I just got reproached for gently handing some ribbons for a vintage teddy bear I was going to send to my sick mother-in-law. The lady who did this didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in or try to help me in any way. I had to ask and she was very begrudging and unfriendly about it. She kept watching me the entire time I was looking, (about 3 mins), before rudely asking me not to handle them because they might crinkle. I thought maybe I misheard her but then she went on to say that I should just hold up the teddy bear to guess basically which one would go well.I am so disappointed because we’ve come a few times now when Michelle was here and she is just the complete opposite. Makes you feel like you’re really welcomed and actually tries to HELP you with your purchase vs shooing your away.I can only hope the person I had to deal with today was another employee, but she seems very confused about what her job is. I had such nice times shopping with Michelle before so maybe I will try again. With her even though I know some items are overpriced I come again anyway because I know I’m going to get the help and attention I need to make my purchase spectacular. She actually assists me and gives me her opinion which has helped me several times in the past. But someone should know that this other lady is not doing that. At all.
I visited this shop with my family, everything here was beautiful, interesting, authentic and priced appropriately for what there was. There was a wide selection and the staff was very kind and accommodating. We will be back.
The place to find amazing beautiful treasures. It is really nice to encounter owners and all those who work there who are knowledgeable and can share some history of the items they have in their store. Please do not pass up this wonderful place it is a treasure itself! Of course there are two locations, so don’t forget to ask where you can visit the other place or you would be missing out on other beautiful items! Thank you to the ladies my partner and I encountered during our shopping and taking time to talk to us. So very kind people!
My husband and I were there on July 7th. The woman that helped us was truly an inspiration of her knowledge of the business. Thank you my good friend loved her Amethyst
