It makes me really sad to write this review. I recently moved here and wanted to support a local business rather than going to home depot. Like many people, I work during the week so Saturday was my only option. I had commitments in the morning so I wasnt able to get there until around 2:30PM, about 30 minutes before they closed.I dont have a table saw so I asked them to rip two cuts for me. The associate who greeted me was happy to help and went in the back to set it up while I did more shopping.As I was looking at some hardware, I heard a different sales associate (20s-30s dark haired male with short dark facial hair, wearing a baseball cap) start loudly trash talking me to a different associate. He was talking about how he couldnt believe I couldnt find a better time than 30 minutes before the store closed to come in. I was super uncomfortable and tried to wait on the other side of the store as they cut the wood in the back. Unfortunately this guy kept finding reasons to walk over to me and aggressively ask if I was done yet (it was still 2:50, 10 minutes before they closed). As I went back up to the front to check out, he snarled you realize we close in 5 minutes right???The entire interaction made me deeply uncomfortable. It saddens me to have to write this because the original associate who helped me was really nice and understanding about the whole thing. Unfortunately I left the store feeling profoundly uncomfortable and that has dominated my experience.I hope that management talks to this associate about the importance of being kind and not aggressive towards customers. I probably wont return to this business as I would feel uncomfortable if this associate were present.

These people are fantastic. Gave us everything we asked for. Never have I had a bad experience there. They also were extremely fast and efficient. Would recommend them highly.

Staff isnt super friendly. They just want to make the sale and want you to leave, at least that is how I felt. I have left my number with the company to give me a call back when they are free to talk about my lumber order. Twice! They never called back, so decided to go my local lumber store instead.

Phoned re orbital sander; yes, the young man assured, its in stock. When I arrived, I once again asked someone to show me an orbital sander, he vaguely pointed down an aisle and went back to discussing the upcoming game. Staff kept answering the phone, repeating Hes not here, back next week. Dont know if they are dismissive of women or older women. I left.

I bought stud grade 2x4s, at a higher price than Dunn Lumber. One out of 10 was acceptable quality. I have never seen such poor grade lumber before, and at a premium price. Disgusting. Do NOT buy lumber from them, go to Dunn who sells MUCH better product. On a good note: The people, at this store were super nice.

I called day of and they had the amount of siding that I needed. Despite the busyness of the day, they moved through service quickly and with kindness. Customer service is top notch.

I brought in a piece of trim that needed to be matched and within what felt like less than a second they had the piece identified and priced out. Meanwhile I had gone to the big box stores and another local specialist who had just handed me a ruler and told me to tell them the dimensions.Thank you!

This place is pretty good. They have a nice selection of softwoods, I particular hemlock. They also have a nice molding selection. Plywood is decent, but generally lower grade or construction grade (mainly C grade stuff). If you want to build fine furniture, you may want to try elsewhere.

Theyve given me 20 years of great service- many of the employees have been there the entire time. Best selection of moldings in the city. Bulk fasteners. Good selection of marine lumber.

One of the oldest lumberyards in seattle that has almost ( limited exotic hardwood selection) everything you need. They also have lots of counter help to keep your visit as short as possible. Nothing worse for a contractor than to have to wait to pay for something, so i give them big thumbs up

It may feel like a store walking in but once inside they treat you like family. If youre a regular they call you by name. Ive never known them to be over the top with their appreciation of your business but they definitely let you know your business matters to them. They act as one cohesive unit knowledgeable of their products and they go out of the way to ensure that the customer is always satisfied. They dont have products they dont believe in and they back up each and every purchase with a guarantee or replacement or money back policy that goes unspoken and I havent read in anywhere. With regards to returns or refunds I just know that theyve never questioned anything that I wasnt satisfied with. I am extremely picky yet they still make it right. Every instance that I have dealt with them for the last 5 years. Anything Ive purchased from them if I had any issues with it whatsoever they take it back and/or refund, replace, whatever it takes to make the customer satisfied with the purchase they have done without a doubt. In terms of really spending much with them Im a nobody. Yet they always treat me as if I am one of the real contractors that come in. Seriously. The Limback Lumber TEAM are true professionals. Seamless is how I would describe every experience Ive dealt with them in purchasing my construction or maintenance... homeowner needs.
