My daughter and I had a great experience at the Lake City Kennelly Keys Store. Patrick took the time to explain to us in detail, how guitars are made and which one would be best suited for my daughter. He even played her a tune on her new guitar as well as put on new strings. He was extremely knowledgeable about guitars and instruments in general. We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend Kennelly Keys for your instrument needs.

1-10-2018I have purchased several keyboards, amps and other gear from Kennelly Keys at various locations and have always been satisfied!!!Jesse Hoefer, Manager, at the Lake City Kennelly Keys is my HERO!!! Today I walked in with the amp I purchased last week along with my HAMMOND keyboard and explained that the amp would only play the higher register of notes from my Hammond. Jesse set my amp and keyboard up and began to work on it. When he finished after about 10 minutes or so, he had set the defaults and settings that I wanted to come on automatically when I turn on my Hammond.I am happy and grateful to Jesse beyond words!!! I am a full time entertainer/musician and Jesse was extremely knowledgeable (way more than me), on how to set the settings on my Hammond even though that is not one of their brands.Ive always been pleased with Kennelly Keys but today, I just had to write a review to let everyone know that the service I received from the staff and from Jesse was above and beyond the call of duty! Because of this kind of service, I will continue to make my purchases from them and I will HIGHLY recommend Kennelly Keys to everyone who might be looking for a music store when they need to make a purchase!!!Sandra

In a word, Lucas. Okay, more like a name, but our experience at Kennelly Keys was exceptional due mainly to the customer service and character of the sales associate, Lucas. He was attentive, thorough (while fast), with a quick wit and charming personality. My prior experiences at Kennelly Keys had left me somewhat jaded and apprehensive about heading back there for my 3rd childs instrumental needs. The damage has been repaired! Im now a satisfied customer.

This store has earned my respect and loyalty many times over. Ive found the staff to be helpful and friendly, encouraging to new musicians. And the repairs are fast and excellent! I love dealing with these folks!

I was just there buying strings. Nice looking inside. Amazingly reasonable prices on some cool stuff I want. I looked like such a bum this day but salespeople were ready and helped regardless of knowing who I am. For a very local to me store, this will be my go to for now.

I took my kids to this location to see if they wanted to pick out a brass instrument to play in the future. We met with Sales Associate Lucas Brewington-Janssen. Lucas spent a long time with us and let the kids try out a saxophone, clarinet, and flute. He let us play in one of lesson rooms downstairs. He was very generous and knowledgeable. We didnt buy anything but we will definitely be going there in the future when the kids are ready to start band.

I love the store - friendly helpful staff. If they dont have what you need they are usually able to get it within a few days. Ive bought instruments, sound equipment, and music from them and rented instruments as well. The rental process takes a bit of time but that is to be expected.

I was looking for a keyboard with 88 weighted keys. I did my research online first, and Kennelly had the one I had my eye on at the price I was expecting. They were also the only music store open on Monday that was not Guitar Center. (Barf.)I think the person who helped me is named Benjamin (though I’m not certain) and he was very nice, informative, and not aggressive or up-sell-ey at all. He threw in a complimentary 1/4 - 1/8 adapter so I can play using my lil earbuds, and he helped me to my car.This is a solid independent music store- comfortable vibe, reasonable prices- and I’ll certainly come here first if I have any musical instrument needs in the future. A+.

Horrible customer service. They came to our school and sold us things we didnt need then when we went to return items at the store they stated they couldnt be returned because they have a 15 day return policy which we were never made aware of at the time of purchase

Great service, very helpful, makes renting equipment easy for any event or need.

Overall great place. They mostly sell instruments and have a small selection of music books.
