We were not sure whether to upgrade or repair the existing opener system. I honestly do not understand where all these amazing reviews are coming from. They scheduled me through a sub contractor who scheduled me through another sub contractor. This was for a new garage door. So far the middle subcontractor has been by about 3 times I would say. At this point I am giving up because of all the reviews I had read from the middle sub contractor. I am obviously not a garage door pro so am just realizing multitudes of problems: light is coming in rather strong from sides of the door and the top: I realized that they literally broke and took the wood panels from side of the door so they could hang the new door and they didnt put any weather stripping on either side, the result is that I am fairly certain I will have critters coming in. 2- the darn opener is not hung correctly so it shakes violently every time door opens- I was told it was o.k, well I can actually see paint chips falling off the ceiling everytime it opens and closes. 3- they didnt bother to put the new key pad in the same place as the one before so I can see messed up pain on the outside. 4- this was fixed: I literally couldnt park my car in the garage because the sensors were put in too far behind and the door wouldnt close- this was fixed with one of alls. at the end: I am done dealing with this place the subcontractor and the sub sub contractor. Hey Montys : totally NOT cooll! you remember when I wrote a check for the wrong amount??? and I called you?? that is when if you were somewhat honest should have told me, hey, we hire a subcontractor instead you told me you were closed and working from home and I couldnt come by to drop the check. Regardless, I hope I hope I hope whoever is enjoying a single dime that I work so hard for everyday will pay it back a million times. I am moving on and calling someone else.
