Great Curry in a hurry kind of Indian dei! If you crave an Indian fast food this is THE place!

A
Review №2

Good selection of Indian groceries, sweets, miscellaneous foods/good/accessories. We were looking for paan leaves and they sell them 4 in a pack for $0.99, which was a relief after going around 5 places. Place is nice, good covid protocols, wear gloves and minimal people in store too. Thanks for helping us find everything we need!

A
Review №3

Clean and tidy place, they take extra precaution with safety by having all customers wear gloves. For all your desi foods quick stop shop! Great customer service!

A
Review №4

Convenient store for everyday indian grocery, pre prepared foods are very hit or miss

A
Review №5

Super helpful staff and a great variety of quality foods at reasonable pricing. Seems to be the reputation that Trader Joes is known for and this location certainly upholds it.

A
Review №6

Great people, great support. Awesome experience.

A
Review №7

Staff is very rude. They provide powdered gloves 🧤 which makes me very uncomfortable after removal. He pointed it very badly without even hearing the explanation for not wearing them. I just touched one item in store which I purchased not touched anything else. This behavior will surely effect the business.

A
Review №8

Really good place with good prices. The staff is not the most pleasant sometimes but the place is clean tidy.

A
Review №9

The non perishable items were good. Staff was courteous and pricing is decent.I would stay away from fresh produce here. The grocery was already bad when I got it from curbside pick up.Most of the items were not available, that is okay, but no communications on if you want them replaced with something else.

The food wasn’t bad but, staff attitude’s and their so called rules were pathetic. First of all, the prices are different than what’s advertised. It’s the typical Indian business trick of if you pay cash then price is X and if you pay by card then its Y. Charges are same no matter you take to-go or dine-in however, the restaurant decides what they will give if you choose to-go option. Isn’t that weird?I was told that from the lunch combo I will NOT get certain items because I’m taking to-go though I was charged the same price as I would have dined-in. Of course, I asked why and I was told that it takes more staff’s time and more containers. Seriously? Yes, I was told this by a staff who later I understood that she was the boss. Let me ask this if someone dines-in don’t you have to spend time cleaning those stainless steel utensils, don’t you have to spend time serving the customer etc..I appreciate the thought around being environment friendly by minimizing the use of plastic however, I don’t like they deciding what I should or shouldn’t get. You either charge more or have separate to-go menu or remove the to-go option completely rather than not giving something that you have charged your customer for.Don’t come up with policies which ruins customer experience and potentially minimizes the return rate.Thank you.

The reason is we bought goat of 2lb but when we weighed at home it was lesser in weight and when we asked back they did not returned the loss nor replaced product. So people should be additionally cautious when they buy weighed items here. In my experience of this purchase for every 900 gms we lose 100 gms which is not the standard followed in another shop i believe. The loss is significantly and relatively higher for customers. Hope some corrections are made in your policy to minimize this loss for customers so that customers are happy about the money spent.

It was my very first time visiting yesterday, the lady was so nice to me. I have to try their food, I’ve got a lunch pack only for $5! And it was delicious and very authentic Indian foods!!😍 I’ll definitely come back there.

A
Review №13

Its close to my house, hence convenient, otherwise I avoid going to this store because of limited stock, less variety and a lot of times their groceries ate either expired or about to get expired within few months

I called today for curbside pick order. He says don’t ask any questions while i am talking. I obeyed him and just listening.. He told me instructions this way...You will send “Hello” message in whats app and waitNext you will get order formSend your order and don’t post any other messages.I posted hello and waited 10 mins and called him back thinking I saved a wrong number. Thats it.. He was so rude saying i told you to wait.. you guys have no patience.. I am yelling at all customers. You should be happy I am at least talking better. I block the numbers if they message hello 3 times...We are doing a service here. Does he know what does service means ??He bumped up the prices and making lot of money and call it SERVICEI asked him to tell next customer the wait is 2 hrs as people wont realize how much is the wait. He is like I have no reason to do that.. do what I sayPeople have no sense how to talk to the customers and run business. All they know is make money but call it SERVICE.

Get few grocery items here, which are rarely available in other stores.

A

Wish I got to give No Stars.Beware...Last week bought Go Cheese from this store. This has expired way back in March and they are selling this in June. This product is something that is taken by kids and such lethargy is unacceptable. When I called them for informing, they say it is perfectly the buyers duty to check the expiry dates and such things can happen as they deal with many items. This is really an irresponsible answer from a shop we trust and buy things from.

Best part of this is Restaruant is the quality of the food being served and most important thing is that you can feel the homely food Taste.I would surely recommend to try this restaurant.

A

They recently started with lunch on working days. It’s great food for $5. The shareable rice, sambhar and rasam is not super hygienic though.

Placed orders for curbside pickup. Vegetables are very fresh...... great customer service.....

A
Review №21

Btw, yesterday I ordered food from them - it was among the worst I have eaten. Andhra Curry could have been renamed as Salt curry (not kidding, all you could taste was salt). Veg Korma was burnt a bit but okay. Biryani was okay not great. And instead of plain dosa, they substituted with plain uthappam (no onion nothing, just pancake style) which was at least 1 inch thick (not exaggerating at all) so tasted like raw dough

I have been coming to vishnu food’s for almost 20 years. They have changed a lot throughout the years but have always managed to keep their quality in service and food. For those who used to come here for vishnu villas and are sad to see it go away years ago, can now come back to vishnu’s new dine in/carry out center. Bringing back the old taste of Vishnu Villas with excellent kothu partha and mysore bonda (just few of the items I have tried)!
