These guys did a very nice job with the window tints. Car used to belong to my late father, Ive turned it into my daily driver for now for sentimental value ;D Good, reputable, local shop. Easily accessible, very fair pricing, pretty good turn-around time, very good work, & good quality materials thus far (theyve held up well over the last year). Highly recommended!!!

Went here for the 2nd time. The 1st time was good. 140 dollar detail with engine wash. A normal 50 dollar wash elsewhere is better than there wash this time. They didnt even wash the bed or roof

Original Review: 06/30/2019 - Bought a Groupon and paid them extra $50 on top of the Groupon to basically get the van vacuumed. Horrible service. Got Ripped off! Save yourself over $100.00 and vacuum it yourself.Update: Received a call from Action Auto detailing today (07/01/19 @ 1:33pm) and they told me that they are cancelling my second appointment because I wrote negative review. They wanted me to say nice things about their business and only then they will keep my appointment. I refused change above negative review to a positive review; thus they cancelled my appointment. When i asked for my money back; they said deal with Groupon because Action Auto detailing does not want to talk to me any further.I called them back at 1:38pm today (7/1/19) and asked about refund for the future appointment that they cancelled and they again said change your review first! I told them that instead of asking me how Action Auto detailing can make this right, they are trying to force me to a wrong thing. I refuse to change my review and they hung up the phone.P.S, I was never at your shop; my wife picked up the VAN and she even mentioned all these to your people but she was told that they cant do anything. In my opinion, you guys run a shady business. WTH. Terrible place for any kind of service. I took my car there to get tinted and they left scratches all over the exterior windows. There is actually deep cuts into the glass on the outside. They left me interior with dirty, greasy fingerprint stains. A lot of my trim pieces are wrapped in cloth so it’s difficult to remove. I keep calling them and they never answer the phone. Don’t do it! Beware! They plainly suck.

Brought a Groupon to check Action Auto Detailing out and came away a happy customer. The interior detailing was very meticulous including the carpet. The exterior waxing and buffing made my black Honda Accord Hybrid Touring gleam! Thanks for the service! After reading the reviews, I agree that making an appointment should be easier. I suggest you add an option to make an appointment by email or social media like Facebook or Twitter. Leaving a message on a phone answering machine is so 20 years ago.

Recently had my 3rd detail completed by the team at ACTION DETAILING and Im extremely pleased. I have had a few details with them over the years and Im extremely happy. Personally its important to me to support local family owned businesses and these guys deserve it. Their new location is a awesome upgrade from the last. Super clean and conveniently off Elgin-OHare expressway. The owner Ray is a accommodating and very cool guy. Came out to do a walk over to make sure I was pleased with the work. Im already planning on taking my pick-up in for a deep clean detail soon as well.

We took a vehicle to Action Auto on Wise Rd. for a detail after purchasing a gift voucher for my mom. Her weather tech floor mats were either stolen while at the shop or never placed back into the car. In our efforts to resolve this, we’ve been met with attitude and complete unprofessionalism. The woman who works there hung up on my husband- he was speaking respectfully and calmly. The owner refuses to contact us directly to address the issue. The mats are worth twice what we paid for the detail, but the worth of the stolen items is not my concern at this point. No business who blatantly disregards their customers and their customers’ property in this way should exist. Action Auto Detailing, and the owner, should be ashamed of the way this was (wasn’t) handled. I would absolutely never do business with a company like this again. If you choose to do so, beware.PS. The phone number found for them on Google and posted on their front window doesn’t work consistently. We tried for 2 days to reach someone by phone, and the number rang once and then the calls were disconnected.

Yes, it took a bit before I got a return call before making an appointment but worth the wait. The guys here have an eye for detail and care that the customer is satisfied. Took a Groupon to this place..Car wasnt too dirty inside but outside had lot of bugs, so I believed a full detailing will resolve everything.I drop the car in the morning and pick up in the evening, but surprise the bug marks stay.. the person there says Groupon doesnt cover it..Why should a full detailing not cover it?He says instead walk in to the store and the detailing will cover it.Not good optics was left disappointed though car interiors were spic and span...

I requested they detail one of our service vehicles on the inside front cabin, inside back cabin and outside. They first charged me $50.00 over their quoted price which I questioned and they offered me a discount on the our next vehicle detail which I fortunately refused so they gave me a $50.00 credit on my credit card.They parked our service vehicle in a space in such a way you could only open the drivers door to inspect their work. I returned to our shop and my inspection found this to be the worst detail job Ive ever seen in my life, it appears they simply vacuum the carpet and wipe everything down with a wet rag!There are stains on the inside front cabin, they never wiped down anything in the back cabin and when I opened the doors you can see they clearly never even attempted the wipe down the side wall of any doors.At this point unless they make this right they will never see another one of our vehicles again Im honestly at a loss on why they would even consider this a detail job what they told me took them 8 hours I personally could have completed in 1 hours very poor quality work find someone else even a gas station car wash could have done a better job to say Im disappointed is a under statement.

This place is on point! They did a great job detailing my car. I recently had it painted and theres some orange peel, the owner himself wet sanded the area and no more orange peel! My car out sparkling! This is the place to go because not only they do a great job in detailing, the price is lower than other detail shops!

I got to say thank you to Ray down at action Audio, I recently bought a new car and stopped in to get a blue tooth capable radio with the new law being hands free and my windows tinted as i do all my cars. when i picked my car up i noticed it was looking a lot cleaner on the outside. to my surprise i opened the door to check out my new radio i noticed my car had been fully detailed. I went in to pay for the service i dropped car off for and insisted i only wanted the windows and radio installed i didnt request a detail, Ray then said he did the detail on the house and thanked me for being a customer. Thanks guys ill return before the winter for a remote car starter.

This was the first time I got my car detailed, which I now regret that I didnt get it done every year! These guys did a great job on my black Honda Civic. Considering all the dings and scratches on my 10-year old car, its the best Ive seen it look in a long time! Since I waited at the shop for my car, Ray was able to get my car in sooner and worked fast to get it done so I wasnt waiting for 4+ hours! Thanks! I know a lot of people have been complaining that they dont answer their calls, but I was sitting right there when Ray was checking messages and calling customers back. Theres a reason why they cant pick up your call right away - theyre super busy and have many customers, which should tell you its worth the wait! Ill be returning in the future, and I would recommend checking these guys out!

Happy that I chose this Detailing Center, I brought my car at 9:00 a.m and got back at 11:00 a.m . It looked like I just bought a new in salon: everything was clean and chaining... I drive my dog in the car and were lot of hair and stains on the floor and seats and when they returned I did not recognize... Thanks guys!

I paid $100 (groupon $80 + $20 for van) for interior detailing for my van. Its a terrible experience, I would say. They must have spent less than 30 min on my van. They never shampooed the mats, floor, didnt clean seats, didnt vacuum under the seats. I took it back to them demanding for an explanation. They promised to clean it this time. To my shock, its pretty much the same. The Pepsi splash on the door side leather still there. The dirt under the seat still there. I ended up buying a leather cleaner from a store, did it on my own. Vacuumed under the seats on my own. When I am putting the rubber mats back, another shocker. They never cleaned my rubber mats. I wouldnt recommend these guys at all.

Exceeded my expectations! Amazing detail work on my 2008 C300. It looked brand new when I picked it up. They even fixed my air vent clips. I am coming back for them to repair the leather on the driver seat. Ray was attentive and very professional. Offered great customer service!

I bought a Groupon for this place to check it out. I have several cars and would like to find a good detailing place, but it wont be this one. I have called over 30 times over the last week and a half and have left as many messages. No call back. I wonder if they are closed. Either way, at this point, I am not leaving my car there if you cant get in touch with any one. Thumbs down for sure.

I used them through groupon (which I suspect is a scam to get customers in because I overheard the guy at the desk quote the platinum package that is sold on groupon for the exact same price that I paid through groupon for a walk in customer). They are not flexible or accommodating with their scheduling and approach customer service like their customers are a burden to them.Also, my car has a manual transmission and when they parked it out front next to a busy street it was sitting with the window open, keys in the cupholder, not in gear and with no parking brake on so it could have just rolled into anything.To top that all off they lost the rubber insert to my cupholder and after kicking around the loose trash in their back room for a minute gave me the shoulder shrug.The car was clean, but I would go somewhere else if you want to have your car detailed without worrying about it.

Have been trying to schedule an appointment for about a week, and still havent talked to anyone. I kept getting a voicemail box that wasnt set up, and finally just today I was able to get an answering machine. Please reach out if you are able to make an appointment, I would honestly like to get my car detailed, but kinda hard to do that when you cant get a hold of anyone.

I was really pleased with the detail. Except they did not do the engine. I bought the platinum interior and exterior from Groupon. I thought automacally they would do the engine. When one of the guys asked me how I liked I asked him about the engine. He stated they won’t do the engine unless we mention it to them when making the appointment. I was told i would get a phone call a day before for a reminder and did not get a call. I called 3 times myself just to make sure my appt was set and nothing. I will post photos

I should have taken pics of the interior detail my car went through. The hatchback trunk of the car was untouched, dash looked untouched, the carpet had unvaccumed dirt but was probably washed as there was a horrible chemical wet carpet smell. I had to clean my car afterwards and air it out for days. I vaccumed it myself and cleaned the hatchback. Customer service is horrid. They forgot to take my car keys from me and called around 130pm looking for them. We had to postpone the cleaning to another day as I was not able to drop off the key until later that day. When I went to pick up my car there was no one in sight but a customer before us who said she has been waiting for a while and no one has come. When I wrote a review on groupon I did not get an apology but a dumbing response. Stay away.

Paid 79$ for a groupon interior detail . After dropping off the car I recieved a call that it was going to cost 50 to 100 more dollars because of the fur in the vehicle. I agreed to the 50 extra expecting the vehicle to be spotless. picked up the car at 6 pm while dark and the car seemed cleeaned. the next morning i noticed that the back seats were barely vaccumed. still had fur all over them. under the seats looked untouched. for taking extra money you would expect it to be good. this was not the case. also the lady working the counter was very rude. Woulld not recommend .Definitly not going back.

Would like to take advantage of a Groupon offer....but one major problem - they don;t answer the phone to ask questions or set up appt. Today was the third time I called and was about to leave a message but the VM box was full!!!! Do these people walk the earth? Guess I will go else where. Course they don;t check these remarks and reviews. Missed out detailing the inside and outside of my Volvo.

Unfortunately, I would not return to this place again. They completely forgot about my trunk and the detail work they did was something i could have done within 30 minutes. The car didnt smell good afterwards and i now also have streaks on my leather seats from their conditioning treatment. No one is ever at the front desk to greet you or acknowledge that you are there. Save your money and look elsewhere for a detail package, trust me and you will thank me later. My steering wheel is still as dirty as before the detailing. They completely overlooked that as well. STAY AWAY.

Ive now had 3 cars fully detailed through action auto detail and they delivered excellent results everytime. I would recommend going through action for all ur detail needs.

Brought my Volkswagen in to remove those annoying swirl marks all over the hood that the dealerships and cheap carwashes leave after a wash. Also had deep scratches on the bumper. After it was finished it looked good as new. I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a detail shop. Very friendly employees.

They do an overall good job however TIMING was the iISSUE, I left the car for the WHOLE week and was supposed to pick it up on Friday noon, had a very important meeting at 1pm, when I came over to pick it up at noon it wasnt ready,!!!I didnt make it to meeting and lost the DEAL!!!

First off i dont write a lot of reviews, but i purchased a car detail through another coupon website. Long story short I paid $65 for a interior car detail and I regret even paying that. When I went to pick up the car i noticed that there were some areas that were not even wiped down, yes he did apologize but these were obvious areas that should have been cleaned. Then on my way home i noticed that my rear view mirror wasnt even cleaned. come on really? Now here comes the kicker, the next day my aftermarket radio screen started going out, so i brought it into the place i purchased the radio because it was still under warranty. after about 4 weeks i get a call saying that the radio had water damage and that it was not covered under the warranty. this place is a joke and i would be embarrassed to be the owner of this shop. i would not recommend this place to anyone even if you got a detail for $65
