When you absolutely have to have 4, 1/4-28 1” pistol grip screws at 3:30PM on a Saturday, I don’t think there is another shop in town that could have helped. Lowe’s and Home Depot were of zero use. Range day would have been ruined if it wasn’t for Will. Thanks brother!This store has the largest selection of A R 15 parts I’ve found anywhere in San Antonio.

Bullit Proof Arms is the best gun shop Ive been in from Austin to San Antonio. I have purchased a variety of items from here. This place has everything from traditional to custom built firearms, silencers including a silencer shop kiosk on site, class 3 firearms, gunsmithing services, and more.  I have always found them to be priced fairly and the staff extremely knowledgeable.  I cant say enough good things about the owner Will, he has gone the extra mile on a couple items for me.  I really appreciate the fact that he is always available at the store. This is a veteran owned business, and the pictures on the wall show that Will served our country with distinction.  At the time of this review it is the height of Covid and political unrest.  The demand for firearms and accessories has absolutely out paced supply.  I have found a variety of firearms, ammo, and parts at Bullit Proof Arms that were unavailable elsewhere.  If your like me you have read several reviews about this store, and like any other business, they were not all positive.  I cant help but speculate that those negative reviewers might be judging someone by their worst assumptions and themselves by their best intentions...  Ive conducted myself honorably in all my business dealings here and have been treated with respect in return.  If your looking for a unique gun shop that you can feel good about sending your family and friends, then look no further than Bullit Proof Arms.** Lastly, and at the risk of sounding political... For all the new gun owners welcome aboard!  I would like to congratulate you for taking your personal safety seriously and exercising your rights as an American.  If you made the decision to purchase a firearm in response to the nonsense going on in our nation currently, you just figured out why the 2nd amendment is so vital and the most important reason to vote period.  I hope you have considered getting some quality training and your Texas License To Carry.  An LTC and training are additional services that are offered at Bullit Proof Arms as well.

Will is very knowledgable and has an awesome selection to choose from. I would and will purchase another firearm from him. He is the only one in the store and he does get busy so you have to be patient if you are waiting on anything however I would recommend him to anyone.

My husband special ordered a riffle on December 8 and as of last week Feb 10 he still hasn’t received his riffle. He was given 3 different dates of when it would arrive and every time the date past he never received a call updating him on his riffle. He called the owner many times and never got a call back. The staff was very friendly and was trying to be helpful but there was only so much they could do without the owner. He finally asked for his money back.

The gentleman very informative but not accurate i order my firearm the 2 of this month was told it will arrive in 2 weeks now its been almost a whole month and havent recieved any phone call or update. My other friend purchase his by 410 and callaghan by there and got his a week later. Do your research!!!!!!

This place is freaking awesome. Will and his guys are friendly and knowledgeable. The selection they have is great too. From entry level to high end. They have it. I love this place. I havent shopped anywhere else since they opened.

I gave it 1 star because there was no 0 star. I paid for a suppressor and after getting the run around I made a few calls and the Silencer Shop had no record after 1 year. I got the run around for another 3 months never getting the refund until I called Discover. They refunded my money the next day and charged it back to Bullit Proof Arms. I would never use this store again - Im not the only one. Read the horror stories below. But if you must do business with them, use a credit card.

These guys are awesome! I brought in my Shield and had them install tritium sights and a trigger/spring kit. The price was very fair, and they were done and called me in about 45 minutes! The gun shoots and operates flawlessly, 250 rounds later. Excellent, professional service!

Dont even want to give a 1 star because they dont deserve it.So I used to go to Will for a few years when I lived in San Antonio and spent over 30k in his shop. At first things were great. I then moved to Houston and everything went south. Ordered a Daniel Defense and after a year never heard anything and kept getting the run around. Messages unanswered and always another excuse. Demanded my money back and got in store credit.Also ordered a suppressor back in January 2017. Yes 2017 and still cant get a straight answer. TAX Stamp and everything else is good. But cant get ahold of anyone in the shop and when I do, its another case of run arounds.Unfortunately my lawyer is getting involved now. Not sure what happened but I would not spend a dime at this store. Customer service is terrible. Communication is terrible & I am still awaiting my suppressor from 3 years ago. Nothing.Strongly do not recommend this store. Run away as fast as you can.

Went to bullit proof arms to sell a world war 2 m1 carbine on consignment as my mom had told me to go there to see the owner, Will. Only 15% consignment fee which is nice and Will was friendly. The gun sold a couple months later but here’s where it gets bad. They never called me to tell me the gun had sold, I found through someone I know who bought the gun and had to call the store. After that I was just given the run around. I asked to get my check on a Friday, and Will said he would call me when it’s ready. Of course he never called, so I gave him till Tuesday and he never called so I called them. There was no answer on two different days because they changed their hours but failed to post it anywhere which lead to me having to drive to the store two separate times with no one being there. I finally got a hold of him on a Wednesday and he said sorry for the miscommunication, I told him I needed the check but he said he wouldn’t be in the store today so it would have to wait. I tried again the next day on a Thursday and he was out in the morning and had to come in later that day. I finally got the check and thought everything was finally okay. I deposited the check and got the money. Just kidding!!! Got an email back a few days later, saying the CHECK BOUNCED, because of insufficient funds. So I went back to the bank to try again and there was still insufficient funds again.So I’ve made about 5 trips between the store and the bank when it should’ve been, and plus countless phone calls. All a waste of time and gas and more importantly, all it did was cause me stress and I didn’t even get my money! Either Will is just a shady person who puts on a nice guy front or he is just really bad at business. It’s a shame because this place could be so great. I urge to please not do business with the place, avoid it like the plague, it’s not worth the trouble!!! Unless you’re just straight up buying something from there then don’t even try it! Extremely disappointed and frustrated.

Excellent service and pricing! They helped me in recommending a much better scope (than from my research) for my AR-15 I purchased from them. They are very knowledgeable and the prices are much better than any other gun store I have visited in San Antonio. Highly Recommend!

Do not do business here! I ordered a suppressor from them a year ago and was told it would take 60 days to arrive. After a few months I started calling and asking for the status of the order. Each time they assured me that they would check up on it but they never called back. After one year of waiting/calling I finally went into the store only to find out that they had the suppressor but had set it aside under the wrong name. I was able to get refunded but the staff clearly does not pay attention to detail and cannot be trusted to communicate important information. Also if you leave a message with them it is pretty much guaranteed they will not call you back. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere like Lonestar

Go anywhere else. Ordered a gun, 10 days they said. It took them 7 Weeks to get it to me. When Id call about it theyd say itll be in by the end of the week. Lies. Then for my trouble I was supposed to get a free holster. Lol which of course was not in stock and theyd have to order it. Did they ever call me to give me that free holster? You guessed it, NO. Terrible customer service. Its a shame too since were all veterans. I expected better.

Friendly, knowledgeable, no hype or flashy sales techniques. Just straight forward business. Tons of new and used high end firearms. Comfortable atmosphere. Ill definitely shop here again.

Always give me the runaround when I followed up on my order. I was excited about my order but it got to the point where I don’t even want the rifle anymore. Don’t even waste your time there. Someone else wants your business and deserves it more than thus guys.

They robbed me, paid 4300 for the John Wick Combat Master almost a Year ago and they dont even respond my phone calls. Used Gun Broker, and they just guarantee 50dls. Watch out!!!!

Friendly, awesome guys who are very knowledgeable. There prices are very fair, far better than Durys. They dont have a HUGE selection just because the store is quite small, but they carry done top notch firearms

I found bullet proof looking for bulk ammo. They were great with prices and over the phone so i decided to go into the store. I was greated by Angel who was very friendly and helpful. While I was there I found they were able to order sights I have been wanting for some time for both my and my wifes pistols. During talk of upgrades I am so learned they could do further additions which I am looking forward to. I have now found my new gun shop. Will the owner took time to go over several different custom builds for some other projects I am looking into. I would recommend this shop.

Apparently they don’t need repeat business. Class III Transfer was $75 but they failed to mention the other charges before I purchased my suppressor despite them knowing I’d be filing through their kiosk and confirming it would be $75 total. Months later once my stamp was approved I called them to see if it was delivered yet and they responded with “did we call you?” They were clearly bothered that I called and didn’t just wait blindly for them to call me. Finally, when the stamp came in the man working there could not have cared less that I was there. I’ll be doing my transfers through a dealer who actually cares about my business and can manage the basic task of being friendly to a customer.

I came in with several Knights Armament Rifles and a couple of AKs that required immediate attention. The owner Will was more than gracious and willing to help me even though I hadnt set up a formal appointment. Five stars for excellent service and affordable prices. They even have some of my suppressors that are currently in ATF jail. Go to talk to Will with confidence!! They WILL get the job done!

This review is hard for me to write since it’s a Veteran owned company and I am a Veteran myself. Turned in my Glock 19 Gen 5 to get a facelift on September 14, 2018. Was told it was going to take 6 to 8 weeks at a cost of over $1,000 after tax. I was then given the constant runaround after that time was up. The owner Will, would not return my calls. When I finally did talk to him in February, he was very apologetic. He told me that I would have my pistol in hand in two weeks. The reason for the delay...was because the company that did the milling wasn’t able to work on Gen 5’s. The two weeks came and went Will again wasn’t returning my calls. Finally, 2 March I received my Glock 19 back, only problem no back plate or custom magazine that I paid for. I will NEVER do business here again. Another part of this story includes Bullitproof selling my friend and I each Mossberg 590 shotguns. Only problem...they had one in stock. They gave my friend the runaround on when they would have it in stock. They offered him a completely different shotgun when they couldn’t get the 590 in stock. When he demanded his money back they were reluctant. Do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I had nothing but issues with them. From the beginning to the end of my Suppressor purchase. I bought 2 suppressors in Oct, I had to follow up for 2 months to find out their credit card was being declined as SilShop, they didnt know I had to tell them. Transaction goes through ATF cashes my check, waiting period starts. Fast forward 10 months Oct of 2018 and I go in to check status. They have no updates and say they have not received my suppressors. I call SilShop they tell me they shipped my suppressors to Bullit Proof back in Jan and tell me to call ATF. I call ATF and they tell me my Form 4s were approved back in July. So I go back to Bullit Proof and they spend 30 mins digging around and finally find them. They never called me for 3.5 months. They would have never called me. Also, I was supposed to get an addition muzzle device and a 5.56 end cap. None of that was with my suppressors. Will was supposed to call me, I went back in 3 times to inquire and he was never there and never returned either message. Its been 3 weeks. I finally bought them myself. I will never do business with them again. Terrible from the beginning to the end. Communication was horrible. There are much better places to purchase suppressors.

The weapon I bought here took 2 weeks longer than what I was promised to get to the store. I mentioned this to the owner and instead of getting free amunition or atleast an apology what I get in return is a gunshop owner with hurt feelings telling me im being rude...really??

I have been going to this store ever since I moved to the area a year ago. They are one of 2 places that have my business in the San Antonio area.As soon as I stepped foot in the store, I was very impressed with the layout, organization and cleanliness of the store. I have always been greeted with a smile and all of the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Any of them seem to be able to answer any question you may have.The selection in the store is always rotating, and there are a lot of customs at a very reasonable price. They have a vendor to do Cerakote work that does a fantastic job and can do just about anything.I took the LTC/CHL course with Will, who is the owner of the store and was very happy with the class. Will offers a comfortable atmosphere and he is very knowledgeable and experienced. He does a very good job at keeping all of the information from becoming repetive or boring by offering some real thought provoking questions. I am very happy with he course.All in all, you are going to get the professional, friendly service you are looking for with very fair pricing. If they do not have what you are looking for, they can get it quickly. They go above and beyond and I could not ask for anything more.

The guys in the shop were knowledgeable, friendly, and down to Earth. Very nice setup, shopwise, and theyll get you what you need as long as the background system isnt down, haha!

Have ordered a firearm over a month ago and still have not received my product nor have I heard from them on the status of it. Yes the prices are better than most places but the customer service and lack of communication is just sad. Will not be purchasing from these gentleman in the future

Foumd this store online while looking for some relatively hard to find ammunition. Website said that if it was on the site it was in stock. Called twice and left a voicemail because i got no answer. Took a chance and drove down from north New Braunfels only to see that their in stock supply (appearantly Internet available) is very different from their in store supply. Not a long drive but annoying that no one was available to talk to. Could have saved me a trip. Store looks clean and organized and has a decent selection of firearms and supressors but Im not sure if Ill try again.
