Been here over the years and its gone nothing but downhill. Prices change almost every time I walk in. It used to be $20 for an all day pass, or just $5 per hour. Then $25 all day pass. Now no all day pass but $7 an hour for the better pcs, $25 for all day on the old pcs. Which, as other users mention, barely work these days at all. I had to switch computers 3 times to get one that would work with a headset. The windows 7 install they have is illegal and the sound files are missing or corrupted in a few machines. Most the time was spent installing drivers, fixing their computers. I should have gotten paid just for everything I had to do in order to restore the computers to working condition to play some games.

Nice place, has everything you need to just sit and play. The drinks might be overpriced but what else would you expect. Chill environment and clean. Would recommend bringing own headset if not too much of a hassle to do so but otherwise Im definitely coming back!

Perfect location! Many restaurants, and a 7- eleven nearby. A reasonable price; $4 per hour. Always clean, and quite depending on the day of the week. Just pay after youre finished.

I was a bit curious to check this place out. I accidentally walked into the wrong store at first which is actually a games store but the cashier of that store guided me in the right direction. Its a little confusing but its next door to the shop and you have to go up the stairs and take a right to get there. The rules were a lot simpler than I thought. Basically $6 for an hour and $20 for an all day pass. Sat down, turned on the computer, and logged into Steam. At first I was a little skeptical about keeping my account on the PC, but then I found out every time the PC restarts it wipes all the previous users account(s) and starts fresh for the next person to use. Now the game I really wanted to play was a game that requires a separate launcher, so I went to download the launcher and it required the PC to restart, so I restarted the PC and like I said before it wiped all the accounts and such as if nothing happened. So I just stuck to the games on steam, and played for about 2 hours. During my 2 hours there were a group of guys playing CS and they were pretty wild. I didnt mind it, personally I found it pretty funny when they were speaking their native language and giving call outs along with some cheering and rage moments. I saw a lot of the reviews regarding the smell, personally thats another thing I dont mind. Im used to a lot of Asian establishments smelling like that, I believe its incense although some reviews suggest its actual smoking products. Overall, I was particularly pleased only downside being that I couldnt play my precious Escape From Tarkov because it required a separate launcher that couldnt have been downloaded. But I played other games to pass the time. I left that night being charged $8 for 2 hours and left a $2 tip. Also left that night with a $58 parking ticket. Word to the wise, dont parallel park on the curb outside this establishment, parking signs are very deceiving and contradicting. 4/5 would go again, but please, let me download my games launcher next time.

Good machines and really good prices. I had been planing to go here for awhile, and in the end I really wanted to go. No the experience was great actually. It just that it was only when I got here that I realized how much of an introvert I am. It was only when I sat at the computer screen that it all melted away and I could enjoy myself. To top that off, for 4$ an our my brother and I could play games we had only dreamed of playing before at good frame-rates and better settings: for 3 hours. I hope that this business does well and more so I hope this sort of business in general will come back to grow and prosper.

It’s a decent gaming cafe but the prices are pretty steep and the cheaper 3/h computers didn’t startup for me at all and i couldn’t load into the dota2 client. I switched over to the 6/h computers and the first computer i switched to had a keyboard that was unstable and shakey so i had to switch to another one again. I ended up staying for the entire day since it made more sense value wise to pay 30 for 10 hours. It also doesn’t operate 24 hours which seems to be weird considering most gaming cafes operate round the clock.I would say it’s a good place if you’re dropping by and need a quick fix for your games but other than that i doubt i’d be coming back.

Hardly any women gamers. Staff usually treat me like I don’t know what tf I’m doing, which is irritating. Pricing and PCs are good. Lots of toxic players come here (I know this cause most don’t censor themselves).

Great buy for $20.00 u can game on higher end machines. Of u want a place to get away and chill and game for 12 hours s-thur. Fri-sat. 14 hours. But be ready for the city parking fees.of up to 20.00 depending on where u park. U can eat down stairs at a ton of places. But royal does offer snacks.and cold drinks. Wallgreens is across the street. So come game here and possibly find a fellow player of your game to team with!

Great experience. If a game isnt already downloaded youre allowed to login into your steam to download it. They have GTX 1070s and 144hz monitors so the gaming is top notch. Guy working there was cool and helped me get set up my first time. Will be back for sure.

Besides the fact that the worker here smokes and there is no door to the main area from where he smokes so everyone has to inhale his second hand smoke where the signs say NO SMOKING, there is a lot of problems with this place. So I spent 54 minutes and 23 seconds trying to get my PC to work because it was having issues. They use windows 7 and the screens constantly flicker on and off which can be a huge issue when playing a real time strategy game (RTS). Not only that, but the game clients are not updated so you spend about another 23 minutes and 17 seconds waiting for it to update. Now besides the fact I had to wait about an hour and a half for my pc to even begin my game, I had to go to another computer because my screen blacked out and would not work. The whole time the guy is trying to charge me for the time spent trying to get the pc to work in the first place saying that each pc I build more than $3,000, pc no broken no wrong we make here implying that their pcs were not at fault.TLDR: worker smokes in the non-smoking area, pcs running windows 7 take longer than 1.5 hours to just get the game working and they attempt to charge you for it and are buggy, do not go here.

I have not played PC games in many years and i have not had a gaming PC or Laptop for just as long. (Duh) When i first came in i felt a little stupid since i had no idea what steam was or how to go about geting started. But i managed to do so and enjoy this little slice of gaming get away from my everyday life heaven. Amazing internet connection, perfect gaming Pcs, great atmosphere and perfect prices on pops, snacks and of course game time. With its $4 a hour or $20 the whole day i dont see how they manage to stay open. I always tip $3-$5. You should to (If able) also if you want to try this place out but a bit nervous message me and i roll up with you and show you the ropes.

I have been here a few times now and it is really cool. Clean and comfortable. The machines are high end and run my Overwatch at an unwavering 70fps cap. The internet is the fastest Ive come across in the Seattle area. No lag, no disconnects...just high performance, high speed fun. The patrons are friendly and speak mostly ESL. They are playing Dota 2, CS:GO, and more in small groups of 3 - 5. I come by myself and they invited me to play. Overall, one of the best experiences for gaming possible. The most fun a bachlor can have for $4/hr. $20 day pass and open 2pm - 2am is perfect hours. Open until 4am on weekends for extra fun. Even if you have a nice computer and internet at home, you have to get down here and give it a try. Bring a couple friends too!

I really liked this place. I was walking by at nine or ten in the evening with nothing else to do when I noticed the sign for an internet cafe. I decided to go head upstairs and check it out. Im glad I did.One thing I liked - it didnt feel like some soulless corporate place. When I walked in, the employee was playing LoL (maybe DOTA), and I had to wait a few minutes for him to die to get helped. Was it disrespectful? Yeah, a bit, but I wasnt in any hurry. It also called to mind a freer spirit. This guy wasnt a slave to the man, yknow? Besides, maybe that game was important. Maybe it was ranked, I dont know. When I did get helped, the instructions were simple. Cheap rate, no obvious annoying software restricting me. I downloaded and played my game of choice - Factorio. I dont recall the system specs, but the machine seemed nice enough. After a couple hours, I logged off and got up to leave. The employee at the front asked me how long Id been there and then did some mental math to figure out what I owed him. Six bucks he said, Okay I answered, No, eight.

Royal Gaming Cafe is a pretty awesome gaming center. Their equipment runs most games on high and their facilities are pretty clean and homey. The owner is also pretty relaxed and friendly. I would definitely suggest this place to friends. In more detail: They have most popular multiplayer games like LoL, Overwatch, CS:GO, and WoW. But they also have a solid internet connection (about 150 mbps), so I was able to download any of the games they did not have quickly. The rates were pretty fair at 4$/hr or 20$ for the whole day.Their headsets are pretty hit or miss and the players get loud if they are playing together. But thats to be expected. The parking situation is awkward though, as you can either try to park on the street or in one of the pay lots nearby.Oh, also if you are having trouble finding it. There is a staircase next to pink gorilla that leads upstairs to a museum of sorts. They are upstairs on the right.
