And I love it!So many narwhal tusks, whale bones, saw fish snouts and oddities floating in jars, your neck will tire from looking up, but make sure not to trip.Personal favorite oddity: the vampire extermination kit (apparently containing everything you need) featuring large hammer, wooden stake, silver crucifix, Bible and holy water, all in an attractive carrying case.

If you have kids this is a definite stop on the waterfront. Lots of cool stuff to see and cool toys / collectibles to buy. They have a one arm bandit in there, literally. Their original safe date backs to the early 1900s and they still use it today. Now thats cool.

I have always loved coming here! They always have cool things to look at and the prices are reasonable! Their location changed from when I 1st started coming to the piers 25 years ago.

I have been visiting this shop since I was a little kid. I love how hardly anything has changed in all the years its been here. So many cool things to see. And Im so glad that the family that owns the shop has passed down the torch through the generations. Thank you so much for being awesome!

I wish I had known the shop we were going into when we stopped here. It is a must go in Seattle. I only got a few pictures of the shrunken heads and mummified family. A lot of tourist gifts and history. Such a fun shop.

Very cool, both in terms of free curiosities to view (assorted two headed taxidermy and a couple actual mummified human bodies, etc) and the size and variety of the gift shop itself. Good place for souvenirs, especially if youre a bit quirky. If you walk around the outside of the back of the building, its very quiet and secluded from the tourist craziness and has a great view of the water as well.If this information was helpful, Id appreciate a quick like. It was like walking thru a museum, a small and cramped but still somehow organized. Awesome place to find treasures.A bit pricey, but some stuff there youre not going to find somewhere else.

It seemed alright enough. Some cute odds and ends. Good selection of stones if youre into that. Some neat jewelry. Otherwise its mostly weird stuff youll buy someone else because its weird and you think theyll like it; theyll chuckle politely and tell you they love it or that its awesome, but then throw it away at the earliest convenience.This is more fun as a spot to window shop than to actually purchase anything.The staff were very polite and patient.

Super cute little shop, and the employees seemed more than happy to tell me the stories behind some of the artifacts. I bought the cutest little 2 headed duckling on a SKATEBOARD! Its hands down the best taxidermy I own. I would recommend stopping by this place if youre visiting

This place is just wonderful! The shrunken head display near the back was probably my favorite part, but there is just so much to see here. Its located along the boardwalk, I was only in town for a day and Im glad I stumbled upon this shop. If you have the chance, definitely check it out!

I love this place we go here at least once a year. Its something I look forward to and enjoy going there! I live to look at all the creepy stuff you have the bugs and funny gifts.

This place was kinda exactly what I expected, its a tourist trap filled with random ebay stuff at inflated prices. I cant even be mad about it because I know that they are just supplying the demand. They did have some real shrunken heads, some real mummies and a few insects and bones. The vintage automaton type machines were probably the coolest part. The peepshow and the laughing doll were a riot.

An interesting place to visit. It has history, and thats why we went. Lots of what is affordable and on sale is kitschy, and the interesting stuff is either not for sale, or very expensive, but its all worthy of at least a short visit. The staff is friendly and helpful.

There is something for everyone at this shop. Unusual can be used to describe everything. There are a couple of displays that touch on Seattles history. Beware of the genetically modified taxonomy in the front right case.

Fun store to go in and see all of the interesting items. Just dont go on a holiday weekend as theres barely room to move in the store without the crowds so when its crowded its nearly impossible. And if your in a wheelchair or use a walker this store is not for you. Theres just no room to navigate.

This is the most unique shop Ive been to tons of interesting things to see the real mummies and shrunken heads were creepy but they have chief Seattles hat which was neat. Will go again when Im back and Im bringing friends to see it.

A funky waterfront must see shop full of oddities and trinkets to bring back from your trip. Prices arent too bad.

Interesting animals and dead things. Some people find it cool but its just not my type of place. More like a museum that you can buy trinkets at.

Kind and welcoming.... nice small gifts to. Kid friendly and cashier was super nice. Mask were required, he gave me one to wear, no cost.

Ye Olde Curiosity Shop has lost all its charm since relocating to the new building. The clutter and smell and creaky floorboards were the soul of this this once-great Seattle landmark. Give it 100 years and might be interesting enough again for a visit.

Best shop on the pier! Not your typical souvenir shop. We had so much fun looking at the oddities in display cases that we had to go back through to look at the inventory! Also, the three gentleman working were courteous and helpful. 10/10 recommend!

Less of a curiosity shop and more of a tourist shop. They carry a bunch of items that you would find on thinkgeek and hot topic and some random candy. The curiosity portions line the walls, but the center of the store which is the majority of the store seems to be for mainstream/mass produced weird or semi-unique items.They are for some reason selling small umbrellas for $30 at the front of the store. They sell keychains that light up with your name on it, mints that have a picture of einstein on it, a lightup starship enterprise mini, shirts and hats.

Worth a visit for weird and quirky things. Im not sure anything in here is real or authentic, and not a place Id go for locally sourced items.

Some of the coolest stuff around can be found at this location. A lot better priced than a similar store further down from ferry. I love to pop in from time to time. I get gifts for everyone in the family here.

There is one taxidermy 2 headed bull calf and one 4 legged chicken which are probably made abnormal during the taxidermy process and were normal when they were alive. Besides the old gypsy machine and a couple other antiquities its basically nothing but another overpriced souvenirs shop. So disappointing.

Fun! Human remains, if they are real, feels a little uncomfortable to be in display cases, but on the whole, a fun place to visit.

Always loved Ye Olde Cutiosity Shoppe when I was a kid, now my kid loves it too. Great service by the cashiers, super friendly and helpful. Very good prices considering how expensive everything else in Seattle is.

Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, its definitely is a place to stop in and visit while youre in Seattle downtown area. They have a bunch of cool interesting little knick-knacks and lots of old stuff you can look at and try out. One could spend a couple hours just looking around at everything. Careful not to knock anything over, it is a tight fit in some spots. Pricing is very reasonable and its on Pier 54 at the docks close to the aquarium, it is tucked away in the back side of the building so be careful not to miss it.

Quite the interesting place! Definitely worth checking out. Has everything you could imagine and things you have never even knew existed! Staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions. Would totally recommend.

Part souvenir shop - part freak show. Tired of the usual tshirts and shot glasses for souvenirs? This place has pickle flavored chewing gum, sasquatch socks and a real mummy! Fun addition to any trip for any age.

We had some time to spend b-4 our Harbour cruise. We decided to do a little tourist shopping. This store had alot of interesting things. Not your run of the mill shirt shop or coffee mug place. I wish we would have had alot more time. Love this shop. Make sure you have plenty of time to visit!

This has been a place I always visit when I stop by Seattle since I was a very small kid. Its a great place. Been there since 1899? Not surprised. I always visit Sylvester and now his girlfriend Sylvia(?) I dont know her name.

This store is a free Ripleys Believe it or Not museum tour. I would definitely make this a stop on the strip. The store has small aisles.

I have loved visiting this store since i was a kid. Nothing like seeing the mummy Sylvester, that is prominent attraction here. Nice place.

Definitely a fun touristy place to visit, this shop has a lot of random cool things no one needs but can sometimes be genius (or downright weird). It is a regular store for random... goods..., and just has a collection of other interesting things to admire and look at while you’re shopping. The average price for things is definitely higher since it’s a tourist attraction, but it’s an amusing place to visit and check out if you want something new.Some of their merch includes bacon socks, edible larvae, ‘belt buckle’ keychains (one of my favourites), hologram glasses that make your eyes look weird to people looking at you... it’s a fun place to check out even if you don’t buy anything.

An absolute 5 star if you are anywhere near the waterfront area. So many crazy things to see. Kids will love it too. Like an interactive museum, where you can buy stuff. Be sure to put a quarter in the one armed bandit!

Ive always loved going to the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop. Love the new layout. Gives Sylvester and Sylvia (the mummies) a larger display case complete with detailed descriptions. They also added three penny pressers, each with three designs. I was disappointed when the design was way off, but when I asked for a cash refund the cashier couldnt be nicer. Also love the beautiful totem poles.

Its ye old curiosity shop. It carries a lot of common gift items you could find in other giftshops or stores, but it has a few quirky items that make it worth stopping by. The little muesum in the back is fun and interesting. Otherwise its just a fancied up gift shop.

They always have really cool stuff great souvenirs and theyre all really nice, some items are a little over priced.

Didnt think I could get a shrunken head and preserved shark in a jar all in one place! Great staff and an overall incredible place. Must see for tourists and locals. Thank you for the spooky experience!

Great place to visit when youre in Seattle! Came in to look and get squished pennies, and the checker was very friendly and helpful when asking for squished penny supplies. Didnt get all of them, so will have to stop by again!

What a fun and quirky little shop! Definitely a lot of locally made curiosities. Plenty of Chinese made merchandise if that’s what you are looking for, but a lot of unique items here that you can find for those destined to explore their curiosities!Also, in today’s world, they are doing great at limiting access during Covid.

Great place to get souvenirs and random objects that you would not really see in other places. They have all types of different rocks, seashells, necklaces made with real butterfly wings, tshirts, magnets and much more. Staff was friendly except for the lady serving the fudge. It said that they give free samples for testing and she looked annoyed about having to give out free samples. I felt uncomfortable trying anymore and decided not to purchase any. Other than that, great place to check out.

Loved all the museum-like objects, from the real mummies, to shrunken heads and strange decorations on the roof. Wouldve liked it to be bigger, since a lot of people were inside and I found it difficult to walk around. They have wonderful fudge, my favorite was chocolate. Visit this place, its a good souvenir shop!
