Randy the store manager is a super friends knowledgable guy! Great person to have run the store! His personality is very inviting! The store is clean and super fun to try samples

Nice place for spices lovers.Lot and lots of sauces. BBQ, spicy, zesty, pickles etc.if u r able to tolerate the hottest sauce in the work ‘The End’, then give it a shot (caution, it is very very very spicy).

Not wearing his mask. And refused when I asked politely. asked me to leave the store. I wouldn’t give my business to someone who does not believe in the health of others.

Friendly staff and wonderful product. Staff member Rachel was very knowledgable and happy to suggest and share recommendations for recipes for a variety of spices and sauces. Will definitely return once I need to restock!

Was quickly going to grab a couple bottles of hot sauce to find a be back in 10 minutes sign. Waited for 30 minutes assuming that they were taking their lunch break. No one showed up, huge waste of time. If it says 10 minutes I expect 10 minutes. Employees apparently cant even stay for their entire shift.

Came here the other day and was helped by a gentleman named Randy. Very helpful and informative. Came home with hot sauce, barbecue sauce and some garlic pepper. Will be back again because of the customer service.

Randy was the friendliest and most informative employee ever. He is very courteous, and knowledgeable on all the inventory. He allowed us to sample to our hearts content with suggestions coming in after each feedback. He really made the experience of coming in so much easier and really nailed down what we were looking for. This place has EVERYTHING you need. From wing sauce, to BBQ, bloody mary mix, mustards, hot sauce, pickles and other jarred goodies.. you name it they got it. Flavor profiles in each category are expensive. From the mild side to the extremely hot there is a heat level for all to find comfort in. As for actual flavor? So many varieties in each category including all sorts of different flavor concoctions made up of any combination or selection of peppers, fruits, herbs, spices, even chocolate sweets! Fruity, savory, hot, sweet, whatever you have a taste for they got it. And yes, they do have the insanely hot sauce challenge available. If you ever come in ask for RANDY he will guide you to whatever it is you seek. BONUS POINTS:!!! EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING CAN BE SAMPLED EVEN IF IT IS NOT OUT ON DISPLAY AS A SAMPLE!! THEY KEEP SOME SAMPLES IN FRIDGE TO ENSURE FRESHNESS JUST ASK AND YOU WILL RECIEVE !!!

I love this shop, I look for it every time I go to Woodfield Mall! My girlfriend and I stopped in looking for a hot sauce to pair with the pizza we were going to eat in the food court. The staff was super insightful and shared his opinion! We ended up picking a sauce with a scorpion pepper base and we could not have been happier. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic hot sauce store! Sauces, rubs, and wing dipping sauces available from mild to very hot. You are able to sample a majority of all their sauces, arranged in areas by their spice level (mild, medium, and hot). Also for the real spice lover the extreme hot sauces are located and available at the counter. For hot sauce lovers, this store is a must to visit!

The storekeeper was very informative, friendly, and made the experience even greater than I thought it would be . I will definitely be back in the future for the experience and delicious hot and barbecue sauces. They have a great employee.

Owner is a really nice guy. Very helpful and informative. Contacted me personally after some confusion and was very kind and professional. He pointed me in the direction of some hot sauces based on what Id liked in the past. Times Up is definitely one of my new favorites. Everything Ive tried in there is great and you can tell that the staff knows and cares about the product. If you like hot sauce/marinades/rubs/Bloody Mary mix, then you NEED to check this place out. If it werent so far from me Id be there every weekend.

I had always walked by this place and finally walked in yesterday. I had just ran out of a hot sauce and needed a replacement. The guy working was knowledgeable and passionate about the product. He helped me pick out a jar of (amazing) cayenne pickles and a bottle of their own brand, Chi-Town Hot Sauce. I just finished my eggs this morning that I doused with the stuff and holy cow- incredible. I won’t go anywhere else for hot sauce and seasoning going forward!

Great place to choose hot sauces... lots of variety... tasted The End... very spicy! Definitely recommend it!

I visited Pepper Palace recently and have nothing but good things to say. The man working there led me through a tasting of various sauces and explained each one. I enjoyed pretty much all of the sauces I tried. By the time I left I was sweating profusely as I tend to do while eating spicy foods and the man gave me some paper towels to dry myself off. Great experience, great sauces, I will definitely be back!

I went there today and an older gentleman was working. He was very rude. He asked us what school we went to and when we told him he said so youre the future of this country with an attitude. He also made fun of me when I asked him if he had a application I could fill out. I was ready to finish my collection of hot sauce with the Flash Bang hot sauce and had cash in my pocket. After all the things he said I refused to buy it. My friends who all love hot sauce were going to buy some sauces. The older gentleman lost a lot of money in sales for the store. We will wait and go to another place to buy the sauces we want. He also very rude to my friend who is enlisted in the Marines, its Memorial Day for goodness sakes. My family owns a couple of businesses and if an employee was even a quarter as rudeas him they would have been fired on the spot. DO NOT GO THERE. Its a shame because that was the one store I would always visit when I was in the mall. I liked the employees and the store better when it was in the second floor. Wish I could give zero stars.

Big selection & helpful staff. Try the reaper bbq sauce its great. Their The End sauce is addictive despite its over the top heat.

Really like the products but went around 415 in the afternoon on my way home from work today (a Tuesday) to find the lights were on but the doors locked and no sign saying when it would be open. No one was inside. I dont go often since I dont eat a lot of hot sauce but still a bit disappointing to not be able to get any hot sauce since I dont go to the mall often

This place is great. The owner helped me pick out some great rubs and he was spot on with his recommendations. There was one rub that I thought twice about when I got back to my hotel and the next day he exchanged it no questions asked. As soon as I returned back to St Louis I smoked some ribs using the Honey Rub Dat Butt and it is probably the best rub I have ever used. I will forever make online orders when not in town. The store was fantastic with great customer service when it was on the second floor of Woodfield Mall. I purchased my marinades and sauces and other products from the store and recommended to friends. Then the store location moved in the Mall, now it is dark, dingy with hardly any merchandise available. The service is terrible. I went there two days back asked for the Wine & Pepper Worcestershire sauce the sales person just looked at me, then said he had never heard of it. I looked on the shelves and found one bottle and showed it to him. He kept on arguing that they did not stock this product any more. This was one of the primary purchases I made at Pepper Palace. If they are unable to stock the merchandise the store should close. The Marinades were literally all gone, nothing on the shelves. I went in December and it was the same thing. Very disappointing as I loved the Marinades.

Angelique (hope I spelled her name right) was a huge help. Walked away with some great stuff!

Wow great service, the guy working was awesome! He let me try a bunch of sauces and I bought a few. He even gave me cooking tips. I will definitely be coming back.

I bought the windy city hot sauce for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it! We live in MN and would love to make a trip to get more!

Good sauces, I love the Horseradish Oyster sauce, a little pricey but everything in Woodfield is pricey

I have never written a bad review for any place before but wow first and last time... very rude. My husband was going to buy something I told him to put it back. Never going to spend a penny here.

Made a sauce for Linguini w/Shrimp used 1 cup of Linguini Sisters Arrabbiata sauce & 1/2 cup Bloody Mary mix w/ cooked Shrimp warmed it up & poured over pasta & OMG!!!! TO DIE FOR!!!!! The gentleman I dealt with Oneal..... was extremely kind with awesome ideas!!! Most definitely will go back!!!

Drove here on my lunch to pick something up at 1:30pm, it was closed with no indication why or how long even though it was during business hours. This is on top of the fact that the unit number was wrong on the google listing.

Blonde in the front window is very rude and so was the owner/cashier. Prices are insane and the quality of the spices have an older expired smell. Buyer beware of scam.

Lets just say the employee working there was such an ass that it was comical. I hope the store is doing well and his marriage is working because fella seems seriously unhappy and takes it out on customers.
