The person who is working at the counter trying nickel and dime you and I believe this place should be immediately inspected and reported for bad business. Do NOT go here please.

This is it!Have been to this place today and got everything I needed for my Quarantine-cooking-spree!This place is Tidy with fair prices on all goods, a cozy ambience & just what was needed around this area!Its definitely going to be my go-to place for Indian groceries :)

Expired food items, used masks in the shelves,water dripping over items, parathas with fungus. We have tried this establishment a few times but it is always the same. Ensure you open frozen food before buying and check expiry dates. No more business from us.

They have expanded their store, must say its more clean and organized . Now we dont have to go too far for our Indian needs . They have good customer service . As Indian cook, here you can get almost everything u need for Indian recipes. This place is accessible for wheelchairs .they also keep fresh Indian vegetables .Finding right product price around the product and vegetables was challenging.

They are selling pastries and samosas and there’s available seating outside to consume the items while they are fresh, but they have no ‘to-go’ silverware for you. Also the pastry shelf and freezer items have zero labeling of item desc. and price.

Its a wonderful place to shop. The food is incredible and its just fun to window shop the aisles. Also the people are very nice.

You can find almost all the possible Indian groceries items here.Wont recommend ordering food from here. Average at best with lots of spices. And costly too, some of the curry items costing $15.

Very tasty food, a little too spicy though, even for my East Indian palate but just 👌👌!!We buy something almost every week or other week.Samosas are very tasty too, modestly priced and comes with fried, green, 🔥chillies! 😋We have tried their chhole bhature, samosa, veg. biryani, chicken 65, apollo fish, 3-4 varieties of sweets, fresh jalebi etc.Certain fresh vegetables like parwal would be appreciated. :)Good store. 👍

I ordered goat biryani, chicken 65, 1 masala dosa, 1 Mysore masala dosa, and I am so very disappointed. The meat from biryani tasted stale and biryani was just plain rice taste and no masala.. also both the dosas were just the same taste. Chicken 65 had burnt bell pepper and fresh curry leaves, how can you justify this.. I am so disappointed that I chose saffron food on my Birthday. Also there was very bad smell as I entered the store to pick up my food that was so unhygienic, unpleasant experience. Not sure if these guys taste their food or do quality control if they are serving fresh food. To my surprise each item prices were $2 extra than what they mentioned in their menu. DISAPPOINTED!!

It is a small nice place with almost everything you need. The vegetables are fresh and restocked almost twice every week. My personal favorite is the fresh samosa. It tastes very good and is cheaper compared to a lot of restaurants close by.

Small new Indian grocery store in scottsdale area. Visited there twice so far, found vegetables are fresh. But the price are comparatively high. Good for a quick vegetable shopping only.Ready to pay extra for better quality vegetables, but not for other items. I purchased Paneer, for which they charged $15.99, which is easily available at other indian stores for $12:99.Edit: attaching invoice from Saffron & same item available at other stores on a cheaper price.

Not clean, empty shelves. Unorganized, ask for food, lady says kitchen close 230p. time say 220p.

Nice start. 4 Stars just for encouraging the owners for better service.Store is very small and limited with options. Understanding that store open just yesterday (6/12), hope in sometime it arrange better and may review it again.Also, expect that price will be competitive and store will operate on scale rather than big margins.Best of luck

Completely surprised by this gem of a market. Helpful and friendly staff. Fully stocked shelves filled with all sorts amazing products.

My favorite indian grocery store to shop at. They have almost every spice, blend, vegetable and ingredient needed for authentic indian cooking. The staff is super friendly and I love the food they make (best samosas in maricopa county). Since the pandemic they have been home delivering which is really helpful. They always have fresh goat meat. I highly recommend shopping here.

I ordered through what’s app indian grocery. It was fresh hand picked veggies. Even if I would have gone to the store wouldn’t be able to select such good produce. Especially during pandemic times getting the convenience of free delivery was a boon. On time no hassle easy communication, prompt and responsive. Don’t got out to buy order through what’s app they will deliver.

Vegetables and chicken were very fresh.Delivery guy had a mask on, which made us more comfortable.. They brought my groceries on the same day in a very short span of time..

I was happy to see a indian story opening this side of town. But disappointed even after 4-5 months, the operations is not stable. Most items are not price marked. Each item you keep asking price. Prices of vegetables are secret till ordered and lack transparency. Also, this store seems more focused on restaurant deals rather Grocery.

I placed order with them and asked them to deliver the groceries. They are very polite and did an excellent job. I asked them to send me few very specific things and msg them to call me if they dont find that same thing. They called me back and I got all those things. Very nice people to talk to, this was my first experience with Saffron. Glad the way they serve their customers. Recommended them to my other friends.

Food is not good. Purchased a Vijayawada biriyani which was not having any salt in biriyani rice and was a tasteless biriyani raw rice with some chicken pieces. Not sure if they are making a quality or taste check for the food before providing to customers.

The experience was satisfactory. It is a small store (congested space for hardly a few people to shop at the same time) at this point and hold the essential Indian pantry and grocery items. I hope the store would expand in near future. It is also a Shop Small Amex preferred store.

Excellent communication, always very responsive on the phone. We found the groceries to be fresh and good quality. We ordered Curbside pickup and within 2 hours it was ready for pick up

5 star to you guys for the items you keep. Quite easy to shop. Been there just once and came out really happy with everything i wanted really quick.From covid19 point of view i request you to be more strict when it comes to using masks, i could see store employees/owners doing billing without masks on. Maybe thats due to some underlying condition, but then please use face shields at least or put those for billing who have no issue with masks. We Indians tend to be quite conservative and am slightly afraid to visit again.

They must be appreciated for their same day delivery. The veggies are very fresh and all the groceries look so good.

Samosas are the best here! If you want good fresh meat, this is the place. I like this store and the way they attend to customers.

I visited Saffron groceries, and it was small but everything was available and it was very convenient. The vegetables were fresh and I am glad to have an Indian grocery store nearby!

I had a very bad experience with this place. I ordered chicken biryani and picked up from their store, they took more time than what they told (had me waiting for 20 min) and when I reached home and opened biryani it was a vegetarian biryani. They are not even aware what they are packing . Veg Biryani to my surprise had a boiled egg. I would never recommend this restaurant, bad quality food and they don’t know what is the different between vegetarian and non vegetarian and making fool of people.

Its a bigger store now. Expanded on the inventory, snacks, pickles, frozen, etc. Can be your regular shop stop for that Indian grocery list.

There was a very bad smell inside!

So glad theres a genuine Indian grocery in north Scottsdale. Walked in to be delighted by many frozen foods and FRESH produce. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping in. They have EVERYTHING YOU CAN NEED FOR THE BEST DiNNER EVER. Try the ice cream and mango popsicles. There a true delicacy that tast just like fresh mango. Im glad Pastries n Chaat still has the kitchen to cook the amazing food in the back. So pretty much you have everything you need including amazing advice. Stop in you wont regret it. I will be back soon!!

Please dont buy Chicken here, it stinked like crazy, unfortunately I couldnt return it on the same day as I had to leave Scottsdale for 2 weeks. When I came back and informed about the issue they were reluctant to accept the fact that Chicken stinked and no refund either.

We got the order with in2 hrs and very fresh vegetables, they are friendly!!
