I have been taking my daughter Abbi G. to this school for years, and this year we tried something different for the summer. Abbi was enrolled at a summer music camp that tested her knowledge of music on the piano. The camp was impressed on Abbis knowledge of chords and dexterity. We owe all of this wonderful knowledge to this school and their very knowledgeable and dedicated teachers (particularly David). This school is a great investment if you’re willing to put the work into learning. And Stephanie the general manager is so nice!

My daughter loves taking guitar lessons here. Her teacher, Carter, is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Also, the GM Stephanie, is wonderful and very helpful!

Both my kids have been drumming it with Zach for more than a year and they are enjoying the learning process here. Zach and the other substitute teachers are attentive and good at keeping the boys interested. The classes are casual but effective. Zach even organized a drum recital last year and it was well received by both the students and parents. The academy also organizes annual recitals which keeps everyone engaged.

My 9-year old son and I both take lessons at Schaumburg Academy of Music. As an adult learner with no musical background I was nervous about how difficult it would be to learn an instrument, but our instructor Nadiya has made the experience easier than I was anticipating. She is very patient with both myself and my son and is very knowledgeable about everything she has taught us to this point.

They have a number of expert and very good teachers !

I came in to get sisters guitar repaired after the strings broke, and they fixed it very quickly for a great price!

Top Notch! Helped me with my purchase and, after I got home and realized I didnt know how to attach it, I took it back to Larry who spent 15 minutes helping me.Do know that this is a new owner. I have lived in this area for years and was mildly aquainted with the old owners. Those comment that I have about being Rude or incompetent most likely refer to them.My experience was perfect!

My daughter has been taking violin lessons for 5 years at Schaumburg Music Academy. We wouldnt go anywhere else. The teacher is wonderful and patient with my daughter. I live 30 minutes away still wouldnt go anywhere else. They are very flexible and accommodating with scheduling. They have an annual recital which we all enjoy. I highly recommend Schaumburg Music Academy.

I highly recommend Schaumburg Music Academy. My daughter has been taking trumpet lessons since June 2016 and loves it. Her teacher, Sam Barsi, is positive, energetic and obviously loves teaching. Marlena, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful. The store is clean and comfortable. I see kids coming-and-going while I wait for my daughter and they all look happy to be there. After looking at all nearby options, Im really glad we chose Schaumburg Music Academy!

I started here with my second child 6 years ago with Gary for voice and guitar. He encouraged my daughters skill and suggested guitar. Six years later after different teachers and locations, we have come back with all 3 of our children. Marlena and Elizabeth and the wonderful instructional staff make music educational and inspiring. My daughter has been learning the violin for 7 years at Schaumburg Music Academy! She loves it and her instructor. Elizabeth at the front desk is amazing and always helpful.

The manager is completely incompetent. I came at 3pm on a Friday to just purchase strings. The worker said the manager will be in in 5 minutes. After I waited she called saying that she actually wont be in for another 3 hours as and doesnt allow her workers to accept money. Trust issues, poor customer service and good business dont go together.

Extremely rude. Called with a question about their service and was rushed off the phone as I was clearly a nuicanse with my simple questionWont hear from me or my extensive circle of musicians again

My daughter started almost 3 years ago and she love it. She never said she doesnt wanna go to piano lessons..!!! ;-)

Satisfactory teachings. i would recommend

Their management is horrible. The owner just keep taking new students when they are not capable to manage everything. Its hard to communicate with the owner for scheduling. She just couldnt handle everything by herself and if you bring your concern, the owner always complains that she has more than 300 students and she is the only one works there! That is her problem and if she needs help she needs to hire more people!!And they have a worst substitute who is not prepare for the lesson.My childs teacher is great and my son likes him very much but its just the owner who does not know how to operate the place.
