Wow. Sam who is also the owner of Casa de Monte Christo really did such a fine job with this place. Very elegant and extremely welcoming. While a little pricey it’s worth it. Trust me. Very friendly staff and such a huge range of cigars . It’s a members lounge with a coffee bar and conference room with also an outdoor patio . In addition if you are not a member you can also smoke in the designated area which is a nice touch . So peaceful that you can actually here yourself think. I strongly recommend this place to anyone .

I went here for my first cigar with my sister. Neither of us had ever smoked a cigar before or been to a cigar lounge. We had a blast the guy who greeted us recommended some cigars for beginners, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, we were able to sit in comfy chairs, drink some coffee and enjoy our first cigar experience. We will definitely be going again and trying more cigars. The staff really cares about giving you a great experience.

I travel for a living…and just started back to being in the road a couple months ago. One thing I do is check out cigar lounges around the country. I’ve been from Monterey to DC, and this is by far the BEST. Excellent humidor. Held a 68% humidity with air movement.Incredible selection of cigars. Bartender was very friendly and made the visit all the more enjoyable. You have to stop in!

This is a beautiful facility that offers private rooms, outdoor patio space as well as general indoor seating with wonderful hosts. The cigar offering is enormous and they have a very large walk in humidor. This is definitely a great cigar spot.

Beautiful remodel of the old cigar shop. There is a nice VIP section as well as a private boardroom in the back. Cappuccinos were well made and the service was great. They also have a nice selection of aged cigars in addition to an extensive selection of more moderately priced smokes. (And the knowledgeable staff to help you make the right selection for your tastes.)

Excellent place, service and overall quality of cigars! We are visiting from Florida and they treat all visitors like VIPs, we got access to the VIP lounge and the are was spectacular. The humidors are really nice, great selection of cigars, I personally had Byron Reserva 5 años, one of the best onea I have tried. Highly recommended to visit if you are in the Schaumburg area.

The remodel is great! I really do enjoy the new atmosphere. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. Two points of interest 1) The public area is a bit small, it easily gets over crowded. My guess in the summer this place is going to be more like a private place then public since their inside seating for public is limited to one room. 2) Need to build a vestibule, the air from the doors opening comes right into the public room, so cold air is constantly coming in. Im guessing in the summer it will be hot air. Oh, the venting system is this place is great! So if you are brining a guest that doesnt smoke they arent going to feel smoked out.Edit: Ok, so Ive been here 3 more times. Im upping the rating from 4 to 5 because the staff is SO GOOD. Honestly, they are helpful, attentive, etc even when they are super busy.

2nd time here and I very much enjoy everything about it. I been to a good selection of Cigar Lounges and the one Ive favored the most has always been Biggs. I now put this one up there with Biggs too. Caleb is awesome, great conversation and very knowledgeable. Great people to talk to as well. I was told about Casas De Monte Cristo and am definitely going to check that one out too (that location has BYOB which is a plus as Im used to having a pour with my cigar). If you havent been here and are wondering whether to stop in, you wont be disappointed!

Awesome lounge post remodel and ownership change, amazing shop selection of vintage cigars, and great customer service! Active involvement from the owner leads to a great experience! Very comfortable seating, great location. If youre further south, Casa de Montecristo is very similar and under the same ownership.

The Guys there know their cigars. They asked questions to get to know what kind of cigar I liked and pointed me to a few I havent tried before and liked afterwards. Will go here again.

I went here because I ran out of tobacco for my pipe. They dont have many options if thats what type of tobacco use youre into and the prices are quite high. Dont expect the person behind the counter to know much of anything at this place. Their cigar selection is also not that great. The smoking lounge area is spacious and very cozy feeling. I would recommend this place for the lounge, but not necessarily the tobacco products.

First and foremost, great selection of cigars. The gentleman in the wheelchair is very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. They have some exclusives from big names, which is impressive. However the prices are a bit high and the furniture needs upgrading. Still enjoyed my visit tho

Good place to grab a smoke and relax for a bit. Lounge gets pretty smokey when filled, could use a bit better ventilation. But the couches and chairs are nice and plush, and it is easy to spend an hour or two here enjoying fine smoke. Good selection of standard items as well as higher priced brands. Staff is nice.

Great little shop! Super knowledgeable owner/staff and incredibly helpful. Spouse couldnt find exactly what he wanted, and was redirected to several other great options. I, myself, just grabbed some familiar names and was pleased.

Great place with a very good staff that is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. There is plenty of space available in this lounge with different seating options. The walk in humidor is great and there is plenty of products to choose from. If you have questions the staff here always has an answer.

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Blown away by the amount of high quality and rare cigars available in their humidor. One of the best selections I have seen in Chicagoland cigar stores. The man that owns the place was very helpful and knows his stuff. Its a bit of a drive for me but I will surely come back.

I really would like to give this place a better score but I had a pretty bad experience my first time there.To start with the good points... a good amount of lounge area, multiple rooms with plenty of TVs. They also have a great cigar selection and accessories.I few negative points... The place needs to be ventilated much better. It is by far the worst ventilated cigar lounge I have ever been to. The only thing I noticed was fans on the ceiling.Their prices are a bit high.My main gripe.... Im a bit new to cigar smoking and I asked the person working there if they could point me to a medium body cigar as I hadnt eaten in a couple hours and I do not want anything strong. He recommended a stick, and I asked him the price. When I went up to the register the price ended up being $4 more then he told me. I really wanted to try the stick so I bought it. In the back of my mind I was thinking the stick he gave me was a full body, and I really should have double checked online.I smoked about 3/4 of the stick and became incredibly nauseous I had to leave. On the ride home I asked my friend to check the cigar online... and as I thought, it was a complete full body. I spent $17 on a cigar, couldnt smoke the whole thing and became sick. Not a very good first visit.If I end up going back I will not likely smoke in the lounge as my clothes wreaked beyond belief. I will also not ask for help choosing a cigar and go by what I have learned over the last months and if I need help I will just check online.

Easily missed as everyone is focused on the mall. Huge space and good selection, owners are super helpful finding the right sticks for you. Nice private poker room, another quiet room for meetings and a spots room with plenty of TVs. Definitely a place to go with the guys!

Unfortunately looks like a min spend of $15 is required now.I am a brick and mortar supporter but cant spend that every time I go in...Still smokey. Tim is great and always generous. Harry is knowledgeable and curmudgeon like.Good place overall.

Decent lounge under new ownership so history means little will have to see what the future holds for this. Whats to come should be ok since they own another very nice cigar store.

I am always impressed with the selection and knowledge of employees. Ive been coming to this particular store for about 5 years despite living 2-3 hours away. I still come here to stock up a few times a year because no other place Ive found can compete with the quality and variety.

In town for some training and was looking for a pipe friendly establishment. What I found was so much more, jason was more than helpful in greeting us and helping my inexperienced friends pick out the perfect cigar! I cant recommend the friendly service and great selection more!

Since taking over, Harry has transformed this into one of the best Cigar shops Ive been to. Good prices, great knowledge, and a large selection, combined with tons of space. I regularly drive from an hour away (with several closer cigar shops available) to relax here.

Very comfortable cigar lounge in Chicago.

I called up there and talked to Harry what a great guy. Even though I live down and Bourbonnais, an hour plus away, I had still heard of this shop. Soon I’ll be going up and the staff, primarily Harry will be why. Very knowledgeable, informative and easy to talk to, even though I had never been there.

7-29-19.Ok place. Good size and cool 4 TV set up. Big old chairs that are worn out and need replacing. Not a clean ashtray in the place. Its not a dirty place but not well kept either. Bathroom average. No alcohol, drink selection sucks! it was probably a cool place 10 years ago.Cigar selection below average. Drew Estates ok but over priced, my Father ok, LFD and Oliva ok. Besides that poor selection and choices of what to carry.Place needs a facelift and some energy. Its ok, but I dont think I will return. Just ok is not for me.Also one guy was yelling at one of the workers right in the open. That was strange.

The Cigar Lounge had amazing staff and selection. They walked me around the humidor stick by stick according to my preferences and Ive enjoyed every stick.
