My experience here was not great. The woman who worked with us was very nice and comfortable to be around but she didn’t offer us anything, like even water, which I found is normal at other places some even offering specialty drinks. She had no care for my budget and was putting me in dresses twice my budget. The selection you can look through as a bride is mediocre and most of their dresses are in the back of the store. There is also no natural light in the fitting area so all of my pictures of the dresses turned out dark and dimly lit. I think you can get much better service and selection at different shops.
Megan has absolutely gave me the best wedding dress shopping experience ever. She not only helped me find the perfect wedding dress, but was there for me from start to finish. She was there for me for all the alterations and made sure the dress is perfect for me on the wedding day. I was indecisive about the alterations and she was so patient with me. Julia, the seamstress was also incredible and so patient. I have been in for a total of 4 fittings and I couldn’t have asked for me perfect experience. Will miss visiting the wedding suite!
Great experience and Megan went above and beyond to make my first experience trying on dresses fantastic and informative. They only have a small selection to browse but many options in the back stock room and Megan was quick and knowledgeable to bring me lots of options and styles to try that all fit my vision.
The selection is great! Taylor did an amazing job of finding dresses to match my style. She was a delight to work with. The bridal suite itself was very large and comfortable. The entire experience was very relaxed and fun. I would highly recommend Nordstrom for anyone buying a wedding dress.
Loved it better than regular bridal store I visited same day. My consultant brought me exactly what I wanted, was nice, friendly and not pushy at all. We were done in 30 minutes! It was straight to the point, I enjoyed the experience.
Justin V. was just simply fabulous! He helped me find the perfect dress and shoes for my black tie event. He was very knowledgeable about the product in the special occasion part of the wedding suite. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Will be going to him for help in styling me for my next event!!!!
Nila helped me find the PERFECT gown!!!! She was the absolute best - made me feel so pretty. I felt no pressure the whole appointment... and she was the sweetest most helpful person!
There are so many wonderful wedding dress places in this area - after my experience at Nordstroms Id advise you to go elsewhere for sure.
My daughter had a beautiful designer dress size 4 altered to a size 00/0 . The dress was a mess! Altered to small in waist zipper replaced twice, sticking marks when altered after mistake showed, ruined the very important waist feature. A very big mistake made by alterations. Very disappointing handling byDepartment Manager. I am a veteran NORDSTROM shopper Icon status. Very disappointed!
They were AMAZING! Made me feel totally comfortable and made what couldve been a very stressful process a breeze. They definitely went above and beyond and Im so thankful! I would highly recommend.
Vanessa was so amazing from start to finish. She took all the time I needed to find the perfect dress and she managed to do it all with a rushed schedule on my end. The alterations were amazing and everything looked phenomenal!
I purchased my dress in January from Nordstrom, after a disaster of an experience from another salon, thinking that I would be paying more but receiving exceptional service and a low-stress process. It was exactly the opposite of low-stress and exceptional. My original stylist gave me false promises on the dress I purchased (alterations, cost, etc), then was fired, and Nordstrom never followed up with me to deliver my dress. Come 3 months before my wedding, I had to follow up with the salon after my emails and calls were never returned from my original stylist. After leaving multiple messages on the Nordstrom Bridal Suite answering machine (since the phone is rarely answered), I received a message from a stylist saying they wanted me to come in as they couldnt locate my dress. They eventually found my dress but informed me that I would need to pay an additional $1500 for alterations (previously quoted $250). Multiple managers were involved, as many of them were taking vacations around this time, and the continuity of customer service was extremely lacking.Long story short, the gown I originally purchased had to be returned and I ENDED UP HAVING TO PURCHASE A NEW DRESS ONE MONTH BEFORE MY WEDDING (a size 10 sample that I was charged full price for and needed to be altered down to a size 2-4...). I had about half an hour to make a decision on a sample gown they had in the salon within my budget. The salon justified the price saying that they never sell sample gowns; yet, two weeks after purchasing the second gown, the Sample Sale was going on.I hoped Nordstrom would rectify the situation after a letter I wrote to multiple departments, customer service managers, and the general Customer Care email listed on the website. I recommended improving communication of the wedding suite, whether it be adding a full time receptionist to the wedding suite or having automated email responses from employees who are no longer with the company, in addition to improving clarity of alterations and pricing. Three attempts later and two months after my wedding, I havent received one response. If it were any other garment, it wouldnt have been such a big deal. But with the emotional tie to a wedding gown, this experience was immensely frustrating and uncharacteristic of the type of Nordstrom service you pay for. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere.
I came in with a generous budget and a good idea of what I wanted, although I was totally open to stylist input (part of the fun). The first stylist was lovely but brand new, and so I tried a few dresses and made another appointment for choosing the dress. This time, I had an experienced stylist, but she was not helpful at all. I explained what I was looking for (a certain type of skirt) and she told me they didnt have it. I had JUST seen it out on the rack and asked politely if I could try it. She said show me in kind of an aggressive manner and actually made me get dressed and walk out of the room to show her. I just felt that she wasnt listening to my input and seemed sort of snobbish. I left without a dress, went to a different salon and found the one the next day. I love Nordstrom for EVERYTHING else, but definitely would not recommend their bridal suite.
They saw us 20 minutes late. NO apologies. Shoved my sister, the bride and her four guests into a corner fitting room against a door where we had to move every few minutes because people were walking in and out. I kindly asked if we could sit in a spot with a couch since we had a group and a pre scheduled appointment, no to mention THREE couch and mirror spots where wide open the lady “helping” us kind of just huffed and said well I’ll have to check first and see if there is a bigger Group coming first.Do not recommend coming here in the least.
I came in today to look at dresses and set up an appointment. Two employees were chatting at the reception, completely ignored me, and helped the next two women who wandered in. I can only assume its because I dont dress like Im wealthy, and will be taking my business elsewhere.
Very nice place to visit. Awesome collections.
I sat waiting for my appointment while my stylist stood feet away not even looking for me. She later promised to follow up by email on two dresses I asked about, but its been weeks and I havent heard from her. Terrible service. Not at all helpful. Would not recommend.
Great service and great selection.
