Today me and my family decided to do the curbside grocery pickup. It was fast, easy, and the lady that did it for us was very sweet. I’m not sure of her name but she made our experience great! It was no contact so we didn’t even have to get out of our car. :)

Excellent customer service from the cashier line 4 today October 9/2021 at 10:50 pm as I was about to checkout they closed the self checkout! I was worried that I may have to deal with rude cashier but to my surprise! He was awesome caring and friendly cashier! The store wasnt crowded and I didnt found what I was looking for (under stocked bakery) but found awesome substitute!

Sick of this store, prices are crazy high with pretty much nothing on the shelves. I dont blame these guys completely but I have seen fuller shelves and lower prices at other places.

Only good thing here is the staff, RITA, Hezbron and the long haired brunette lady!! We are the 2nd to last stop on the delivery route so we get 🗑. Nearly a healthy food desert. Sad that demographics play a role in this. I visit the Safeway in Duvall and they have 3 times the fresh produce and meats, most times way cheaper for the EXACT same products!? PLENTY OF JUNK FOOD HERE THOUGH. This is America 🇺🇸. 😭💔

Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and Reasonably well stocked, though somewhat inconsistently on Diet Dr Pepper. (Probably a supplier issue and not their fault.) Nice floral section!!

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever seen as an EMPLOYEE of the company. If you like to get lied too about your wage. Cheated on your pay and have your PTO/ sick pay stolen!Then this is the place for you! DO NOT work for this location for any reason! Management will cheat you out of your time, work and your paycheck. As a customer I am pretty sure the dollar store has a better selection. If you like getting ripped off, then treatment that prison inmates receive. By all means shop away. But frankly I am positive that any other grocery store could provide you your needs. Without receiving old rotten food, terrible customer service and absolutely no selection of anything. But if you need a 32 dollar chair that will rip through in a day. Or 3 week old berries that are rotten on the shelf. Just ask yourself next time you go in there your thoughts? I am certain you will feel exactly the same way, but you be the judge!

My Large orders with the Deli & Bakery for my moms 80th birthday party was exactly as I ordered them and on time for my puck up! No problems for a busy day!😎

Well-stocked and they actually have a decent amount of cashiers working, unlike Walmart where youll wait 20 minutes because they have one cashier. The area is a little rough and traffic around there is a little difficult, so docking a star for that.

Went to the store tonight at the right time, walked right up to self check out and got spot instantly and was out the door bada-bing-bada-bang,. Bty it was around 9 pm

We were so happy to find a 24 he Safeway not far from our hotel! Needed a few things and this place was open til late at night when most stores are closed. This location had a Wells fargo, flower shop section, a Starbucks with a couple of the been there series mugs, fresh food and fresh baked bread. Really good customer service at that time of the night. 👍🏼

Well I will never go here again, no customer service at all I waited 25 minutes to be even asked if I needed while waiting at the liquor cabinet. A kind supervisor named Catherine finally helped me, but only after I was in the stores 39 minutes to late.

There were 2 cashiers and only 2 self-service stations open, so I picked a cashier lane, as even the self-service had a crazy long line. After several minutes, and I was 3-4 customers away from the cashier station, customers started getting out of line and moving to another.When I got closer, I saw that someone had placed the chip display in front if the station. So the rest of us, including the many customers lined up behind me, had to rush to another long line and start waiting all over again.For the love of God, hire more cashiers. Its Saturday night for Christs sake. Youre going to be busy. I feel bad for the 2 cashiers having to deal with all of those angry people. At the very least, finish the people who had already patiently waiting. We didnt even receive an announcement the line was closing or apology. Customer service used to mean something.

Id actually never been to this particular Safeway. We went for a meat and cheese tray. Plus we picked up a fruit bowl. I picked up a small watermelon bowl and the next day I discovered it was soggy. So either the seal wasnt tight enough or something. But I couldnt take it back because my friend had the receipt. If I would of been at the Rainier Beach location I could of taken it back as Im a regular customer there and Larry the manager is great! Ill check better next time. My fault.

Great local place, between the coupons, the app, in store savings, and the rewards points( you can either redeem for gas or groceries), Its the best place for savings on big brands,food quality and quantity.So the other day with my rewards, my daughter and I ended up with 6fresh bagels, 2 sparkling flavored waters, 1 dozen eggs, all for $2.10....Those rewards rack in.points, especially when they give rewards of 3x-5x the rewards points for certain purchase, or spend a certain amount.....Over a great place and wonderful savings...CHEVRON GAS STATIONS OR SAFEWAY GAS STATIONS YOU CAN REDEEM POINTS UP TO 1.00PER GALLON

This is hands down the worst run Safeway I have ever shopped in. At 10 on a Saturday night, you had only two cashiers with lines that stretched across the store. I waited for almost 35 minutes to be rung out and the entire time there was not a single person on the sales floor and when I tried calling customer service the phone rang for about 5 minutes before I finally gave up. You didnt even have the self check outs open! Completely unacceptable, I am never shopping here again. The Des Moines Safeway is much, MUCH better run. Go there instead.DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Cashier was really polite. Security guard was attentive and watchful, because it was late at night and I was alone. Very neatly organized, easy to find my items, better than I expected.

Well stocked and clean, staff is helpful. Has lots of vegan staples that other stores dont have. And I like their rewards system... also their app lets you in on lots of useful coupons that add up.And lately their receipts give me all the items by category which helps me check everything Is in order.

Not the most PLEASANT experience this time. Were in the midst of a COVID-19 Delta variant infection surge, the mask mandate has been reinstated in Washington State, and about 20% of the customers were unmasked or not wearing their mask properly.

My daughter and I witnessed a supervisor yelling at one of their handicapped employees. Thats disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I love this Safeway as it’s my closest store to me and I have lived in this neighborhood for years.The only complaint I would have is the customers who steal and are jerks all the time.Other than that, I have to say Rita and Katherine are employees who are always super nice and helpful and make me feel welcome every time I stop in.

Great place to shop with my family. Information tonight wasent so great. Some guy tried to pick pocket me while I was looking at Easter stuff with my step daughter. Then some guy who didn’t work for Safeway was hovering around one of the check stands using the hand sanitizer staring at me. Gonna be watching next time I go back to go grocery shopping.

Always my go to for shoppingEdit: this is my normal Safeway an I enjoy shopping here an still do. I just upset with the deli an the serving. I used to get it a lot but now rarely. I got the sweet an sour chicken an a couple of times have bit into bones. Which after the second time I said something the clerk an she showed me the bag that said boneless. Not sure how it happened. Other than that, the size of the pieces of sweet an sour chicken is huge. Wouldnt be a problem if it wasnt just bread with a little piece of chicken. Wish they could fix that, would be nice.

I was doing early morning shopping and wanted to purchase some fresh crab and salmon from the Seafood counter but they were closed. There was a young lady in back working in the department. When I asked her what time they opened she told me 9:00 but she could help me. She did just that,she cleaned my 🦀 and weighed up my salmon! I even received service with a smile, which is very rare these days.

My local grocery. Covid-responsible with all staff masked, barriers at checkout, hand sanitizer at the entrances. Sometimes stock can be hit-and-miss, but thats a reflection of pandemic effects on supply chains, rather than a failure of the store or employees.

Our favorite safeway! We have been coming here for years and the employees are all above and beyond. Great selection and even when its busy I can get in and out pretty quickly. Extra thanks to Rita with the blonde hair. She is always rocking self checkout with a huge grin and the best attitude

This Safeway is a bit expensive compared to other nearby grocery stores. A bit unkempt but nothing terrible, employees generally seem uninterested, but that is the norm for people working in retail. Only major complaint is that lines have always been long when I shop there. They have electric car charging stations which is always good to see.

If u shop at night .. Just be aware of your surroundings even with new brighter LED parking lot lights ..alot of wildlife just hanging around

We bought some shrimps and didnt use the digital coupons. Then we showed the receipt to the guy at Customer Service to get the difference. He at first wanted us to bring shrimp back. When we came back with the shrimps, he told us they couldnt take back on seafood! This is totally a scam as I later checked online about Safeway return policy which can refund on meat, produce, etc. We should stay away from this store, and that guy should be fired! Certainly he has been losing customers from going to this store.

Bought a 3 pack of T-Bone steaks that were on sale. When we got home we noticed 2 out of 3 had unnatural purple coloring. We immediately brought them back in package with receipt. Customer service said they cant accept returns on meat during covid. Not sure why they wouldnt just throw it away in the condition it was in. We showed them the purple color on the meat and they brought us back to deli. The deli said it could be from oxidation from stacking the meat on top of each other. When we showed him the pictures and the meat, he said oh. We got our money back, but we shouldnt have had to fight that hard for it. We come here regularly, but not anymore.

I love this store, you get everything from grocerys to alcohol. Getting most of your shopping done and saves you time.

Safeway management doesnt seem to care about keeping customers safe from COVID-19. They dont sanitize shopping carts and sometimes the bottle of disinfectant by the door has been empty! Ive never seen a cashier wipe down their conveyor belt or payment terminal like they do in other stores. Theres a high turnover rate with the staff and I feel sorry for some of the nice employes who put themselves at risk by working here.Be careful when buying meat! Several times Ive picked up ground or sliced meat and it has been expired! This store overall is poorly managed, the people of this community deserve better.

During the stay at home order I went to this Safeway as our normal store was missing some key ingredients. They were better stocked and had a wider selection of healthier options(reduced fat, nonfat etc) of items I was purchasing. What blew me away was how they were cleaning the self checkout areas after each customer! For comparison, the other store I had just came from did not provide this level of service and I saw no active cleaning from any worker there. Im willing to pay a higher price for that level of security during these times.

Public restroom, wheelchair accessible,for restroom,aisles,and parking, organics,vegan,ethnic,from grits to basmati rice and in-between,fresh produce,meat,seafood,bakery, and in house starbucks, with drivable carts for those with mobility challenges, and great floral dept! If you need a quick gift or arrangements.

Bought burger patties, beef was great and all but found a piece of plastic in one of the patties.

Clean establishment, no vagrants or intoxicated people. Lines were 5 people long, but moved quickly. Get for quick stops, bring a mask.

The pharmacy had 3 people behind the counter 1 wore her mask properly, 1 had mask pulled down and one wore no mask at all! On a recent trip to the deli a woman with no mask or gloves stopped sweeping to wait on me. She just set the broom aside w/out washing or gloving up. I have low standards but I know gloves are absolutely required by the food service industry while food is being prepared or dished up.

This is a great store in a great location serving the surrounding neighborhoods and providing quality jobs and customer experiences and has great Bakery and cake making. Try the non-dairy whip topping instead of traditional frosting on your next birthday cake. Great!
