Great experience from beginning to end. I needed the clutch and flywheel replaced on my E39, and since I dont have a lift DIY was not really practical. Called around to a few different places and was either ignored or flat out told they werent accepting new customers. Called Ultimate Auto Works and Drew gave me a fair estimate for the job. Dropped my car off Monday morning and had it back Tuesday afternoon. Clutch and shifting are smooth as butter now. Extremely happy that my car is back in action.

Charged an arm and a leg, disconnected a rear indicator light and told me the bulb was broken and needed to be fixed. I checked and plugged it back in, it wasn’t. Then bragged about how honest they were. Absolute nonsense. For the amount I paid, I would’ve expected better. Much better and more honest mechanics out there.

Ive taken my car here twice so far for some pretty serious repairs and they havent disappointed thus far! Their mechanics are qualified to work on BMWs and their prices are significantly cheaper than the dealership. Overall I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

You will never deal with a better business. I wish all businesses, especially in the auto care segment, were operated like Cindy and Gregs. Not only are they professional and diligent with their work, they are kind and compassionate as well. You can trust they will never try to oversell you on a repair. In a world where honesty and trustworthiness is hard to find, you dont need to look any further than Ultimate Auto Works to help you keep your car up and running and in tip top shape. I wont take my BMW anywhere else.

Ive been a customer of Ultimate Auto Works for over 10 years. I would never take my vehicles any where else. They do excellent work, and are honest about what needs to be done. Greg, the owner, will always tell you if theres an less expensive solution. Theyve been keeping my 1989 Pathfinder, with over 200,000 miles, running perfectly! Yes, they work on non-BMW cars, too.I highly recommend Ultimate Auto Works for all of your cars!

Brought my car in so they could look for a simple boost leak at first things seemed great when I first talked with Greg but after they had my car for an hour they called me back and quoted me on replacing my valve cover that had a crack in it. That is fine but it seems they totally forgot to look for a boost leak... I then asked if Greg could walk me through what they found on the car and instead they sent some other random from the back this guy proceeded to tell me that my boost look was for sure from my cracked valve cover which is totally false the valve cover never sees direct boost pressure he also said that all my bolt on mods were nothing but problem causers and I should probably revert my car back to stock I reluctantly went along with this because at this point I understand this place was going to be of no help. I paid them for the hour of them staring at my engine bay and got out of there. I have taken my car elsewhere and have had the boost leak addressed without replacing the valve cover. The reason this frustrates me is because they wanted somewhere around 1500 dollars to replace a valve cover without even seeing if my car was still properly holding boost pressures. Why would I want to put in 1500 dollars of work into my car when I was having symptoms of potential turbo failure. They should of just told me they simply needed more time to find the leak or told me they don’t want to work on my car. Instead they tried to pull a fast one. It makes me wonder what they would of said to me when my car would still be having boost issues after they replaced the valve cover? Don’t take your car here especially if you don’t have time to actually look into the work they are quoting you. I’ve had better experiences at a jiffy lube and would also be 120 dollars richer if I hadn’t had brought my car here to be taken advantage of. I hope others have better luck.Update fixed the boost leak myself a clamp on the inter cooler piping had simply slipped off. Definitely confirms my suspicion that not even a simple routine look ever was done.

Did not fix what they said they fixed. Not good communication. I want my money back.Thank you for your response. I did not state you fixed the other issues with the vehicle I simply said the one thing that you fixed was not fixed.

Quick turnaround, good pricing, very friendly and no-nonsense. Another huge plus is that, on top of other repairs completed, they quietly fixed my malfunctioning TPM for nothing vs. the $1k quoted by the dealer. Thank you! Ill be back!

Owned a lot of BMWs, been to a lot of shops. Twice they suggested repairs I dont think they even verified, because I did and one was easy to see, the other I saw no signs (oil leak) where they said itd be.Customer service was good, they are knowledgeable, but they dont have your best interests in mind.Took the car to another mechanic, repairs were verified, pricing was much lower and when a larger repair came up, the mechanic told me to sell the car because it was no longer going to be worth the money. There was a lot of stuff wrong with this car, complete lemon.Anyway, decent shop, but Ill always question them going forward so I have to go elsewhere. I dont think they were lying or trying to cheat me, I just think they dont want to spend a lot of time diagnosing.

I have owned or leased seven BMWs in the last 20 years, both in New England and in my second home of Scottsdale Arizona. I’ve worked with dealerships, privately owned tuning shops, and independent Dinan engineer/technicians. Greg and his team at Ultimate have been our go-to shop for the past four years, but never have I experienced the kind of support and service that we did this past month. After hitting a peeled truck tire on the 101, my insurance company “totaled” my heavily modified 2000 Dinan-supercharged 540i in mint condition. Before they ever even notified me of this, their tow-team called Greg at the shop twice to say that the tow truck was on its way to claim my vehicle as salvage. Greg was like a pitbull-German shepherd guarding my infant child. He said there was “no way in hell” they were coming for that car, that there was no way it was totaled, and that its parts alone are worth over $15,000, regardless of what the bluebook value said it was. Even my insurance agent was impressed by Greg’s tenacity, his access to non-OEM parts where they didn’t matter, and his willingness to garage the vehicle in one of his working bays for over a month while I argued with my insurance company from 2400 miles away. The repairs that Greg and his team did to the car made it better than it was before the accident, and the work—like everything else they do—was flawless and sheer perfection. The car turns heads everywhere it’s driven, and purrs like a supercharged kitten at 20 years of age, lovingly restored and maintained by the stellar team and pit crew at Ultimate Auto Works. I can’t recommend Greg, Cindy and the rest of the guys highly enough.

Greg knows BMWs . . . Sure, you might find a place that will do the work for less . . . But youll pay for it in the long run . . . and isnt the long run what you are wanting to get out of your personal vehicle?
