Cute place. Fun to look around. The concept of getting a doll that is exactly like they want with color tones and hair is a great idea. Kids want to feel like they are included, and this place does this. Wish it were a little more affordable, but it is a fun time to peruse and enjoy the wonders of doll items.

Took my daughter to this store in Scottsdale AZ. People were very nice, my daughter had a wonderful time. We had a great time visiting the store.

When we had my daughter’s birthday at the cafe in the private room it was such a fun experience and nice to have everything taken care of even the cake, which was really good and they packaged up the left over cake nicely. We went to many events and they were always well organized.

Beautiful store!! My daughter loved it!! The second we walked in she said wow! I love the hands on toys and dolls kids can play with! There are gorgeous dolls of all different ethnicities. You can even get your dolls hair done at their doll salon.I highly recommend getting a girl a doll from this store because you can get one that looks just like her and she can pick out beautiful outfits for doll and fun accessories! Little girls love to bring their American Girl dolls into the store too.I want to compliment the manager Heidi! She is absolutely wonderful! She has amazing customer service skills! It is obvious she loves her job and people.

My daughter attended a special Luciana Vega painting event held Sunday May 5th at the Scottsdale location.

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to go to an American Girl Store and I finally got to do it with my children and grandmother making it a memory that will last forever. We took a cookie decorating class and everyone got a souvenir. The staff was great and it was easy to loose track of time looking and interacting with all the items they have.

It is always a new experience everytime you enter the doors. They make their doll displays look so fun! I am never disappointed when I go. Somethings you can do when you go, are playing with the interactive display, get your dolls hair done, or even her ears pierced! If you havent been there before, you are missing out.

The store is beautiful, staff is great too but everything I was looking for was out of stock. Not much selection as far as clothing. We bought the dinner good quality for 400 bucks.

This place is closed. Just brought my daughter here and the windows are blanked out with paper and the doors are locked. Hopefully it’s temporary.

It was a nice tour that we had through Girl Scouts. Our girl scouts troop arranged for a tour where the lady ( sorry I forgot her name) was very patient in explaining kids of each and every doll and their details and all of above she was so good in answering all the questions that kids had. This place is a big expensive from my point of view. But they have some great collection.

If you have a little girl whos into dolls, this is a must-do. However, if you dont want to spend any money, steer clear! :)Ive found each of the 3 different American Girl stores Ive been to to be pretty much the same - decor and products offered.Its the layouts and people that vary. At this location, I thought the layout was easy to navigate. As well, the staff was very helpful.The cafes also appear to be different. While Im not sure all the stores have one, this one does. Although its not as big as the one in NYC, it looked like it did have a special birthday room, which Id imagine is super fun for a little birthday girl.In general the American Girl stores are top notch.

I always have a blast in this store. Really nice people (Diana is great), the staff explain everything clearly and act as personal shoppers, which I love, and are especially accommodating because I only buy the fantastic furniture and props for my (yes) Lee Harvey Oswald dolls that I make, which are totally in scale to the EXCELLENT 1950s Maryellen products. He is 16 or 17 inches and exactly the right height and proportions of a human being. They are not weirded out, oddly, but perhaps he is a novelty as opposed to the standard fare of dolls, plus my Lee is a peace-loving kindly version. And NEEDS lots of stuff. I love taking my Twilight Zone black-and-white Talky Tina doll in there too - she is the exact scale as the girl dolls, only evil (go watch the episode!) and also well received, since she is just so - wrong. : ) The cafe is absolutely fantastic, the food is great, I had a VERY substantial cheeseburger and the pretzel knots and the dipping sauce is to die for. The meals and desserts were VERY reasonable. As far as prices for the products...yes, well, I have come to expect dropping a bundle in there (one year ALL my vacation money I had saved up went toward furniture sets for Lee...) but the products are excellent quality. Being a fan of the 1950s, whoever is designing these particular pieces is doing it RIGHT and I am thrilled with it all. I wish the fridge lit up when opening it, but, a minor complaint; the TV set, couches, end tables, wee period magazines, TV trays, food, etc is beyond amazing, AND mixes perfectly with actual 1950s/60s vintage tin kitchen sets in that scale (ebay!). Me, Lee, and Tina LOVE THIS STORE. I only wish the cafe was walk-in (instead of Advanced Reservations) as usually I am in need of pretzel knots after walking around being blown away by everything...Splurge, please, blow wads and love it, life is short!!!

This story and their employees go the extra mile. I took my granddaughter for her birthday special with her doll. Spa treatment, nails, hair, bath and earrings. A little pricey but she lived it and was a special birthday present and good time with Grammy. They also do birthday parties there. Dolls and accessories are expensive.

I was expecting more we took our daughters who were very excited about their first American dolls and it was just a okay store. nothing that exciting accept overpriced dolls theyve closed the restaurant that my daughter was really looking forward to for the prices they demand for these dolls there just didnt feel like much of an experience as an example a Build-A-Bear experience this is more come in find a doll and get out and if you want to waste your money get the dolls ear pierced for more than an adult would pay or a haircut for more than an adult would pay in the real world. So kinda of up to you I guess this will be our first and last visit for sure.

This place is EXCELLENT! It is well stocked at all times and the staff is super professional and helpful, as well as very kind and considerate. This is an amazing experience you wont want to miss out on! This is paradise for every person who loves American Girl Dolls or simply anyone who enjoys shopping

The lady at at the entrance was fantastic! But the lady at the bistro and the man behind the grill counter had zero personality.....likely the mangers fault with regards to a lack of training...they need to understand the brand better and step it up! At least smile and pretend you like your job.

My Daughter absolutely loved this place. Hang on to your wallet lol. We got out of there just under 200.00 but if it was up to her I would be paying it off like a mortgage on a payment plan. Enjoy they are only young once.

What a great store to visit! So many things to look at and staff was very friendly when we were there. They even said they offer a personal shopper concierge service complementary to you. All you have to do is call ahead and let them know what youd like them to gather for you, and you can just go in and pick it up.

If you cannot go to AG NYC, this is definitely the place to visit both to shop and eat! The staff was incredibly friendly and conscientious as well as knowledgeable. We had a great experience!

The workers are nice and ask you if you need help with anything. They dont mind helping you find an item that youve been looking for. From my experience this is a good place to go for girls who are into dolls.

Neat store. Saddened to find no Asian dolls.. there might have been one with slight Asian features - but overall Asian Americans were not represented in their otherwise multi-cultural offering. Made it an awkward experience for us.

So disappointed in American Girls hiring. We have been coming here for years only to see the customer service drop.We were “helped” by a girl that was completely ignorant of American Girl history and information. We actually heard her question another employee on their credibility. The other employee is one we have seen for years and who is always very helpful, she shouldn’t have been treated like that.Discouraged by American Girls lack of care for their customers and employees by hiring girls who don’t care about the brand or care to learn.

I was here traveling for work and had no idea there was an American Girl store. The staff was so friendly and caring. Since I was in town for business my 7 year daughter was not with me. As I walked the store I took pictures of things, especially the salon area to text to my husband to show my daughter. She, of course, could not believe I was in an actual store. I, of course, could not leave with out getting something for her. So a Bitty Baby it was. Her birthday is at the end of the month, my only delima now is whether to give it to her the moment I see her or hold it until the end of the month. Thank you to Scottsdale store for making my first store visit great.PS how do you plan a trip to Scottsdale just to visit an American Girl store. lol

The reps working there were all very courteous, clean store & good selection.

Picking out the hairstyle she wants done for her doll! We made a reservation but if they aren’t busy sometimes they can get you in on the spot. Fun!

I tried placing an order for 2 days, the website would not take my order with my account or as a guest customer. I tried calling and was put on hold 3 different times for over 20 min each time. I never spoke to anyone. This is so awful customer service. I have been purchasing from this company for over 15 years and I think they must have gotten to big.

Very pushy people on the floor. Amanda couldnt stop trying to push a doll on us. Have you guys made your decision yet? 4 times? Are you for real? Its so obviously a commission based pay for these employees. Only one employee showed professional behavior and true comittment to service of customers. Laura should be training all the employees because they need to be retrained and Amanda needs to get hunting for a new job.
