I didn’t feel at all safe at this store. Absolutely no one was wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. There are plenty of other stores where management doesn’t find it too much of a bother to ask people to wear mask to protect the health of other customers.

This business recently sold me a piece that was delivered to our home. Soon after, it was noticed that the facing of the furniture was patched up and concealed from previous damage. I politely asked the owner to take the piece back and either to apply the fill refund to another suitable piece of my choosing or simply refund me. This business had an ethical responsibility to disclose any damage or repairs to me before selling a defective item. The owner refused to take the piece back but stated that she would refund me $300 and told me I could do whatever I wanted to do with it. I was planning to simply donate it to the cause of a local pet rescue for resale so that the funds would go to animal rescues After agreeing to a refund of $300 for a piece. that was purchased for $1000, the owner of the company then went back on her word and was forcing me to buy another piece that was not acceptable. Not professional at all.Not a kind of business that I would return to or do business with.

I LOVE this place. My friend Deborah who was familiar with AV brought me here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I worked with Katie the first day. Saw an awesome painting on my first visit. Just had to have it! Called DeeDee on the phone and she handled the purchase for me. This place is two hours from my house but I will be sure to visit when in town.

Coming from California and visiting Avery Lane was a wonderful, delightful surprise. This doesnt compare to any of the home consignment stores that Ive ever visited. The assortment is vast from accessories, furniture, and stunning art. Everything is in excellent, like-new condition and priced so fairly! Its like buying new but at a fraction of the cost! The styles range from exquisite antiques to more contemporary. Did I mention their beautiful rugs? Also, I like going there for decorating ideas as they always put an eclectic mix of things together that just works! The owner, Darlene, is super fun and you get a sense that many of the customers are regulars in both consigning and purchasing. I cant say enough wonderful things about this gem of a store in the heart of Scottsdale!

Tons of inventory, friendly staff, great designers. It feels more like a high-end furniture store than a consignment shop because of the expert way everything is professionally staged but the prices are definitely consignment prices! Best of both worlds. I plan on making Avery Lane my first stop for my home and office decor needs in the future.

To begin we visited Avery Lane looking for several things. Being in the store for more then twenty minutes not one person said anything to us. The older lady kept glaring at us as if we did not have money to buy anything. As we kept looking around she was giving us a very mean unwelcome look. I asked one of the workers he said that is Darlene she is the owner i said she looks upset he laughed and said “ she usually is”.You would think as an owner you would try to set a good standard not at Avery Lane. I do have to side with the reviews this place is so far overpriced they are clearly taking advantage of people who have no idea of what things are worth. So if you’re looking to get no service dirty looks, sized up, taken advantage off then this is the place to go. I will share my experiences with everyone i can because it should be known . I would think instead of a cheesy response they would take care of the issues. I would guess Darlene would f that is her true name will continue her poor service. Avery Lane is a spectacular showroom of fabulous finds curated by owner Darlene. This store is my favorite Scottsdale spot for discovering truly unique pieces that you cant find anywhere else. A delightful combination of antiques, consignment pieces, original art, new pieces, and accessories, its fun to spend afternoons checking out the stores ever changing inventory.

The absolute best selection of stylish, unique home accents and furniture in pristine condition at great prices! Very high quality, couture, one of a kind finds. We have purchased a gorgeous Roche Bobois couch, a very distinctive coffee table, and a one of a kind silver book case. There is a fabulous nook filled with Asian treasures––I even purchased a lovely fresh water pearl necklace and luxurious silk throw pillow. The staff is so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile regarding customer service. My fiance and I just love to stop by to visit, explore the vast inventory and chat with Darlene. She is such a gracious sophisticated consignment expert whose design savvy and customer service is unequaled. Avery Lane receives the highest rating when it comes to a shopping experience that is not to be equaled.

One word: WOW. Avery Lane has furniture you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else––especially under one roof. The showroom is massive. I spent over an hour on my first trip. It’s an eclectic mix of consignment and new furniture, so what you see is wildly different from visit to visit, which I love. Places like Living Spaces and Crate & Barrel have showrooms that always seem to look the same, which is so boring. This also means that if you see something you like at Avery Lane, you best jump on it pronto. A friend of mine had her eye on a beautiful Design Within Reach sofa and it was sold before she could make up her mind. Darlene, the owner, warmly introduced herself to me and Barb (I think her name is) assisted me with a pair of gorgeous Chinese chairs I was interested in. This isn’t American Furniture Warehouse or Ikea, everything is highly curated and designer/antique quality and the prices reflect that. However, considering what the stuff cost new, you’re getting a great deal. Highly recommend.

The store itself it in a class by itself- they are so selective with the items they choose and you feel as though you are shopping at an upscale unique furniture store with quality pieces. I consigned with Avery Lane after looking at several consignment businesses.This is not your typical consignment store. The display, the space, the quality of the consignments are excellent. The owner and staff were most helpful and worked with me through timing issues due to COVID closures and even my forgetting deadlines. Also if I brought in an item that the owner felt would not come close to my asking price, she was honest with me and said so. I appreciated that. While you may have to stay on top of deadlines and contact them, they will attract buyers for quality pieces you wish to sell.

Love visiting Avery lane for treasures. I love the idea of consignment shopping for quality pieces that have been taken care. I’ve even sold a piece. And it was super easy. Delivered one day and then a check showed up when I least expected it to.

I wish their was a ZERO star that is what they deserve. Do not consign with this place you will get nothing and they will never respond to you. I guess because they made the store like a large field they cant even put Air conditioning on it is like walking into an oven i almost passed out. Overpriced goods (check for original sales tags from other stores before you pay their prices). More importantly, the staff is rude and pretentious. Walked through there a half dozen times over the past year, and rarely do I get a welcome or a second look.Worse yet, they proudly defy mask law with a sign that says mask are optional despite Maricopa law. None of the staff has masks and the owner said she doesnt care about the Maricopa law, since the police told us it was ok. I find that hard to believe. In fact, Im willing to say she is lying based on my call with the police today.

Avery Lane: One of the finest consignment shops with very knowledgeable staff, designers and the owner, Darlene is top shelf. The furniture selection varies I stop in often as their turnaround is fast. I actually missed a Baker chair I wanted because i needed a day to think about it. Snooze you lose. But there are more gems to be had.

I used to love going into Avery Lane and have bought 10 pieces of furniture from them, along with accessories. Darlene has always been warm and welcoming but the rest of the staff are snooty, cold, and unwelcoming. The second store of women are the worst. They wont even look at me, offered to help me to find what i needed and never said thank you or good bye. Very bad business dealings.

I went in for the first time yesterday and loved everything in the store! The ladies were wonderful to work with… Extremely helpful and accommodating. Where to begin I should have read the reviews before consigning with them. Absolutely no commutation took all of our furniture never received any thing and was told all my furniture was donated which I don’t believe for one second. When you ask for information they are defensive and extremely rude. I would run far and fast.

Terrible customer service their prices are outrageous as a local designer i shop all the stores and i can tell you that you can find many of the pieces at other stores for way cheaper. They have a chair with their price at 899.99 and under the cushion there is a homegoods tag attached for 199.99, . The store is way too big . The owner has her picture all over the place the magazines she is in the publications call everyone you pay for the ad and write whatever you want and they publish it, she portrays an image that she is not. Buyers be beware.

I shop all the consignment stores in the valley for my clients no impressed with Avery Lane. The store is cluttered many items are ordered not consigned the gal working said the owner orders most of the items and VERY over priced you could go buy brand new for cheaper. The staff is condescending and plain rude. I was told by fellow designers how bad Avery Lane was I thought I would check it out for my self and form my own opinion and just letting all of my fellow reviewers know it definitely not worth the time going there . You can find great pieces at Copenhagen Furniture, Living Spaces Ladlows for cheaper and it is new .

Shopping for consigned furniture and accessories can be an excellent way to find one-of-a-kind treasures if you know where to look. Darlene Richert at Avery Lane has a great eye and consistently has the best selection of hidden gems in the Valley. My husband and I were recently at the store and found two high end Hickory Chair lounge chairs and matching ottoman. They have been barely used and will create a lovely reading area in our master bedroom. The store is lovely and the staff always very helpful.

I never write reviews until now my family trusted Avery Lane in consigning high end furniture with them. Several items were brought in to be sold. We had to pay to have all of them brought in and one of the delivery guys told my daughter that Avery Lane was not the best place to bring in our items as they said people had told them about their bad experiences with them. We moved forward with them as we were in a time crunch. After our items were brought to their store we went in about a month later and I could not find several of the pieces so I asked the employee and the looked up my name and said “ oh we thought you moved out of state “. I then asked so where are my items and was told “ don’t know look around “ we said that we did and the reply was “ so are you living here or out of state “ o said what does it matter where are my items. I was then told “ I don’t know I will have someone call you “. Never got a call and left them several messages no response. Weeks went by and we went back to Avery Lane and still no items to be found. We then asked the employee and was told in a low voice “ you really should go after the owner this has happened before “ we asked for the owner and was told “ she os not available we will give her the message. We never received a call. We received a check for one item and it was for peanuts. BEWARE THIEVES crooks DO Not use this company as the will screw you and Rob you of your items we lost $18,000. By trusting these crooks.

I purchased a sectional for a very good price before the holidays and they even helped with a referral in changing the pillow fabrics. The staff is helpful and their selection is ever changing. Go in and see for yourself but remember things arent in this shop long. I found that out the hard way, I took to long and it was gone the next time I was there.

Thought I would share my experience in this store this week! Re-decorating ...& in search of a higher end consignment store to sell very high end furniture & decor pieces from my family’s collection. These pieces are gorgeous, in style, in excellent condition & very expensive @ time of purchase! We do have all paperwork to prove. I did my research & decided to take an afternoon to visit 3 highly recommended shops in the Scottsdale area. Avery Lane being 1st on the list due to price point requirements! I guess you could say I wanted to check out the vibe of the places.Starting with walking in the door... a lady who obviously worked there couldn’t bother to speak or acknowledge I was actually a breathing Human! Not 1 other customer in sight...I was literally the only customer in the joint! I walked around the entire store & was never approached once during my time there. Not as much as a thx for stopping in when I did walk out! Needless to say ... 2 other customers came in separately during my visit & were immediately greeted & asked if they would like some water! 108 degree day in AZ...Just WOW!!! Fun fact...I actually have the resources to BUY anything in YOUR store... but typical RUDE SNOTS-DALE SNOBBY Sales person!!! Guess U assume a certain “look” are the ONLY $$$ in town!!! U must not have heard the old saying NEVER judge a book by its cover?!! Shame on U...U don’t deserve MY business or $$$!!!

We found Avery Lane to have the best options in resale furniture in both Tucson and Phoenix. The staff was friendly and helpful. The quality was priced appropriately and they found a way to ship it to Tucson safely.

I was in the store for twenty minutes. Neither of the attendants spoke to me. The items are way overpriced and it is probably not appealing to most buyers of home furnishings.

Avery lane stole all of our furniture we consigned we had a large home in desert mountain and consigned everything with avery lane. We received one check for pennies. I called to question where my items were a requested to retrieve them and was informed I would get a call back from someone whom could take care of the request. As you can guess we never got a return call. We went to the store we only saw two items in the showroom where did all of the other items go? We spoke to a RUDE lady that said we dont know that is not my problem. There was a guy in a black shirt working their that said he has had several people coming in upset they havent been paid and the owner makes everyone else cover for her. The owner will be speaking with our attorneys as we have filed suit.

Horrible place to consign if you expect to get nothing then leave your things here. I see others have the same experience as we had. It is all fluff just to take your items when they are questioned they get very defensive and plain out rude. Everyone their was rude and past the buck to another person.

We are in our 60s and bought a largeVERY heavy chest from this store. The staff set the piece on the sidewalk outside and walked away. We had to load it by ouselves. Very rude in refusing to help an older customer.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE we dropped off many items never received a penny and when we called in and question the lady became very defensive. After many calls we were told they donated all of our EXPENSIVE furniture we are now in contact with a lawyer. My neighbor said they had the same experience with Avery Lane when they consigned with them. The staff and owner are very rude threat the customers like trash. I was shopping at avery lane I found an item that was priced at 299.99 and had a Tj Maxx tag on the bottom for 19.99. Found the staff rude not helpful and was in an argument with another customer. There items are stuff my mothers mother would have. I would re search any item you purchase I would bet you find it cheaper. I would not waste time going there
