Not a bad place for ice cream, the flavors are mixed in with the softserve so you dont actually get the real ice cream. The cones are good and they have a taco cone which is cool. When we went it was a little busy and at least 4 cars passed through the drive thru before we got ours. When we did finally get ours it was melting and a mess.

We stood outside for 15 minutes, no one acknowledged that we were even there! Just RUDE, in my opinion. Apparently if you want service you have to use the drive thru! Not one sign posted stating that! Went to Dairy Queen, walked inside, was greeted & order placed immediately!Lost my family as customers!

Love the place!!!!! Great affordable ice cream and many toppings to choose from. Rewards program as well. BTW, place was clean, staff was pleasant and everyone wore a mask. Keep it up!!!!

If you really wanna splurge and arent gonna count calories their banana splits and chocolate chip tacos. They are generous with toppings and amount of ice cream. Friendly staff. Worth eating in car or taking home in a small cooler. Rival ice cream establishment down the road has minimized their treats sizes and skimp on toppings, yet prices remain the same or are not equal to the content of Twisty Treats awesome desserts.

Well, its hard to pass this cute place without getting an ice cream! The place is adorable and has fun furniture outside to eat your ice cream at (its in the same parking lot as the Walmart).Our ice cream was delicious. They were having a problem with the vanilla machine, so we were forced to step out of our vanilla comfort-zone and get something else. I had strawberry ice cream with butterfingers mixed in - WONDERFUL. My friend had a hot fudge sundae - also wonderful. The prices were extremely reasonable.I highly recommend this cute place. The tables were clean and the girl who took our orders was very nice. All good!

Yes, it is very good ice cream & treats. But if you are lactose intolerant make sure you have your treat on your way home or at home.And they give free pup cups, so its a great place to take your fur baby! Just remember moderation for their little tummies as well.

2238 i was thinking make it quick they will be closing soon. Already closed no one in sight. Just informed a drive through patron that they are closed as well they had a car full too :-/My last experience here was a 4 great and helpful staff

There was a place that I remember serving ice cream in Avon Park years ago that shut down. Many times I wish it was still open. they had the best ice cream in Highlands County. Will Twistee Treat matches it, the ice cream is great!

Twistee Treat has historically been a 5 star experience for my family and I. The product always good, the service strong, and the experience enjoyable.Tonight, the product was good, but the service was very average (barely any words spoken by the employee besides the total price at the end) and was particularly slow, which was unusual for our experience here.The employees friends also seemed to be loitering outside, which together with all of the lights and music being turned off and the area being relatively unclean, made for the most disappointing Twistee Treat experience Ive ever had.Ill update my review the next time Im in town with my family if we have a better experience.

Flavors are created with artificial mixes. My grandson thinks all the flavors are delicious. I am an ice cream connoisseur. Ill save my money and buy a pint of Ben and Jerrys. For those not as discriminating a fun and inexpensive stop for the family.

Amazing icecream

Used to be one of my favorite places to stop for good ice cream. My last visit changed that. Drastically smaller cups/bowls, yet the same if not higher prices. The mostly student looking staff is also busier on their phones than making your product.

Ice Cream was great but the customer service was terrible. The employees were incredibly rude. We had to repeat ourselves several times during our order because either the box was broken or the employee was not listening. She sounded agitated when she had to ask her questions again because she didnt hear us the first time. When we got to the window, we asked if the box was broken and tried laughing off claiming maybe we didnt say it loud enough for her. The employee just shrugged us off and said it worked fine. Another employee gave us our order, didnt say anything, and just shut the window without some much as a have a good day or anything.

Was given coupons at the car show tonight. They were buy one get one free. Nobody could figure out how to ring these up. Please train your employees before putting them on the register.
