventory on many products. Not to mention I wanted peace of mind knowing I didn’t have to worry about panel lottery and I wasn’t looking for instant gratification of getting the TV as fast as I could just to say I had it. I wanted the best possible service, peace of mind, and a calibrated panel when purchasing this new TV and that’s exactly what I got from VE! Trust me, if they can and have the ability, they take care of their customers! Thanks VE, Robert & Wendy for the great service and amazing TV! My family loves it and are looking forward to future movie nights with it!

Value Electronics is possibly the best electronic store when you are shopping for the most advanced digital television or entertainment system. A few years ago when we were shopping for a new digital television and were considering going to one of those big box stores, I walked into Value Electronics on Popham Road in Scarsdale. To my surprise their prices were not only competitive but they offered free installation! I had a wall unit and I assumed the new HD TV would fit but when their guys arrived, they realized I needed a new one, but I wasn’t charged! The owners of Value Electronics are also generous and have donated their services and equipment to the many organizations in our neighborhood. When you are considering buying a new TV, you owe it to yourself to visit their beautiful showroom!

Cant say enough about the great folks at Value Electronics. Had an issue with a product I bought there, and they were quick to assist in a resolution. This is the type of one on one quality service you just dont see anymore!

Robert and Wendy are nice people but disorganized, dont respond to emails and hard to get them to answer my question on the billing. We bought couple of TVs from them plus installation and Wendy cant reconcile the full amount. I email and spoke on the phone but lately they decided to just ignore my request. We want to support local business but with this level of customer service it is hard to trust buying from them again.Update - after this review was posted, Robert did contacted and provided the billing issue.

Despite a couple hiccups with following up on a request, Robert, Wendy and the team at Value Electronics provided excellent service and great value. I will be a repeat customer.

Purchased TV at a good price and delivery was swift and the setup seemingly very good. BUT the TV was not level and needed adjustment. I was told four times that someone would return to fix that, but each and every time either it was canceled (I had to call) or the guy simply never showed. And no one called. We gave up, had it leveled by another person and absolutely never was called by this owner. Just dropped us. I never experienced such an attitude and laziness towards a customer, and we are very nice, patient people .In writing this, I decided that I was not stupid as well.

I was shopping for an OLED TV, came across Value Electronics through LGs website as an authorized dealer. I reached out by phone (they happened to be closed as it was a Sunday) and email. Robert and Wendy got back to me right away with options. The order and invoicing went smoothly. Robert was very communicative and provided detailed instructions on how to arrange delivery. The brand new TV arrived within a few days and Im very happy with it. Happy to find a mom/pop shop that provides top notch product and services at very competitive pricing. This TV is incredible. Setup was a breeze and the picture is stunning. The price reduction made it even less than the local discount Big BOX store Best Buy and PC Richards .Greatest quality TV Ive ever had. Robert and Wendy seem very nice but they, unfortunately, provide terrible customer service. They advertise merchandise as being in stock when everywhere is sold out only to find out that they are out of stock as well. The way I found that out is by calling them, they never call you. They will tell you that they will follow up with you about your issue but never actually do. You have to continually chase them for simple answers and missed deadlines. Eventually just returned my TV purchase with them and instead bought from a chain (I love supporting small businesses normally) because of the terrible customer service and constant run around with Value Electronics.

A fantastic experience, no matter if you live in NY or ship to CA. Robert is a consummate professional with a lot of patience for questions - and super knowledgable. He truly knows and loves A/V, prices are great, and service impeccable. Whenever I can I will give them my business vs the big box stores.

If you are in the market for electronics you must go here. Forget Best Buy and electronic stores these are the people. It’s a mom and pop store and you walk in you are walking into a store of knowledge. Both the owner and his wife are so well informed and I went to the audio show in Manhattan and I was speaking to The Marantz team cause they were showing marantz stuff and I told them they are the best at what they do. They agreed. Go here first best prices. They will always do their best for you. Customers are important to them. Go and you will not be disappointed.

Robert and Wendy are wonderful. They spent hours with us in their showroom and gave us a great deal on an LGSJ 9570. Bennie and his install crew were clean, polite, installed the TV snd showed us how to use the remote. Would highly recommend checking them out before buying at the big box stores.

I visited Value Electronics after learning of it on AVSForums. While it is somewhat on the small side, its got great products on display. And rest assured, the TVs on the wall for comparison purposes are all professionally calibrated. Therefore, it may be one of the few if not the only store in the area that one can make an apples to apples comparison. I cant begin to count how many times Ive gone to a Best Buy or Costco, viewed the TVs and people make a decision on what they see. One TV may be set to vivid, another to cinema, and there is a huge difference in brightness and color. Most people would immediately choose the one set to vivid though it may be inferior to the next. In fact, they probably set them that way due to ignorance, or more likely, stock levels. Make the product we have loads of in our stock room look better, or the one with the higher margin.None of that at Value Electronics.They also have a very well done theater in the rear of the store with a great screen and projector. One look at it and youll want one.Great store. Are their prices higher than some other places? Yes, but you often get what you pay for in knowledge and service.

Hey everyone, I have been following the TV Shootout that Robert sponsors for years and years. So today I decided to call them because I want to buy a new tv. Robert answered the phone, yes THE Robert. He was so patient and knowledgeable, shared with me some great information about the tvs I was interested in. It was like speaking with a good friend.No stress, no pressure. I am embarrassed that I have not contacted them before. I am going to be buying my 65 and 77 tvs from them. They have amazing pricing (I am an experienced online shopper) and even better service! Honestly, you would be crazy to not at least call them first.And just to be clear I did not buy anything today. Poor customer service. Did not answer a simple question I sent them by email for 3 full business days. Cant imagine how theyd respond to more complex customer service issues, assuming theyd respond at all.

Nothing but headaches with this retailer. Went through hell just to get faulty panels replaced and the final replacement had issues too. Shouldve went thru Amazon or local B&M instead.This guys EGO is about as big as the iSF tour calibrators that come to his shootout each year.

The attention to the customer is very good.

After their crew assembled a TV stand with an impact drill they made holes to the finish and never replaced it. It was also delivered damaged and again did not make any preparations to exchange or correct the damage even though it was promised several times.
