Saw a used gun for sale. Gun was a fairly newer model. No box, no extra back straps, missing one magazine. Was told by TWO separate employees they would throw in a magazine (they cost around $59-$60). The used price was based on a gun with all materials, including the magazine. Before it was put on layaway, we once again confirmed and made sure and clearly that no second mag=no deal. Called next day to confirm they could get magazine...sure, for an additional $35. Then they claimed the price was based on one magazine. That was a complete lie. So the transaction was cancelled. This is the type of business youre dealing with. Good luck.

Been stopping here and other shops along my route now for a few months. Every time I visit Roll Call it seems the staff is never the same, no one can answer any questions and they never have enough staff. Range is tiny, with the walls floors covered in bullet holes. Never have range supervisor, terrible lighting, unsafe and dirty. Prices are cheaper elsewhere and much nicer ranges around that are clean and safe. Save your money and go else where.

Bought my first AR 15 from Roll Call today. This was my second purchase (bought 2 handguns a few months ago). I have to say that once again these are just a great bunch of guys. To be specific, it was pretty busy and also kinda late. Nevertheless, I had 3 different ppl give me comprehensive instructions on each of the rifles and carbines I was interested in. They took their time and made me feel completely comfortable with each guns operation and options. They listened to my intentions and sold me the AR that made the most sense, even guiding me away from the more expensive model that didnt suit my use ATM. The cheaper one giving me more flexibility. Thanks guys.

I am absolutely beyond appalled at the way that I was treated earlier today when I was in to browse, was treated like a second class citizen while I kept getting handed off to different staff each of which had little to nothing helpful to say. First and last time I will ever be in it’s crazy to me how they get any repeat customers. I’m not even going to get into the range just stay away from this place all together

The staff at this gun store is beyond helpful, kind, and courteous. I stopped in to talk about a trade in and promised i would be back. But I watched an unruly customer cause issues with the employees. Even once the situation was handled and I came back they staff was so friendly, talkative, and resourceful. I ended up going through with a trade in, mostly just on how much I enjoyed my visit. Hats off to the owners and staff of Roll call for the way they run a business. Especially to Johnny and Tim. Excellent local sporting good shop one of the better in North East Pennsylvania. Unmatched for indoor ranges and rentals. I have bought multiple firearms, ammo, parts, reloading supplies, and gear here over the years. Some of the better prices and service around. Always friendly and helpful. Specializing in more modern stuff typically. Great place for a bachelor or Bachelorette party. Rent and bring your own toys and have a range day.

All of the employees were incredibly polite and helpful, amazing customer service and any and all questions you had were answered. The selection and accessories were great along with the prices and I honestly believe it is one of the best quality stores in the Dickson city area. No doubt that I would definitely recommend to anyone in the market.

As I was looking around the store, I overheard 3 workers talking about how these black guys and there taco friend, whatever that means..that came and bought weapons where probably the one that did it. Seriously...come on... I dont even know what else to say at this point....This business needs to train there employees immediately!!

Just the nicest group of ppl Ive run across in a firearms store. They took their time with me and my wife, no rushing, no problem showing us handgun after handgun. Now Im not a newbie but Im not exactly experienced so I had a ton of questions. They answered every one of them in a kind and courteous way. Thanks for a great experience.

Decided it might be time to purchase my first firearm for protection. I called this place to ask a few questions before I made the trip and am glad I did. I had some basic questions and was treated rudely by the person on the phone and told they were too busy to talk and rushed me off the phone not even saying goodbye when they rudely hang up. I will shop at a different place.

Opinion here is unprofessional and WAY Overpriced - They charge WAY MORE than others do for the SAME exact NRA Courses then when asked why they insult the other instructors in the area. I will NEVER go back there - WAY TOO MUCH NEGATIVITY!

The staff was great.The onky thing I wasnt happy with is paying for an hour of range time for my husband and I, to be there for 20 minutes and find out they didnt have any 9mm ammo in stock so we had to leave, but still was charged for the entire hour...

Worst experience ever!!!!! I got there around 4pm to pick-up an FFL transfer. In the middle of filling out my paperwork, the guy just walks off and hands it over to some other guy. After completing my application, he told me it would be 2 hours, they took my paperwork to the back and never came back out. At 7pm I called to check on my paperwork and they told me it was gonna take 2-3 hours(mind you 2 hours passed already) and that they wouldnt be able to get to me today(and they close at 9pm). I seen 3-4 people come in and pickup firearms while i was there. I went there to pick up firearms prior but it was with a completely different staff. I had on a shirt that said black fathers matter. I dont want to think it was a racial issue but everyone that picked up a firearm with no issue was of a different hue!!!

For my first time being there they also respectful. As soon as I walk to the door I got help I like that the place was nice and clean I will definitely go back there again. The employees was so helpful

I was recently shopping for an AR type of rifle and stopped in to check some out and see what they had. the inventory was amazing. i was helped by christian who was very knowledgeable and eager to answer my questions.i purchased my new ruger AR and christian took time to show me how to disassemble and clean the gun. he also mounted the optics and dialed it in. i was very impressed with the service and friendly atmosphere of this store.

I came to purchase a rifle and handgun today and was very excited. The worker was soo extremely roud and nasty that I literally came straight out and asked him, what was going on and why are you treating your customers this way. He responded by saying we are short staff and its been a very long day if you dont like it you can go someplace else. I was totally shocked by his response and behavior. He then continued to tell me that I couldnt buy a rifle because I needed the yellow drivers license card. Which BTW I have if he would have asked me...NEVER WILL DO BUSINESS HERE AND I AM GOING TO TELL ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE.

I was recommended to this place. Went to purchase my first gun, and was treated like a 3rd rate citizen and ended up walking out. No Customer Service or knowledge of guns from Employees. Tried it again by going to the range to shoot the gun that I bought at Field & Stream. Booked my time online, even showed up 15 min early for instruction. The employee at the range was very helpful, and even felt bad that it was a bad time. They played with my gun the first 25 min, and then said it was the ammo I had wasn’t working properly. Went to exchange and again the Counter Help was no help. I walked back up packed my gun up and walked out of the store. Paid to shoot and never fired a shot. Even bought some glasses...🤦🏻‍♂️. I proceeded back to Field & Stream got new ammo, and even purchased a shotgun. I heard good things about a place in Wilkes-Barre called the “Log Cabin”, guess I will have to try to shoot there. Disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience today at Roll Call to purchase my first hand gun. The associate, Christian, spent much time teaching me hand gun basics and asking great questions to understand my needs. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase, in fact, he encouraged me to write down the info for the guns I was interested in to do my own research and come back when I was ready. They were well stocked with different hand gun options that would fit different budget ranges, sizes, weights and styles. I was fortunate enough to be able to test a similar gun on the range to learn how to use and shoot my gun. The checkout process was thorough but efficient. I’ll be a life long customer at Roll Call!

Pretty new to the area and decided to visit Roll Call. Wise decision! Jerry is amazing as is his staff. I can call this a one stop shop for your gun needs, be it firearms, suppressors, ammo, apparels, targets (just to name a few).If youre at the range and are lucky enough to have Nicole as the range instructor then it will be even better. Let me start this off by saying the staff here are friendly, but the prices are absolutely insane. The prices are so bad this place deserves one singular star. They are charging $850 for a PSA 15 completed lower. You can buy this online for $250 then get it transferred to an FFL. The fact that they are charging $600 more is just so mind boggling to me. Every time I walk in their I am drawn away by their prices especially compared to all the other gun stores in the area. I dont know If it is even worth anyones time to look for a firearm here.

I went here today for a light for my AK, brought it home and thought it was the wrong light. After bringing it back trying to return it, Christian and Josh helped me out greatly. All I needed was a different mount for it. They both assisted me in putting it on, and told me the other routes I can go. I would highly recommend those two guys to anybody, for anything.

Already left a review about a year ago. So this is more of a suggestion to those reading reviews. Please read the owners response too the negative reviews. Roll call can’t say it, but I can. It seems too me that all the negative reviews are from people who don’t fully understand how gun shops operate and the laws regarding how they HAVE too operate, or feel entitled and think the world stops for them. This place truly is first class. I’d send anyone I know to this place.

Let me start off by saying that this place rocks. I typically like a lot of “big bore” stuff that isn’t always commonly available. Because of this, I typically don’t find what I’m looking for anywhere else. These guys have brand new stuff in stock almost as soon as it’s released. Further, they have exotic pieces as well, and they have a very good “used” selection too. I’ve purchased from them numerous times. If they don’t have it in stock, they can get it. If for some reason they can’t get it, they will receive and transfer your firearms from wherever you CAN find it if it is an exotic or otherwise “out-of-stock” item that you have shipped to them from other dealers. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Roll Call, and I drive almost an hour one-way to get there, with zero complaints.EVEN FURTHER, I always come back to them when I need my sights changed. So far, I’ve had them swap out my stock sights to tritium “night sights” on 4-different Glocks, and 1-1911/Delta Elite. Again, I have zero complaints, and Jerry is the f’n man.Overall, this is a great shop, with good people and good vibes. I’ve sent lots of my friends their way in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. I have nothing bad to say about this spot. They also have pretty great prices for range / firearm rentals too, not for nothing. Highly recommended.

Went there for my first gun purchase. It was about 2 pm if that and thinking there would be no one there. You first walk in to a nice waiting type area then walk through to a non gun section which had no customers in that area with two employees. Then you walk to the gun area which was loaded with customers and had about 3 employees. They were all too busy to help.Idk 🤷‍♂️ I was kind of turned off after awhile of waiting and bought a gun and ammo down the road . I may go again and give it a second chance

Horrible customer service. They act annoyed and impatient with every question you ask. Also, they never told me my background check came back so after about an hour I asked if it would take much longer only for them to tell me it already came back so who knows how much extra time I wasted there. Definitely would not recommend this place

I went there today because I wanted to purchase a new gun customer service is absolutely deplorable at best... There was no one in the store no 1 greeted me no 1 asked me if I needed anything I walked around for 20 minutes I asked 1 of the sales associates about a gun he reluctantly showed it to me it was almost like I was bothering him. If this is how your customer service is going to be then I dont think Ill ever go back there to buy another gun theres lots of stores I can go to that would treat me A whole lot better greet me and actually asked me if I would like to buy something... Absolutely fantastic! I recently purchased my first handgun, even though I have prior firearm experience I am not as knowledgeable as other gun owners. And the workers at Roll Call are extremely friendly and eager to answer any and all questions you may have. They are well educated in just about everything firearm related. Also, the indoor range is a very nice well kept area with staff that are more than willing to ensure the best range experience possible.

This place is legit, the staff are super nice and understanding and accommodating, I went for the first time to test my freshly built pistol (Glock) and I had a malfunction after 10 rounds could you believe it my firing pin broke. The staff took a look at the broken pistol with me and tried to help the best they could but to no success they let me finish my time using there in house Glock.. no one would do this but that compassion and extra mile has earned my respect and a forever customer I’m sending all my friends and family down. Horrible horrible... HORRIBLE customer service. My first experience at this store was in person. I walk in, no one greets me or offers me any help. I try to get the attention of a sales associate.. he ducks into the office before I can reach him. Another associate (the only one left) is with a customer. I wait and wait, still no one offers any assistance. Finally the customer leaves. Before I get over to the sales associate his wife reaches him. She was waiting against the wall to bring him food in the MIDDLE of his shift. Theyre talking and talking, completely disregarding the fact that there has been a customer waiting for help for about 25 minutes. Finally I reach him.. turns out they dont carry the gun I am looking for... big waste of my time and patience.My second experience is over the phone asking about their hours of operation during the beginning of the Covid19 pandemic. The guy who answers the phone not only doesnt answer my question, he HANGS UP ON ME.. I DONT KNOW WHAT TIME WE OPEN TOMORROW... CLICK as if it where a bother to him to answer a simple question.Seriously bring your business elsewhere. It may be a bit of a drive but at least youll get the gun youre looking for and some decent customer service and hospitality.

Denied sale to me because of a NYS driver’s license.Despite that I had brought the required equipment to make it NY compliant, (1 part, 45 second install) I was still denied for being a NY resident. Don’t support bootlickers who deny constitutional rights. Down the street you can find shops that will honor the document that gives them the ability to sell firearms.

Exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly staff. The gentlemen behind the counter helped me facilitate a private party transfer and I appreciated their expertise. The store is immaculately maintained, and firearm selection seemed phenomenal. I would certainly return.

I’d have to say I had my expectations exceeded everybody that I was very polite and I had all of my needs dealt with very quickly there were some troubles I was having but they resolve them extremely quickly and I am more than happy to say took very much into consideration my needs and comfort. I highly recommend the shop because they understand All of your needs wants and desires and focus on getting you the confirmation and satisfaction that you need. These guys are crooks, they offered me $250 for a G43 and then told me they would be selling it for $500. I get you gotta make a profit but thats some highway robbery. Take your business elsewhere, literally anywhere else. UPDATE AFTER REPLY FROM STORE: you advised me you would be selling mine for around $500 and tried to low-ball me at $250, but its your lie and you can tell it how you want I suppose. as for the condition the handgun had never been fired, had no dust, or rust or any wear. But nice try trying to save face. Youre all still crooks.

Just completed the Home Defense training class. Shawn and Joe did a fantastic job and made the afternoon not only very educational, but also fun. The real-life scenarios made me realize how important situational training is. I’d recommend this class to anyone who is serious about protecting their family. Great job guys. If they dont have what you want they will try to order it. They also do FFL transfers. Prices on firearms and transfers are fair. Indoor range is great.

Can not say enough positive remarks about Roll Call. From basic training such as what to do in the case of an active shooter up to tactical handgun training and everything in between. The instructors have huge experience in both law enforcement and educating the public about firearm safety. The counter staff are well knowledgeable and extremely pleasant and accessories for all your firearms are plentiful. If you want it and they dont have it, they will get it. The Shooting range is clean and state of the art. If you are looking for more than just a gun store this is the place to go.

Stopped in when I was in the area. Extremely helpful staff. Good selection. I only spent about $40, but did not stop the staff from making me feel like I was buying half the store. I’d recommend anyone into shooting to stop by. These types of gun stores are far and few in between. I can’t wait to go back.

Was helped by a young lady today who sold me my first ccw, she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helped steer me in the direction of a much better quality product than what I wouldve picked out myself. She also spent a significant amount of time answering all my questions, and finding something that would be just perfect for me, despite the chaos of a very busy weekend. After taking it home and getting to know it, I am extremely happy with my purchase and overall experience! FNS-9 at a great price!

Probably the nicest gun store I’ve Been to, and there’s always someone there that knows their stuff! They have a range, a clothing section for men and women, cool props like a BMG and missles; you can order a suppressor and use it there while you wait for it... they have a silencershop kiosk, very helpful staff, & you don’t feel pressured by staff to buy if youre just browsing....Only problem, is that it’s a 40 min drive from me lol would come here more often if i could. Clothing, gear, sights, equipment, “exotic” guns, props... cant say enough good things about this place and their staff, they let you openly play with their firearms and give you solid advice based on your interests.Edit they have a handgun range that’s small but very well kept and easy going. Decent selection of rental guns, which apparently are regularly serviced. Makes renting really enjoyable

I participated in the Introduction To Fire Arms Class and to say I was nervous was an understatement. The instructors however were able to create an atmosphere of knowledge, instruction, safety, and fun. I learned a tremendous amount in four hours and left feeling confident. I’m glad I took my first class and look forward to my continued practice at the indoor range. Thank you to everyone involved for making this type of training available to the general public!

Today I visited Roll Call on Hudson Avenue in Scranton (off Keyser Avenue) to get assistance from Jerry regarding my laser sights on my H&K and I was extremely impressed with him and another technician. They made me feel important and i wasnt buying anything. They made every effort to resolve my laser alignment issue and i was completely satisfied with the outcome. I was also impressed with their knowledge and courteous attitude. I spent at least an hour sniffing hand guns.This store is a mans toys r us Store.Bob Russell.

The staff is incredible and the prices are excellent. Best customer service in the area. Facility is top notch for firearms purchases and testing prior to purchasing. Highly recommended.

I was doing some shopping online looking and comparing prices. The ammo prices are exorbitantly inflated, many of the handguns I was looking at are set at the exact MSRP or above it. There were a few rifles that are well overpriced on the web sight as well. Ill take my business elsewhere that I know I can get it for a better price, ammo and firearms alike.

Very clean and nice selection although unlike most other shooting ranges they asked me for my concealed carry permit to rent a gun to shoot in the range staying its to prove that I can legally carry a gun. Ive never been asked to show my concealed before, after all we live in an OPEN CARRY STATE. I felt very insulted, almost as if the employee predetermined that I was a criminal and could caryy a weapon to begin with.

Excellent staff, great gun shop especially for those who love tactical. The indoor gun range is amazing.

Saving my money because through their tactical training! If you purchase a handgun go here for your training they will teach you everything you need to know so youre not afraid of it and you can handle it with a level head in any situation.

One of the best local gun shops in NEPA, if not THE best. Great folks, huge selection of firearms, easy going, very comfy and inviting store. Extremely competitive prices, very reasonable, and honest pay outs on used guns they buy. Extensive selection of ammo and accessories. Hell, even their bathroom is nice!!! I have only TWO negative things to say about them. 1. I miss the Deli, 2. The havent hired me to work there....(GRIN).
