I had several p-codes that were preventing my car from passing emissions. I took it to Car Doctor Jr. And within 2 days they got all the issues resolved and my car passed emissions with flying colors. Relatively affordable too considering all that was wrong with the car. Would definitely recommend for emissions related issues!

Our family has been going here for years! Highly recommended, wonderful staff thatll always get you a fair deal for the quality work they do:) Great no hassle place to get your plate stickers too. We may have moved but I dont care where were at, Ill have my car towed here every time. This staff goes above and beyond every time, I cant say thank you enough when 90% of my visits were stressful from my car breaking down (it was 19 yrs old) and they kept it going over 220k miles!

Everyone here is very professional and courteous. Came here after having problem with my emission test as well as tire pressure and they were able to fix the problem. When we purchased a used car (you never do know what you are buying)we took it to Car Dr. Jr. to look over we needed the vehicle to be safe & dependable - they called us with the problems, what had to be done and very honest about repairing this vehicle to be safe - so safe that they would let their own child drive it! They were very honest with us about the safety concerns with the car. You cant ask for anything better then that - a mechanic that treats your car like they or a family member will be driving it. The last bonus to having a great mechanic like all the mechanics at Car Dr. Jr. is that they are very reasonably priced! We have a huge relief knowing that our son will be taking this car to school and it will be a safe vehicle for the 3 hour drive to school! If we could give them more then 5 stars we would!!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Jeff for over 16 years. He has always done right by my family. He is more than fair with his fees. Most importantly he has never, ever tried sell work our cars didnt need. In fact, quite the opposite. Having 7 kids and almost as many cars, Jeff has always helped us postpone stuff that wasnt urgent or offered alternatives to save money on a repair (used parts rather than new, etc.). Car Doctor is the best, not only is he the best at emissions fixing, hes a good solid guy....he always has a great attitude and never takes advantage of people. I brought my 2013 Versa there, under the assumption that it was one thing, that was going to cost me 400 (to get my check engine light to go off and pass emmissions). I brought it to the good doctor and he realized it was something else... he fixed it and was able to take it to the emissions center and get my car to pass emissions for under 200. I didnt even have to wait in line, he took it there for me. Thanks so much Car Doctor...you really are a Nice Doctor!

My parents love this place. They say the owners are fair and don’t charge you extra for stuff you don’t need (unusual for a car dealership!) I’m in for my first oil change and everything I heard Bill say in the phone seems to be what’s best for the customer (for example, telling customers they don’t need to spend money immediately on a part but can wait a little while). He helped choose the best option oil for my car and didn’t try to upcharge. The honesty is much appreciated and hard to come by nowadays!Edit: they’re all so nice! They keep apologizing for the long wait (they even had a special part delivered for my car). This wait is nothing compared to other places I’ve been! Where should I start my review? First, Jeff is a highly skilled mechanic that has serviced over 20-25 different vehicles of mine since 1997. My entire family uses his services and we have never had any complaints. I really like that he listens to you as a customer and speaks directly to you. He always diagnoses the issue and then calls to let you know prior to beginning the work.I work on my own vehicles a lot and restore vehicles as a hobby. I dropped off my work (Landscaping) dump truck to have the brakes looked at and a wiper hose replaced. Being a business owner I was about losing a day to the repairs being done. I was told I’d have it by days end. I was looking for a car repair facility closer to my work so it would be more convenient for me to have my cars and truck serviced while I am at work. There are many shops in the industrial park which to choose from so I knew this was not going to be a easy choice, then one day I noticed a 1936 Rolls-Royce parked in front Car Doctor and I said if the owner of a 1936 Rolls-Royce can trust Car Doctor so can I, since then Ive had all my vehicles serviced at Car Doctor over the last 3 years. The work is performed flawlessly, they communicate issues with my vehicles clearly, the prices are very reasonable, and the turnaround time is very quick. I trust Car Doctor so much now that I tell them just fix it and let me know when the vehicle is ready for pick up! I highly recommend Car Doctor.

I’ve been going to Car Doctor since 2017. I had an ‘03 Ford Taurus two years ago, and I trusted them to do all the work necessary on that car from oil changes to struts. They always treated me nicely and gave me the best prices. They never disrespected me or tried to con me on things I don’t need because I’m a female.Now I live in Naperville, and I’ve tried to find a similar mechanic near me. I honestly haven’t found one yet, and I’ve been to four different ones. Even though I live 20-ish miles away, I recently had them work on my car for leaking valve cover gaskets - which is a huge pain because of the size of my engine. This place is awesome. Im usually pretty wary when it comes to car shops but Ive taken my car here twice and will continue to bring it here for a long time. The staff is super friendly and respectful. The last time I took my car there I received a parking violation for my car being in the street. They tried talking it out with the cop but still got issued a ticket. They called me immediately to apologize and promised to pay it. This place is great!

I have trusted Jeff with all my cars for over 15 years. Hes honest, trustworthy and very capable which is all you could want in a car mechanic. I also consider Jeff a friend after all these years.

Jeff is truly the Car Doctor! After taking the time to speak to me on the phone to help me avoid having to tow my work van (03’ Element) into the shop, I wasn’t able to get the car started. So, he sent for Arty’s Towing where they brought my car to the shop. I already had my wife on deck to come pick me up and when the car got to the shop, Jeff had a moment to look at my vehicle. Within 5 mins, he had the car running! To digress a bit, on the phone we were able to come to the conclusion that maybe my battery terminal clamp was loose. He was right! Is he a sevant? So I had some tools in the car and tightened up the clamps, however I still had no power after trying to turn it on. Back to the shop, within 5 minutes and some pointy looking tool, he was able to determine that the car had no ground. He took some screw off, cleaned it and I saw sparks coming from the ground cable he was securing. Voila! The car started! He was able to get me back on the road to handle my service calls. Trustworthy, reliable I start going with Jeff 10 years ago when my honda civic need work. Jeff still work with hes father hes a nice guy and explain what need to be done on the car so when my wife car need work on her car we bring it to Jeff and never have any problems and will always be a loyal customer. He wont charge you an arm and a leg.

Great first experience. Took the time to make sure 1) I had a problem with my alternator - lots of time to the point it finally displayed the symptoms I had seen and 2) did the repair promptly, and at the stated price. No problems and just did a darn good job. Thanks, we will be back.

He takes good care of all my cars. He was recommended to me by a friend years ago. He has backed up all his work. We had an issue with a part he used. The part was warrantied and the labor was free. He has fixed many minor things at no charge. Highly recommend.

Ive been to see Jeff at Car Doctor a few times now. The first time he took care of something for $25 that the dealership wanted to charge me $400 for! The next time, he was kind enough to look at my car and had me go somewhere that would be cheaper than what he would charge me for it. How many people take business away from themselves to help their customers? Not many.Jeff and the guys are gems. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

I have very very bad experience with doctor car junior. They provide one of worst car servicing I ever had. After one week of my car service it started giving me car start problem. Again I visited them and they said starter is damaged. They made more than 1000$ bill for nothing and car again need lot of maintenance. Please dont go here it is worst car servicing place . It is not value for money at all.

My friend john was told at a shop his 2013 Magnum could only be fixed by Chrysler because they have the computers to do it I told him to go see Jeff at the car doctor Jr he dropped his car off Monday morning Tuesday at 12 oclock he was called was told his magnum was ready to roll he picked it up and it was running very very good all the computer problems were fixed he was very very happy and the cost was really cool this place has the computers and technology and people who know what theyre doing I would recommend this place to anyone

Went in for an oil change and an exhaust rattle. My CEL was also on. The guys at Car Doctors fixed my rattle and did my oil change for a VERY fair price. And diagnosed my CEL. I went home and did what they told me to and it fixed the problem right away. I would highly recommend these guys. They actually care about the customer instead of just making a quick buck. Ill trust these guys for any repair I cant (or dont want to) do myself.

Trustworthy, reliable, capable. I started going here when my minivan failed emission testing about 10 years ago. Then Jeff was working at his fathers shop but now he is on his own-hence Jr. He fixed the crossed wires on spark plugs that a major chain shop did to my Firebird, replaced the differential gone bad on my Rav4, and has performed all my small repairs as well. Jeff takes each job seriously. He is upfront about your auto problem and willing to get the job done right. I dont want to go anywhere else!

Ok I waited over year to make my review official. Im impressed with Jeff and his team. Ive never trusted any mechanic shops until I came here. Most mechanic shops Ive been to in past almost seem to guess what problem might be then fix multiple things and now your final bill is out of control. Jeff is honest and only fixes what needs to be fixed at fair price.So far Ive brought them a Toyota Corolla, Acura MDX, & Mercedes E350 and he fixed them all. Couple of cars had check engine light on and didnt pass emissions. Not only did he fix problem but he would drive car back to emissions station and make sure car passes. Also once you pick up car you can also buy license plate renewal stickers on the spot at Car Doctor Jr which is very convenient.
