Overall each dish was seasoned well and was cooked just right! The must tries would be the crispy pork and the dumplings!

Really good dim sum!! Great portions, great prices and great selection. Would recommend coming early (around 10am) if you don’t want to wait for a table on the weekend as it gets pretty busy. Otherwise, very yummy dim sum and also the green beans were delicious!

No frills dim sum place in Seattle. Definitely recommend if you have a big appetite for dim sum and looking for a place that offers authentic Chinese cuisine. Ordered several items from the menu but absolutely liked their shumai, shrimp dumplings and fried rice. The staff is also a bit more hospitable than your average Chinese restaurant. They even had us try their freshly baked custard cake. Highly recommend if youre in town as the food is great and prices are reasonable.

Authentic Asian cuisine and were delighted to find this place! Staff was clearly being very careful about safety, but friendly and welcoming, too. We loaded up on Dim Sum, especially enjoyed shrimp dumplings, sweet & sour prawns, egg rolls, and even had Peking duck. Food was all well prepared served steaming, and we brought home leftovers!

This was the first time I came here for dinner and I was surprised by how empty it can be in the late evenings but there is zero compromise on food. We ordered a table full of food and everything was delicious.Whe ordered Egg & scallions fried rice, chicken & fish fried rice, Kung pao chicken, stir fried green beans, egg rolls, pan fried chives shrimp cakes, steamed BBQ pork buns, steamed chicken buns, steamed shrimp dumpling with carrot & green peas, pan fried tofu with shrimp, roasted pork.I would still prefer coming earlier during the day when they have the steam carts, with different dimsums, dumplings and steamed buns, serving fresh and hot going one table to the another.

Best dim sum restaurants in Chinatown! I ordered their scallop dumplings, shrimp and chive dumpling, steamed lotus buns, shrimp dumplings with carrot and green peas and wow these all tasted amazing! Such creative steamed dumplings that other dim sum spots lack!Also ordered their Peking duck and its the cheapest around $17 for half and comes with 5 steamed bread. Im not an expert on Peking duck but it was good to me.Also ordered sticky fried rice, beef chow fun, and ginger scallion fish. The sticky fried rice was my favorite and so affordable! The beef chow fun was alright, needed more flavor. Same goes for the fish but overall a delicious meal!

The food was very delicious and our waitress was kind and very professional. The wait time wasn’t too long, we left with our bellies happy and full!

Ive picked up here quite often for a food delivery service I drive for and finally decided to try it out. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp w/ rice and shrimp fried egg rolls, all I can say is WOW why havent I come here earlier! The shrimp egg rolls are amazing with good size shrimp and fried with a flakey/ crunchy texture- this is the way I like them. Walnut shrimp cooked perfectly with great sauce amount on them. Coming back for sure!

The portion and seafood/meat that I received were extremely generous. Everything was fresh, delicious, cheap, and honestly the best dim sum I ever had.

One of my faves places to eat when I visited Seattle. They are known for their Dim Sum but make sure to try their other dishes. Reasonable price and good serving size. Definitely try the HK Sampan Style Congee and Daikon Cakes. Cant go wrong with Chicken Feet and their variety of dumplings. Due to covid, you place your order online and they bring you the food. You can even pay your bill online as well.

This restaurant has such a warm, friendly atmosphere they are really practicing safety during this time. They take temperatures at the door and everyone is seated far apart and they still make you feel at home. And the food is amazing! Its delicious and very rarely can you find such high quality at such good prices. I cant thank the staff enough for the excellent service

They don’t do the cart right now due to covid but their menu is with QR code and you can order online for dine in and pay with cards or cash as you are leaving. Menu is with pictures, so it is easy to order :) their Dim Sum is soooo delicious!!

I used to love the dim sum it was really good every time we came here. My boyfriend and I however tried dining here tonight and I’m not one to complain but I just can’t eat at a place where a BABY COCKROACH ran across my table. Suggests the fact there are DEFINITELY more and very young so they’re breeding like wildfire. Nope! Super gross.

So yummy! We got to experience new flavors weve never had before. Shrimp worth cilantro dumplings, honey shrimp with walnuts, and scallops with mushrooms. Service was excellent and friendly.

Parking is kind of ridiculous, no wait time, clean tables/restaurant, and the food was excellent. Just hated looking at a menu on my phone after scanning a deal on the wall and my waiter never checking on us. I mean our order came up fast, we were served by someone else, and it seemed like after flagging another employee down for a to go box our server magically showed up long enough to provide a smile and our bill with suggested tip amounts (in inaccurate percentages/amounts to the houses favor by 3%). Id eat here again for sure though.

Best Dim Sum I’ve had outside of Hong Kong. They’ve got a gigantic menu, although I’ve only tried the dim sum and vegetables section. Highly recommend the egg custard although I think it’s usually gone by dinner time. Also worth noting they give a 10% discount on takeout orders over $50.

I went there on Friday night, the service didn’t exist here in this place. We had to figure out everything on our own ( put our name on the list and waited for the name to be called). The online ordering system is easy and efficient, but the food is JUST Average, not fresh at all. And the overall cleanliness of this place is concerning… it’s kind of a gross place I personally would not come back.

Staff was very friendly. The food was a little slow to come out, but was very well prepared and at a reasonable price. I enjoyed my time a lot and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Walked in to order some food. Waited for a while before I was even addressed. Definitely not welcoming. I asked if I can order some food to go since I was already there. To be greater with you can go online. Im not sure why I couldnt order food inside and wait or even just order and walk outside a bit but their loss not mine. I should have went to KauKaus. Ill know better next time.

Order from your phone. Scan a QR code when you are seated. We didnt know, and ended up getting our food pretty late after watching someone else do it. The waiter didnt speak English and pointed to code on wall. I thought he was just pointing to the code for the online menu. In their defense it does say to order online, but I didnt know how true that statement was. The online menu does have an add to cart button, but the site itself wasnt too intuitive.Food was pretty good. We ordered the usual dim sum and some full dishes as well.3 stars was for cleanliness. With that said, yes I can look past it all and still eat a meal.Overall, Id go back. :)

As a guy who grew up on frickin good dim sum, Harbor City hits close to my heart. A pandemic favorite because of the cheap plates and ease of take-out for steamed dishes, Harbor City blows it out of the water with flavorful and authentic dumplings of all stripes and excellent Chinese fair thats (just) accessible without feeling pandered to. Ive yet to go for lunch, though I have high hopes, but on the occasions that I throw down for dinner and drive over to pick it up I find myself with more than a few meals of delicious dumplings and high quality Chinese fair for what I consider a standard-delivery-dinner price.Never change, Harbor City.

Little strange, they have you login and order on line with online menu. They dont give you a menu. Easy to over order but foods great so all worked out. BBQ duck and pork also is available to go by the pound.

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is quick! The only downside is that their waitlist system is just people writing their names on paper, so mistakes are easy to make. They ended up seating 2-3 parties ahead of us that actually came in after we did and we had to tell them that they missed three parties on the sign up sheet. Otherwise, the place is great and we will be returning!

If you go into the back and see/smell the filth, you will not want to eat here. They have the dirtiest bathrooms Ive ever seen in a restaurant. That said, this is the best dim sum in Seattle, so if you want great food, order takeout.

Lets be real, Chinatown is not the cleanest place around. But thats ok, because the best restaurants arent always ones with white table clothes and great service so you put up with it.But Harbor City isnt one of those places thats worth it.They dont tell you you need to scan the QR code to order your food. If you dont notice the tiny sticker on the wall, youll just sit there waiting which I saw other tables doing.I found a cockroach leg in my water. Damn, I know what Im getting when I go to Chinatown but a whole cockroach leg in the water is not normal.Food came and was not warm or fresh. Our dim sum items felt like they were left out on a table sitting for a long time.Jade Garden and Honey Court are 1-2 blocks away. Go there instead. Even Dim Sum King is better.

As a Chinese American who is familiar with how NYC Chinese restaurants, I was surprised at the poor service at this facility. We walked in and wrote our own names on a notepad with our party name and number of people (party of two). After getting our table we just sat after looking at the menu. After asking about placing our order our server (she wasnt helpful so itd hard to call her our server) told us to place the order online. I filled in the required boxes and it said Dine-in and listed our correct table number. I later told the server to check if our order was received and all she said was ok and didnt go to a computer to check. A table who was sat after us received their food so we asked about our food that didnt come yet at the front. I was then told that our food was actually placed for pick up and the male manager/employee said hell get it fixed so its dine in. I go back 10 minutes later to check and he says the food was waiting up front?!? and he comes over and drops the bag of food on our table and unpacks it. My friend was robbed of the authentic Chinese dim sum experience. I dont understand how non-Asian Americans can have decent service at this restaurant if I had a difficult time! Food was decent (fried taro, taro buns, pork buns, sesame balls) but was ultimately ruined by the experience.

Really terrible. No service at all, got our order wrong. They brought my dim sum, and I ate, but my husband never got his order. My shrimp dumplings were cold. They never brought my soup. We left and got great food and service at another place.

What I look for when trying dimsum places is (1) whether they have a line waiting to get a table and (2) who are in line. This place did have a line and had multi-generation families waiting to get in. This for me is a good sign. The wait wasn’t that bad considering it was saturday brunch. Ordering was somewhat complicated as it had to be done through an app. Gone where the days you can just look and point to what you want but hey…I will take what I can get. Food was good and the servers were friendly despite being so busy. Will definitely try again if I find myself in Seattle.

This is my favorite Dim Sum restaurant. We drive down from Everett to eat here and we really missed this during the pandemic closures. The inside dinning is safe space distance, the food is still great and you will have to wait in line for a table. I LOVE that they add QR Code Target at each table for placing the order and seeing a picture of each item. Im not Chinese so having the pictures is a GREAT HELP. As always, Ill return for more eating pleasures. Thanks for making the improvements.

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Incredible made to order dim sum at all times. I highly recommend the deep friend shrimp ball with cheese and the scallop dumplings, but everything I’ve ever had here is delicious.

I usually dont like giving a bad review but this place grosses me out. My friends and I love coming here and Jade Garden for dim sum. Last Sunday we were there for dim sum and like usual the food is tasty but then suddenly a cockroach was running all over my plate and table. My friend killed it but geez makes me question how clean is their kitchen. I should have taken pics unfortunately I got sidetracked. Giving them 1 star because the food is pretty good other than that everything is below average.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel one is necessary for Harbor City. If you looked at harbor city from outside you may think it’s a pass because it’s not the cleanest. You would be wrong. It is easily my favorite dim sum restaurant in the city. You can taste the love and effort in the food, and they have all the classics! Very popular Chinese restaurant. I went there mid day so I got seating right away. A lot of menu selection to choose from and everything looked so good. Luckily, my friend knew this restaurant very well, she recommended some great dishes. Everything was good including the service. Street parking only. Good for groups, family, everyone.

Food was good, but not great. Staff was quick and attentive. Spent time as a out of town guest with in town relative. It was one of his go to spots.

Came in on a busy Saturday and had to write my name and party number on a notebook and was told it was going to be 45 minute wait so we waited outside for about 40 minutes and kept seeing other parties and people go in before me even though my party had been there first I tried asking the staff about why they got to go ahead and how long it would be and was ignored or just told “a few more tables”, an hour passed and I asked the same waiter how much longer it would be and was told 45 minutes and when I tried to explain that we have already been here an hour she walked off. Overall I’ve eaten here before and they do have good food however after my recent experience with the service there I will not be returning, the entire waiting system with the notebook is super chaotic and confusing for both the staff and the customers.

We stopped in after a day of sightseeing and this place did not disappoint! Every dish we tried was a hit with the entire table. We got Orange Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Soy Chow Mein, Pot Stickers, BBQ Pork Buns, Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce, and Shrimp Dumplings. Well definitely go here again next time were in Seattle!

Been here twice, the first time in Nov 2020 everything was super fresh and tasty, second time in Aug 2021 many dishes from the dim sum menu were not fresh and some were not enough reheated.The service was good, but it may have been because we were speaking their native language.

I’m surprised I haven’t written a review for Harbor City because I think they have some the best dim sum in Seattle. Most recently I visited on a Monday morning after ordering online. It was really easy to order some dim sum from their online ordering website. It made it really simple to just show up and give my name. It did take them a little longer than the 20 minutes they quoted, but I think it’s because they did not have many orders yet and had to make a bunch of stuff fresh. I ordered har gow, char siu bao, gai bao, egg tarts, eggplant with fried shrimp, and turnip cakes. Everything was fresh and tasted great. They provided the sauce for the eggplant with fried shrimp on the side as well so the shrimp wouldn’t get soggy. I recommend Harbor City without reservations for dim sum.

Our meal was quite good. My 83 YO mother, who isnt a fan of foreign food, couldnt stop talking about how good it was.One downside was that they want you to order via an app. Im not sure what the point of that is. And it was really loud.

One of my favorite dim sum/chinese places. Their menu is absolutely massive. For example they have about 5 to 10 different types of fried rice alone! Many vegertarian entrees in addition to congee, hot pot, dim sum, chinese, szechuan, fish etc. I am never disappointed going there! When you dine in, you get a nice hot pot of tea, whoch is wonderful in Seattpe winters.

Having a good authentic dim sum experience during the pandemic is tough but Im glad that in regards to taste this place is still up there in quality. It has a family owned atmosphere that I cant find elsewhere. Will return again!

Beware! First time ever visiting this place and will never go back. The food was meh at best and the servers really didn’t seem to care about anything other than making their hourly. The worst part was a COCKROACH LANDING ON OUR TABLE FROM THE WAITRESS’S TRAY. The way they acted to the sight of it showed how common it was. Immediately lost our appetite and left (they didn’t even bother to do anything about the pest).

Is the service lacking - yes! Could the place do with a paint job - yes?! But you know what - who cares when the dumplings are this fresh, the wings so tasty and the chicken feet cooked to perfection! Even better, four plates only cost me just under $20! There wasn’t much range but I didn’t care for the quality served

Harbor City was our favorite place to eat Dim Sum. We ordered takeout $70 worth this weekend and had to throw everything out after finding roaches in the congee. I went through reviews and it sounds like they have a roach infestation currently.

Great dim sum spot! So much so that we came here twice on our trip. Service is slow though, so just be sure youre not in a rush to get anywhere. On our first visit, we came on a Sunday at 9 and it was still pretty empty. We ordered the usual suspects - shumai, shrimp dumplings (my fiancé said it might be the best ha gow hes eaten because of how thin and smooth, yet sturdy the ha gow skin was and Im inclined to agree), steamed spare ribs, chicken rice, beef rice rolls, and egg tarts. We had to ask for the beef rice rolls several times before we actually got them but it was worth the wait. The rolls are plump with beef. Actually, most of the dim sum pieces are a nice size (at least compared to the ones in NYC).Our second visit was on a Tuesday morning when we made a quick stop here before our flight home. We ordered some of the same dim sum again, and we ordered a sesame chicken and Amoy style rice noodles to go, so that we’d have lunch on the plane. We ate it a few hours later but it was still good. And the portions were HUGE. At least the noodles. We had enough for dinner too. My only gripe was the slow service situation. We ordered the to-go dishes as soon as we sat down so that it would be ready by the time we were done eating. But they didn’t even start making it until we asked how much longer it would be. We still made it to the airport with time to spare at the lounge, but still. Like I said, if you do decide to come here, just make sure you ain’t got nowhere else to be afterwards.

The best dim sum going!! I didnt realize Harbor City was open for dim sum so early, but at 8:30 AM I was enjoying my favorite sticky rice, steamed dumplings and baked barbeque buns. I also ordered the steamed scallop dumplings that were simply amazing!!The staff are a little on the short side when it comes to conversation, but they are about the business of getting the dim sum carts around.The dim sum service consists of a steamed cart, a fried cart and pastry type cart as well as the ability to order from the menu. Another dim sum option is the sticky fried rice that is very tasty!The food is right, the price is right, the place is right!Another one of my definite go to spots!

Easily the best dim sum restaurant in the International District and even possibly Seattle. Just walking around the area you notice that there are other dim sum restaurants however this was only one that was beyond packed where the wait was quite a while so I knew I had to go eat here. I did not regret the food it was very fresh and I love the push carts and how it brings back childhood memories

5 stars to Chef Ming!!! Har Gaw (shrimp dumplings) was excellent and very close in quality to dim sum places in Hong Kong. I wasnt expecting much from the siu mai (pork dumplings) given pork in the US is not as fresh and tasty as in Asia but was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Beef noodles was not greasy and my kids loved it. This place is 1000x better than Din Tai Fung in U-Village and Bellevue. Service is also very good.

The food was not the greatest and not many beverage options. Went with my husband & 5 year old son & they only had soda as non-alcoholic drink option. All the entrees & fried rice ordered was just okay, definitely could do better. The soup we ordered (Egg Flower Chicken Soup) was not impressive at all, Ive had better at Asian buffets. The dim sum (which was the biggest reason we went here; it was late and other dim sum restaurants were closing already) was probably the best thing there, but you could definitely get better dim sum at other places. The service was decent, we had kind servers not really much complaint there.

I dont know if its the best dim sum in Seattle, but its my favorite. Ive been coming here for years, and Im thrilled that they have maintained the same type of quality from when I started coming to now. Still very reasonably priced, there were four of us and we more than filled our table with plates and it came to around $80 after tip. Some of the best dishes, include anything with shrimp, the taro, and the pork buns. Definitely recommend

Great dim sum food. Wait was surprisingly fast for 6 people in the middle of a Saturday lunch (about 10ish minutes). Bill came to about $17 after tax and tips, and it was for a lot of food. Old school dim sum cart style. Will come again.

Walking in i got the impression that the place would have some okay food. After getting all my food i was astonished by how amazing the food tasted. I would definitely come back. One thing that might bother some people is that they bring out your food when it is done. So if one thing is done they will bring that out and then bring out the next. At least for my first time thats how it went. Didnt bother me though they come out in a good time.

Um. Food was ok but I miss the cleanliness of Japan. While I was waiting for the bathroom, I peeked inside and watched one of the kitchen staff dropped some food on the floor. She picked it up and placed it right back on the plate. Lost my appetite. I paid and left, was not even worth complaining because I did not want to be late for an appointment.

Really good dim sum. Was only supposed to come once on my trip but ended up going back again because it was really good. The first time I went on a weekend and I had to wait 40 minutes for a table. The second time I went was on a Tuesday and I was seated immediately, so try to go on a weekday.

Favorite dimsum in Seattle. Theres always a line outside to get in but worth the wait. Food is delicious. The staff, the servers and everyone that works there are amazing. We love this place, even if our drive is an hour away, one way. So worth it.

I like the part of ordering the food via QR code. It makes the service extremely efficient and fast. The waiting part may be a pain during the peak times but the food was really well worth the wait.

I will say the food here is great, fantastic place to eat some dim sum with friends and family. It is not the fanciest place around and service can sometimes be a bit on the slow side, but the food is definitely worth it, and their prices are really low!

We ordered delivery today - it was a large order. They did a fantastic job, everything was piping hot. They even gave us the delivery crate all the food came in. This was for my birthday, I haven’t had dim sum in months and it really hit the spot. I would totally recommend their take out for anyone missing dim sum.

We ordered marinate combo (roasted pork, duck, crispy roasted pork belly) and understand why the restaurant was packed on early Saturaday morning. The crispy pork belly did not feel greasy and it melt in the mouth.
