After referral from my doctor, Norco contacted me by phone the following day. I was immediately sent an email with links to videos explaining the CPAP machine mechanical functions and calibration for my personal use. After watching the videos, I called Norco and the representative was very helpful in answering all my questions. Im hoping my future with Norco is as efficient and helpful.
The representatives are kind and courteous to me. They have shown me respect and helped me out with my equipment when theres a problem. Check them out. They are online.
I am new to CPAP therapy. Scott Merrill of the Seattle office did a superb job of introducing me to the unit and accessories. Scott was patient, informative, responsive, and answered all my questions. He suggested the right mask for me. Norco of Seattle was able to fulfill my accessory needs in less than a week after my doctor ordered a CPAP unit (I was leaving for an extended trip). Amazing service! I have already referred another CPAP user to this office.
I have been using Norco for Cpap supplies since I switched to Medicare 3 years ago. TERRIBLE service. They periodic emails to reorder supplies are clunky and not clear on the item descriptions and do not include all items (head strap). Since I couldn’t get my head strap in my last order, I went on the website and found it and ordered one. Got an email saying a person would call me. I forgot about in for several weeks and when I check my order status, it was CANCELED. With no phone call, email or explanation. I called and reordered, maybe at my expense ( Drake couldn’t have been nicer on phone) and stayed to do a survey and was assured I could leave comments at end of call but NO...the call just ended. Drake made a note to have someone call me to explain what happened with my cancelled order and I got an email instead...very cold and non caring especially when I was told I’d get a call. This was all a year after a similar order lapse because apparently my doctor needed to renew me every year but Nobody called me to tell me this! I was taping my hose with tape! Had to drive to Seattle in the end to get my supplies. Do Not Use this company if you have a choice. Not good system of communications with their clients. NOTE: every time I do call, the people are nice, just trying to do their jobs.... not their fault.
Visiting from Maine, found I failed to pack the cushion for my ResMed CPAP. They had the cushion I was missing and provided wonderful service. Thank you, Norco, for being there and taking care of my needs.
I handle the caregiving details for my husband, who is bedridden and in an Adult Family Home. The Seattle Norco Branch has always been extremely helpful to us, which is very much appreciated! They have come up with good solutions to any problem we have come up with.
Recently had to switch DMEs when switching insurance. Everyone I spoke to at Norco was very nice and very disorganized. After almost 4 weeks and calling in multiple times, I still never received my initial CPAP supplies. The current person I spoke with always said something was missing in the notes from the previous conversation. When I asked at the end if I had any next steps, I was told Im good to go. (With the exception of a referral form that wasnt mentioned until late in the process.) At the end of it all, I was fortunate to have had nothing ship. Cut my losses and got setup elsewhere pretty quickly.EDIT: Worth mentioning - I was contacted by the office manager after posting my review. They took ownership of the issue and were focused on improving customer service. (Seems like mostly solvable clerical issues led to my difficulty in getting set up.) It was a good conversation that shows theyre a quality place.
UPDATE!!!! Norco medical has gone the lengths needed for me to feel theyve fulfilled their obligations for a re-evaluation of the score I initially gave and the services they provide for me on a regular basis. Ive decided to raise my rating from one star to four. The Norco team still has room for improvement but is willing to put forth the effort in providing the best service they can and are willing to work on the necessary changes needed to achieve a better customer experience.Cheers!!Their internal and external communications is pathetic to say the least. Theyll get an order from my doctor, but if it isnt exactly what they need they do nothing, it just gets lost in their system, until I call an ask whats going on, instead of reaching out for better information (at least a week each time, if not more before wondering where the order is because it should have arrived already). Constantly have to chase them around to fill my orders, even when they have all the information they need. Even when I talk to someone to get the order started and they inform me itll be on the way shortly. Something always goes wrong and instead of solutions, they only offer excuses and/or blame someone or something else. Its never the employee-owners fault and there is never anything they can do about... at least thats the BS Im given each time.Yes, the communications are so bad it drops them to one star. If theyd fix that problem instead of always only offering excuses or passing the buck there wouldnt be any issues and Id happy award 5, but it is just that bad and I fed up with the 4-year battle. Only chose them because of convenience... should have read the reviews and drove a little further. Its been about 4 weeks now trying to get my C-Pap replaced after five years of having and using it daily. I cant afford to wait until its completely broken because I cant breathe or sleep without it. Once it breaks, theyre non-action is going to affect my health, severely... (for example my oxygen level dips to 10% or below if I dont have my C-Pap machine. Yes, Im literally suffocating while Im trying to sleep.)Im giving them one last chance to make it right before I take my business to a place that respects and has a feeling of obligation to help and lookout for their customers... I sure havent been getting that from the employee-owners at Norco. They dont even sound like they care when I try to explain all of this to them. They just blow it off, change the subject and/or offer excuses, thats it, none of them will take responsibility for anything there.
UPDATE: Ive noticed that the response to my review and others is that weve attempted to reach you by phone without success, implying that somehow the customer is doing something wrong by not responding. The real story is that I moved on to another company after MULTIPLE attempts at calling them to get supplies refilled that were not being done. They were given more than one chance to get my orders right and they did not.I had removed a previous review regarding the lack of communication at this company because I thought my recent order for supplies refill was being handled better. I was wrong! My order was put in on October 1st. I called on October 20th to ask why my order was not shipped or received. I received a voicemail on the 21st saying my order was shipped. I called again today to follow up, and was told the warehouse has not shipped it yet. What an abysmal way to handle lifesaving medical equipment!! This is truly frightening.
For years Ive had great customer service from Norco. But now, it seems that they are all on vacation. Ive been waiting for months for my resupply items, and have yet to receive it, just a generic email saying someone will contact me. And now after a dozen or so emails, I get nothing. Im now having to buy my supplies online, paying for it myself. My suggestion to anyone wanting to buy from this place, RUN!!!! Find another supplier!!
Ive had a great experience at Norco for CPAP. My sleep doctor referred me there after frustrating experiences with larger DME companies. Emily at the front desk is knowlegeable and super helpful. She took the time to reset/wipe data off my old machine and check it out so I could pass it along to someone else. Highly recommend.
No computer. Send paper invoice
I worked with a few of the folks at Norco, but most memorable was Jesse T. Jesse was extremely responsive and helpful in guiding me step by step over email coordination and quickly turned around my order for shipping. The others were also very helpful and polite in answering questions while I was shopping around for the product I needed.
Rick was a great help !!!
The staff are so helpful and always make sure my husband has the supplies he needs. When speaking to Becky today, she took the time to give me extra information I was looking for about additional products for my husband. She was patient with my numerous questions and so so friendly. Everyone I have interacted with there has been wonderful and I know my husband is getting the best supplies and assistance going through them
I was helped by Clinician Becky in obtaining my first CPAP. The experience could not have been any better. Her knowledge of all the various CPAPs and their components, along with her understanding and kindness of a novice with trepidation at the new experience was superb. I have had follow up questions and visits and she has been very patient and helpful and a true problem solver. Because of my respect and trust in Becky, I will come to Norco for all my supplies and medical equipment needs in the futdure.
My Dad realized 5 minutes to 5 that he forgot an important part of his medical equipment at home. We reached the Norco in Seattle 10 minutes after they closed. My dad was so worried he didnt know how he would get through the night. An employee noticed him outside and willingly helped him. The employees were so caring and treated my elderly dad with kindness and dignity. Thank you Norco.
Emilio was the Best! First he wore gloves something that never happened at the other two locations. Also he explained everything in detail. Then he made time for us the next day to finish our training and purchase. Thank You Emilio we are very happy to have had you help us. Even though there are closer locations to us we will go out of our way for the excellent service at this location? Thanks
Every single oxygen tank delivery so far not delivered. No follow up. Calls to redeliver resulted in nothing getting delivered. Dangerous way to jeopardize patients’ lives.
I had a billing problem and spoke with Bonnie. She was very helpful and patient. She tracked down the person that I needed to speak with and when she was unavailable, pursued another person who could solve my issue. In addition, any orders and needs I have had have been solved quickly and easily. Thanks Norco!
I spoke to an employee owner over the phone who quoted me $200 for a piece of equipment and said they had it in stock. When I arrived, they said it would be $500 to purchase (the same decide sells for half the cost online) and refused to honor the price quoted over the phone.
Walked in and stood at the counter for a minute or two, with a whole bunch of people on the other side, all just having their own conversation, not one of them even said hi to me or cared that I was there. I walked out
We have a custom wheelchair, purchased from Norco in Missoula. While in Seattle for medical treatment, the removable hard back became loose. Was told they will not come to hospital or hotel to fix. Not impressed, and extremely frustrated.
Have used this company for cpap supplies under current ownership and past owners. Have had no problems with them billing my insurance. They are willing to do phone orders and mail me the things I want. On at least half the orders they send the wrong things!!! They then send the right things when I call to correct the order. However, it then takes a few more calls to get them to send a return label! I do not know whether they actually refund the cost to my insurance, or just take the copay off my bill.
My wife and I have visited Norco in Seattle a couple of times. Both times we were lucky enough to be helped by Becky! She was very helpful and talked us through all the options for keeping up with our CPAP supplies, a process more complicated than it should be - thanks to Medicares rules.
Super helpful staff every time in person and on the phone. They gave me the phone number of a competitor when they did not have what I needed in stock. Good people!
Called yesterday to make sure they have what I needed. Was told that they cant receive email and I have to send the info as an attachment so their system thinks it is a fax. Um ok.....totally 90s technology. That should have been a sign. Called again today to check on some more info they needed when I was told by an incredibly rude woman that they do not have what they told me they had yesterday. Based on the reviews it seems like this company is a mess! I took my business elsewhere and certainly wont be reccomending this company.
This place is horrendous. Their billing is nothing short of a disaster. When you try and call and make an appointment, its like pulling teeth. They promise you a ton and deliver nothing. The whole organization seems like a racket. If they dont like that you decided to go somewhere else, they will find a way to stop billing you and try and collect months later. If you still question whether to use them, just visit the facility. Its a run down POC in an old Pharmacy or Diner in Seattle.
I really dislike Norco. I find them arrogant and unprofessional. Very poor follow through. I left on a month long trip to Mexico. I badly needed c-pap supplies. They did not have them in stock and they said they would send them to me in Mexico ASAP. THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. My trip was totally compromised. Upon my return I called them and they were rude, totally defensive and took zero responsibility for the mistake. If you can find another vendor do it I gave them 2 stars; they totally deserve a 1 or even 0.
I was forced to find a different company for medical supplies for my cpap machine because the staff refused to help me. Although they accept my insurance, they would not contact my doctors in order to get me set up as a new patient. I called several times over the course of 4 weeks, but they never followed up. Find a different company. They dont care about your medical needs.
Minimum of concern for my visit. Did not thank me for my patronage and did not ask if i needed any other business conducted. Showroom (?) feels like a second hand store for medical supplies.
8/30/19 UPDATE: After a few months and quite a few phone calls later, I was able to get all my records to a new supplier. I still get automated calls from ...Faith, from Norco. Norco was a really, really great supplier at setup time, an OK supplier while I used them to get supplies, transferring from them to another supplier out of state was a challenge, and despite the fact that Im gone, they dont quite want to let me go. ha ha. Overall, they have been alright.10/1/18 UPDATE: I moved and am trying to get my records to a new CPAP supplier. Norco said they would help, but they sent nothing. A month later and Im still at 0 establishing a new CPAP supplier.***I have used Norco for CPAP supplies for 8 months. I saw the other reviews, either love or hate and thought there should be some middle ground. Norco worked with me and my doctor patiently while I went through three different mask types until I found the one that worked best for me. They dont always answer the phone, and usually but not always call back within a day or so. They can tell me when I am eligible to order new supplies but even if its in just a few days they wont take my order and place it themselves a few days later - I need to call them back and ask again. Overall, theyre pretty good, and Ive gotten what I needed in a reasonably pleasant and mostly professional manner.
This place is horrid-feels like death when you walk in there. Very poor customer service experience with my CPAP machine; no attention to patient needs and seemingly could care less if you have the right equipment. Sad because this can be a life or death situation.
The staff was incredibly helpful and I left with a brand new cane in 10 minutes. The Hurrycane was priced at below all internet prices, too.
Seriously the WORST medical supply place Ive ever been to. Ive had asthma since I can remember and have lived in 4 states. I came in only needing a mouth piece replacement. I was snottily informed that I needed a prescription and that if I came back with one it would be free with my insurance. After 2 hours of phone calls and finally winding up at an urgent care facility to get them a paper prescription. I went back in, handed over my prescription and then waited for an exorbitant amount of time for them to pull out a standard prebagged mouth piece from a box. The lady (same one I spoke to the first time) never asked for my insurance (although the first time she promised she would). She walked up and stated that it was $5 and told me to sign on the dotted line. $5 isnt much and I happily will pay it so I can breathe but I shouldnt have to spend 2 hours trying to figure out what they need and then remind them to take my insurance in order to get what I need to live. Seriously find some where else to go.
Tried multiple times to reach the Renton office by phone and was finally rerouted to the Seattle Stoneway office. Staff did not take time to understand I just wanted to know if I needed an appointment. With their expansion over the past year, they are not set up to handle the prior accounts they have taken on. Had to insist they take my call back info.
Do not go in this store! They refused to switch out my broken sleep apnea machine I Got this less than 2 years, even though my doctor wrote the rx, and info that was needed for my needs to program. Zshwisha ( Clinical Rep) was at the desk, and said it takes 2 days and then appointment is needed, she did not take the machine, as she said that request has to be approved by the insurance. After 10 days, I call and find out she shredded my RX and Program needs and did nothing! So Go to Everett, or only mail order from this place. Avoid this lady! She just doesnt have the customer care that is expected.
