Bought a KTM, great experience, very helpful staff.
I walked in hoping to buy a bike. Walked around the show room floor. Stood and stared at the bike I wanted. And no one would ask if I needed help. So I left.
This is the worst cycle shop I’ve ever been in, I’ve gone several times. Total posers. Just the worst if you really like to ride.
I arrived to a place filled with beautiful machines I purchased a 2020 Raptor 700 for my wife. Dalton was the sales associate and he did everything in his power to make the experience quick and painless with no hassle or up sale pressure. He is the main reason I will be returning for another purchase in the future great customer service and professional treatment. The place was clean and took all precautions to make me feel safe with covid 19 guidelines. Thanks Dalton see you in the future for my next purchase.
Huge Thank you to Justin B and everyone who works here, we have purchased new bikes in last 3 years, 2 from closer to home, however we will now do all our buying from MPPS! Justin was incredibly knowledgable and really helped us know how to maintain new 2021 YZ250FX. We were made to feel very comfortable by every person in this place, best experience ever! We will drive the 5 hours from now on for all our dirtbike needs totally worth it. RJ has a great group of people in this place and awesome products. Thank you!
I asked for a email photo of the Honda,Monkey At 10:AM. I oredered the blue one, and it was delivered from Seaside to Santa Cruz Before 8:PM the same day and I rode to the Harbor before 9:PM.

Went for onewheel parts, sales kid was very helpful
They did a great job replacing the tires on my bike. My only disappointment was the additional time billed for the rear tire that I originally thought was a precaution in case they needed more time, but that’s how business goes. Be sure you negotiate hours before service! Otherwise prices are fair, and techs and staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
The service here was terrible my son ordered parts here about 1 month and a half ago and when I would ask if my parts came in the only responses we would get would be next week and tomorrow
My wife and I were halfway through a 2500 mile trip and needed some unexpected service and a replacement headlight bulb. Justin in service got us an appointment on short notice and we were in, done, and on our way again ASAP. We had a great experience and I recommend these guys 100%.
Great gear upstairs and Kevin is the guy! Super helpful!
I was very impressed with the people, process, and service here. Justin in sales was attentive, very good at communicating, and made sure I was happy with the entire process. They do great work and honest work with good price.
Thank you to Monterey Peninsula Motorsports staff for getting me back on the road. I Was on my way back to LA and needed a tire last minute for my victory Magnum, They installed it on an hour. Loved the customer service.
I asked for simple pricing and they couldn’t figure it out. All I needed was a ball park price. No financing needed as I was gonna pay cash but they actually couldn’t provide me any information. Wow. Thanks though. Bought 3 Honda’s instead. You guys missed out. I only pay cash for everything.
Very nice. I like looking at the cypress trees. There are lots of great views and I was able to find parking at many of the stops along the 17 Mile trip. Also it was nice going to the little shop area 2 go to Starbucks and get a quick bite to eat. It was a nice with a laid-back atmosphere. I usually dont go to the beach areas because its so stressful getting their parking and dealing with the people.
Review for a quick Ducati service: I called a day before I wanted to drop off my bike for a quick software update and an oil change. They were very accommodating and had me in the first thing in the AM on a Saturday. Im 2 hours got everything taken care of. I was told that they are under new management. They seemed like genuinely trying to improve their service.
Came in to get some OTD pricing. Was met with some very friendly staff who made sure all my questions were ansered. I am just getting into riding, so they made me feel very comfortable with my choice in coming here.
Theyre very helpful and awesome this is definitely a kid-friendly store I really appreciate all the help I received when I was in the store! They have excellent customer service and staff who are very knowledgeable about the motorcycles and parts!
Parts department got me back on the road after my flip-up helmet right hinge broke during a ride today - thanks fellas! I was on my way back home to Santa Cruz from my Birthday ride to Big Sur, and was anticipating having to buy a new helmet at the shop, but the parts team worked together and fixed it on the spot. Service done right - well done and thank you again!
Great service, awesome personal working there no pressure and very Knowledgeable Would recommend this place to anyone little experience or a seasoned riders this is the spot to go !
Great people and service here. The manager is a great guy. Bought my 2017 Honda Rebel 500 from here. Manager was helpful in the process. Be aware that what ever the sticker price is, your out the door price will be about $1000 higher. With the uncrating fee, assembly fee, paperwork fee, and other fees and taxes, my bike with a sticker of around $5900 went to about $7000.
Great shop with owners that ride! I appreciate the service and passion for motorcycling in general. Always great to do business with Motorcycle people!
Staff was very helpful
I used to like getting my motorcycle serviced here. But after the new management took over in 2019, customer service went down and prices went significantly up, by approximately 45%.This is a very steep increase coupled with a service quality decline. I hope that the new management invests in upping their customer service and reducing prices, instead of their current focus on social media and advertising, which is about the only thing theyve improved on.Very sorry I had to write this, but Im disappointed with this change to this very dear shop to me.
Went to their parts and service department to ask about a possible add on for my bike. I know the add on I was asking about was a little different stylistically but I had seen some that had pulled it off. I ask the parts guy about it and he says, you want to put THAT on your bike? Like I said, I know its a different look but I told him yeah, Ive seen some pull it off. He responds with Yeah theres guys putting it in each others butts but that doesnt make it right.
Great customer service!!!
Love this place! I always look forward to visiting. Good honest people here😊
Cannot say enough good things! Excellent service, excellent advice, and no charge :-) I was on the road, a thousand miles from home, when my Triumph Scrambler started stalling randomly. I had a long, long way to go, and this was the nearest Triumph dealer I rode to for help. Despite the fact that the service department was booked solid for weeks, Jeff from service hooked my bike up to diagnostics and found the problem, and remapped the exhaust system - problem solved. And he wouldnt let me pay for it, either. I am blown away, and incredibly grateful!
I bought a small Honda Rebel at this dealership 10 years ago, when it had different owners. After reading all the negative reviews in Yelp, I was pretty worried about bringing in my small bike in for service. I have been changing the oil but little else. I found that their service department was just fine. Jeff in Service is a good guy, as another reviewer said, and there was a younger guy who helped me initially, who was also fine. I did not feel that there was any attitude since I had a small bike (goes about as fast as a lawnmower), and they were thoroughly professional. They gave me an estimate, held to that estimate, and had the bike ready just a few hours later. I am a happy customer and recommend this shops Service Department wholeheartedly.
My wife and I bought 2 Honda Shadows from these guys. The owner, Jim, and his girlfriend, who doesnt do sales, were fantastic. They answered all of our questions and were very patient with us. Fantastic customer service. They even stayed 2 hours after closing to help us figure out what we wanted.I highly recommend them.
Dropped my Ducati Monster 1200S and desperately needed a shift lever so I could make it home 150 miles away. Jim (and if he is NOT a manager, he SHOULD be) went above and beyond to help me get an otherwise non stock item. He was absolutely the best experience I had the entire weekend.
Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. If you need a motorcycle this is the place to get one.
My experiences have been great all around. Sales staff have been patient and knowlegable. Parts department always gives me good maintanence advice, and had fast and professional service repair. Were lucky to have them locally in my opinion.. :-)
I love this place 🙏
Guys are awesome and not here to rip you off like salinas cycle center. Tire change 114.00 and here is 35.00. No need to bad mouth salinas cuz u make the choice. This place rocks
My fiancé and I stopped by twice. The first time, we were not greeted nor was there anyone visible in the store. The second time, my fiancé was approached and asked what he was looking for, but whoever was helping was extremely rude and spoke to my fiancé like he was an idiot, and basically told him to get a job and f**k off. The people who work there have no sense of customer service nor no sense of humanity. We are never going back. Horrible service, literally the worst service Ive ever received.
They had a Ducati Hypermotard SP 939 that I liked. Called and Jim answered, gave me all the info I needed. Next day got all my stuff ready to go and pick up the bike. This place is about 2.5 hours away from my house, so I called again to make sure the bike was still there, Jim said yes.I took me 3 hours to get there as traffic was heavy. When I arrived to the dealership, walked around, didnt see anybody, so I walked to the office they have.A guy name Mike (about 5 tall and skinny) was there.Conversation goes like this:Me: Hi, is Jim availableMike: NO and silence.....Me: I came to check out and possibly buy the Ducati hypermotard, can you help me?Mike:YesI sat on the bike and then asked if He could take it outside to fire the bike up (it had a different exhaust system than the original, so I was curious how loud it was). There wasnt too much room, so I offered if He wanted me to move something out of the way,Mike: NOWhile He was going through the small space I noticed the kick stand was down and said -oh, be careful the kickstand is down (not for the bikes, I didnt want it to hit him in the shim or trip on it)Mike: Have you bought this bike already? ( I didnt know He was being sarcastic at this point)Me; No, but thats what Im here forMike: Because you are acting like you bought it alreadyMe: Dude, its not about the bikes, I just didnt wanted you to get hurtMike: DONT WORRY ABOUT ME AND DONT ACT LIKE IF THE BIKE IS YOURS ALREADY!!At this point I was confused, didnt know what was his problem, but I didnt say anything else. When we got outside, Mike placed the bike on the ground, turn around and came to my face and said, -DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO AND STOP ACTING LIKE YOU OWN THE BIKE ALREADY!.At this point I had it, this guy is yelling at me, disrespecting me for absolutely no reason.I blew up and told to go f#@$% himself. When Im walking away, He starts the bike with a very cold engine and revs it up like a maniac, again and again and laughing like crazy. (Even two people that were walking out were commenting Wow that guy is reving the hell out of that bikeI just feel sorry for the owner of the bike as this was a CONSIGMENT, His/her bike would have been sold today and instead it was being mistreated by an idiot with no sense!!!.Never had an experience like this in my life, If I had a bike in consignment there I would run to get it back. This idiot doesnt care about motorcycles, clients and probably nothing else.Dont forget I was there to purchase the bike, I dont even want to think how it would be to get a problem fixed!.The owner of this place should fire this idiot on the spot.
Kind and knowledgeable staff! These guys will take care of you!
Clayton b.I have tried numerous times to work with the sales management since theyre in charge of the final pricing of the sale of a motocycle with no success.i take my business elsewhere. I blame the sales manager for the unprofessional experiences. Jim is his name.stay away from him & you will be fine.
Went in a few months ago looking to order a part. They opened at nine and I was in five or so minutes after. I waited in line at the parts counter behind someone else for about seven minutes. When no one came out, and were not greeted once by the person on the sales floor, I wandered into the back to find someone. When I very politely asked if we could get some help, the man nearest to me looked at me like I just cursed him out and in a very rude tone told me that he had to get all of the bikes out first (more than fifteen) and that hell help us in a bit. Mind you, there was at least one mechanic there that I could see moving them. I turned on my heel and left, wishing the other man good luck and telling him that he was going to move all of the bikes out first. Firstly, its not my fault that you werent prepared to be open. Secondly, excuse you. Im not one to need to be waited on, but really, youre going to spend another five or ten minutes prioritizing the too many bikes you took in over the couple of people at your counter. Horrible customer service, almost nauseating. Ive never been treated like that for just asking for help. Never going back, and, quite honestly, hope they close shop from what else Ive heard.Went to Seaside Superbikes; got everything I needed from a one man operation.
Great staff!
I feel like I over payed for my motorcycle. I guess its my fault, for not looking around more, but nonetheless, a motorcycle should not be sold above the msrp price.
One of the best local motorcycle place
I’ve been going to these guys for over two years now. I first started going there before I even bought a motorcycle just to get advice on different motorcycles I had in mind. No matter how old the bike was if I asked them about it they would have ether owned one in the past or worked on so many that they could give me the pros and cons about every aspect of the motorcycle. When I finally bought a motorcycle they were the first people I took it to. I told Jeff (the mechanical department supervisor) how I got the bike and what I wanted done to It to make sure it was ok.Although I had an interest in motorcycle for years I really didn’t know how this bike worked, better yet what needed to be maintained. In order to not miss anything I devised a laundry list of things I wanted done to it.When reading this list keep in mind that the bike was only 10 years old and was in mint condition.Tire inspectionReplaced fork sealsReplace fuel linesTighten cam chainsInspect Clutch packChange brake pads and fluid.Etc. . .Now if these people were out to make a buck they would have said “absolutely bring it around back” but instead Jeff looked at me kinda sideways and said “The cam chains are self tightening on that bike right”. Of course they were. Every motorcycle made after the 1960s has spring loaded cam chain auto tightners! I just didn’t know anything at the time. Jeff asked to ride my bike around the lot to see how it performed and how it looked. I said yes and after a 3 minute comprehensive test he said.“The brakes are fine and the pads have about half their life. The brake fluid is dark and should be changed. The forks have no rust or scratches on them and the fork seals are not leaking or rotted so they are fine. The fuel lines are not rotted. The tires should be replaced both front and back but the chain is new and the rear sprocket has plenty of miles left on it. The oil is fine the coolant level is fine the engine performance is normal. And the clutch feels normal but if I was to inspect it you might as well have me replace it because the labor will cost about the same”Jeff did all this for fee without ever writing me a quote! He probably saved me over 1500 dollars is unnecessary maintenance. When I was quoted the service was done expertly by the mechanics they have. Being a mechanic myself for small power tools I know how annoying it is when the customer of the tool you are fixing is standing over your shoulder (not that I was). But the mechanics at power sports are polite and answer all of my questions and suggest improvements that may increase safety as they see them. Like the small recommended improvement of putting a rivet link in my chain in place of the factory “C” clip link since my motorcycle is over 600cc.All in all my experience with powersporsts has been great. There are the only people I take my bike to and there staff is very straight forward and helpful. Best of all they are real you don’t have the suspicion that they are smiling at you one moment to talk about you the next. Keep up the good work guys.
These people are straight LIARS and SCAMMERS. They give you their quotes, and then use the right out of the Nasty Salesman Handbook that is trained to take the pressure off them and back onto you to buy a bike. Theyre horrible. If you know anything at all about buying a bike, travel the extra time to hollister to the honda dealer, or farther. STAY AWAY from these guys, they will only lie and cheat you out of a deal. They even tried to tell me that a 2011CBR was a 2012, they know NOTHING about their bikes, or their business.
While passing thru town on a cross country trip, my clutch cable snapped, leaving me stranded. I called to see if they could help, I was told they had a two week hold time, after further explaing my situation, I was basicly blown off and told to bad.
These guys sell Triumphs but know nothing about them. Huge ego issues and do not represent the brand well.
It went out of business so I hope that someone buys it and reopens it
They have Ducatis. Just dont expect to get a bargain.
As a person myself who has sold cars, this place is terrible. Lies.
Salesmen ignored me as always.
