Theres a reason M & S Cycle has been in business since 1977: Steve Ritzko is an expert mechanic whos well respected in the classic motorcycle world. He doesnt bother advertising himself because he doesnt need to- he has a loyal customer base and gets plenty of business through word of mouth. If youre in the upstate NY area and need work done on your classic British, Japanese, or European bike, M&S Cycle is the place to go.

If you ride anything that says Made in England on it, theres only one place within 100 miles of Albany that will give your cycle the care it deserves, and thats M&S Cycle. Steve Ritzko is the British Bike Guru of northeastern New York. Steve can diagnose your bike in a flash, and knows just what it needs to get back to its best. Half the time, hell tell you whats wrong on the phone, as soon as you tell him your year and model. Steve stocks a huge selection of parts and knows all the distributors to get you what you need. Hes one of the best mechanics around for European and Japanese bikes, too, and hes been doing this a long time, so hes seen about everything. Sometimes he might seem a little gruff, but if you bring coffee, youll get on his good side. You will leave knowing more about your bike than you ever imagined, and you and your bike will be happier than ever too.

I would give it zero stars, but thats not an option. Took my 82 Honda to Steve for a couple of problems my bike was having. Early March showed up with bike and he said he wouldnt be able to touch it for another 3-4 weeks, no problem I just wanted to ride a little this summer. He replaced one part and then told me he didnt have any time to repair!!!! What the hell?!?!? You are a bike shop, and I was a paying customer. Claimed he was to busy with other bikes and to come back when it slows down. All this after a total of 8 weeks. Literally told me that I was put on the back burner for no good reason at all. HE IS A LAZY PARTS CHANGER AND NOTHING MORE!!!! and hes just kinda rude. And after all that he actually wanted me to come back to him, tried to convince me to come back in a couple of weeks. NEVER AGAIN!

Found M&S a few years ago!! Have had my Royal Enfield, Harley Davidsons and BMWs all serviced here at M&S Cycle. The knowledge and expertise, especially on British bikes, no one else comes close! The open atmosphere for fellow enthusiats of bikes is great. This is not your megastore of salesmen and service center, it is your hard working mom and pop business that takes pride in their work and service. Others have mentioned wait times, well, small shop for great service and repair, yes you may wait a bit longer than the megastores but me personally, Ill take a little longer turn around for top quality service and repair!!Thank you M&S cyle!!Garrett
