Amazing place to stop for coffee in Sedona. Ive been coming here for years and its always a lovely experience! The pastries and coffee never disappoints and the patio is always pleasant to sit and enjoy nature.
Dont come here if youre hungry. Very limited menu. Mostly salads and a few sandwiches. Nice courtyard but busy and hard to get a seat.
Legendary, Lovely, Locals call it ig. Lattes, sandwiches, salads and general brunch. Recently changed ownership. VEGAN GLUTEN FREE PASTRIES!!! Market has you covered for snacks youll need on your hike into west fork and other canyon shenanigans. Soothing back patio, adjacent field is childlike nostalgia, servers with sexy smiles! My favorite cafe in the whole world. Shout out to all the servers who have worked here over the many years Ive been patronizing.❤🧡💛🤍💚💙💜
I loved sitting outside in the garden. It brings back memories. Enjoyed the Veggie Melt to the max, yum!!
My friend and I are here. I had avocado toast (needs salt and spicy salsa for me), she had breakfast burrito based on positive reviews (a little more hardy than expected but great). Coming fountains in the garden, birds singing and lots of green made for a good breakfast. Would like to try other menu options. Will definitely try again
We used to eat at Indian gardens four times a week, it was our local hangout. Now the food is so bad we struggle to find something decent to eat on a very limited and strange menu. Presentation and quality is very poor. Please bring back some decent sandwiches like Dan thee man, Ferrari with fresh mozzarella or ham and cheese. French toast or pancakes for breakfast. We have tried every main selection and every one failed the test!!! Burritos are like airport food. Whatever happened to the giant fresh burrito with red enchilada sauce and cheese on top?? At least the coffee drinks are the same and the garden is still gorgeous. Its sad as we truly loved the whole aura there and knew we could always get something good to eat.
As of 2021 this is under new ownership and is very disappointing. I’ve eaten here for almost 30 years and it’s always been amazing. Just tried it since it changed hands and it was not good. I ordered my old favorite, a BLT and it was thin with hard overcooked bacon and very little lettuce and tomato. The tomato did not taste marinated like the menu said, the bacon was peppered which it did not say on the menu and I don’t do well with black pepper, and the potato salad was disappointing. So sad. A favorite place I will no longer eat at or recommend.
This was our favorite place to eat when we previously visited Sedona. Everyone who works there is authentic and kind, and they really care about making sure you have a great time there. I’m a huge breakfast and coffee person, and they exceeded my expectations. I had to stop from ordering everything on the menu 🤣 I hope they open up again soon!
It is fantastic! First off, the patio is amazing. You are away from the highway enough to enjoy sitting out back, and there is a small relaxing fountain. Sedona seemed really buzzing and too much in the city setting for me, but this cafe just outside is a treasure on the way to Flagstaff. Great espresso and almaretti. Also nice mimosas. If I lived in the area, it would be a nice weekly visit.
Wedge salad is incredible. This place is in such a touristy location and the food really doesn’t need to be THIS GOOD to attract people but it is. Just wow.
Everything here was FANTASTIC! We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. The kale salad was on point and very filling. They had local beer on tap. The guy told me the Bloody Mary was “ok” so I opted out. Beer for sale to take home as well as honey, clothes, baked good, kombucha, wine, and other odds and ends. There is a dog friendly back patio and seating out front. Don’t miss this one. Cheers 🍻
What a cool place. Couldnt have asked for a better location where you can get hygiene food, awesome coffee in the laps of beautiful red Rock mountains. The location is hypnotizing. The staff are friendly and the ace is very well maintained. Dont miss stopping for a quick bite if you are driving past.
We experienced Indian Gardens Cafe & Market this week for breakfast and we were not disappointed! I highly recommend their breakfast sandwich; it’s yummy goodness! Coffee lover: They have got you covered! Everything is organic and freshly made! Stop by this cute cafe for a tasty pastry or coffee!
I had the best breakfast burrito of my life here. I still dream about it. Would recommend 10/10.
The most adorable little market with the friendliest people and (forgive me for saying) surprisingly good coffee and a beautiful little garden patio in the back. This place is a haven. Youll love it.
Dont pass this place without stopping! So adorable! Space and food were very though out.
One of the best places to go for a meal and a beer... or a pour over of some terrific local coffee roasters. Was never disappointed in anything and saw repeat customers on our repeat visits. The back patio is very serene. Definitely recommend driving away from the touristy section and dining here instead. You can buy a bottle of wine and pay the $5 corkage fee to enjoy it in their garden.
I wanted to love this place. Had an assortment of snacks and beverages, thus allowing us to avoid the slow and painful drive into town for last minute supplies. Wish it was open in the evening. Closing at 4:00?
So yummy! The staff was so sweet and they have a great selection of delicious foods to fit any of your dietary needs! The outdoor and indoor seating is so cute and prices are great! I don’t think I can say enough great things about Indian Gardens!
This place was FANTASTIC!!! Recommended by a local, this did NOT disappoint! It was very busy when we were there, but our food came quickly. Amazing selection of craft beer and craft soda, and menu items ... it was so hard to choose what to order! I ordered the Miso Noodle Bowl, and my fiance ordered the Dan the Man sandwich. We ordered the Kale Salad to split. Probably some of the most FLAVORFUL, DELICIOUS food weve ever had. We couldnt recommend this place enough...would definitely be back! Make sure you go across the street and check out the beautiful Creek - great photo opps!
This used to be my favorite breakfast place to come on the weekends. I would drive all the way from Flagstaff to get the egg sandwich and split the berry French toast. After they reopened from covid the food just isnt the same. Im sad to say but I dont think Ill be coming here anymore because of the food. It really was perfect before . Please bring back the old menu!!!!
WHAT A GEM! This place is beloved by locals in Sedona (I heard people buzz about many places I went) and for good reason. They have an incredible healthy, creative, and wholesome menu in a homey lodge-like restaurant with a backyard full of cafe tables and blankets (in colder months). I was especially glad to see a sophisticated coffee menu including pour overs. The staff and the guests alike all seemed relaxed and happy. Its off the highway on your way to many great hiking trails.
Great food, beverages and ambiance. Love the backyard garden!!
I absolutely adore this place and we make sure we stop for lunch every time we go through Sedona. The food is so delicious and the backyard patio is beyond beautiful. We love to sit in the sun and drink our beer/wine and enjoy the beautiful gardens. They are dog friendly also and our pup loves all the attention!
One place that actually lives up to the hype! We arrived right before it opened and already a line was forming. No problem though, they ripped through the line very quickly. We grabbed a table before ordering and were happily settled in with coffee while our food was being prepared.Fast, friendly service. A beautiful location. Comfortable interior. And the food was excellent! Not over priced, either, which was a pleasant surprise. They also had coolers of beverages, bagged ice and other items to grab and go.Check this place out next time youre in the area!
Im from Austin TX and think very highly of my ability to critique tortilla-wrapped breakfasts. This was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Well done!
Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing wine. The crispy brown rice is literally one of the best dishes I have ever had. Molly was a gem! They also carry Gruner Vetliner.👽💙✌🤸♀️
I have been going to eat here my whole life, always satisfies me.
Amazing coffee and latte. Gardens behind the restaurant are incredible. Very kind people working. Perfect little spot
Greasy/too buttery bread for a breakfast sandwich. Was more along the lines of a greasy diner grilled cheese. Eggs and cheese were drowned out by the herb salsa. The salsa may have had cilantro or something similar, and I have an intolerance, so I couldnt eat mine. Strange service (we walked in to order carry out). Gets two stars for the side of greens and the good coffee drinks. We had a house coffee and a cappuccino.Note: Yavapai County never implemented a mask mandate and left it up to individual cities, towns and businesses to require masks. This business is very strictly pro-mask.
Gorgeous courtyard and a great place to relax after a long hike. Good food, not great, and a good selection of beers. The croissant was awesome.
This is my new spot for breakfast on the departure day from Sedona. You get to see some of the best views in Sedona (Oak Creek Canyon) on the way and the food is exceptional. It can get busy. Our order took a while to come but they graciously offered us a complimentary pastry for the wait. They also have a very impressive selection of craft beer making this a consideration for lunch after a hike.
Great coffee and sandwich spot with a shaded back patio
Fantastic sandwiches, great croissants, and some of the healthiest lunch choices in Sedona with a great outdoor garden in the back. A real hidden gem and a must-visit on the way to slide rock or nearby trails
One of my favorite places to go to whenever I go to Sedona! Love the back seating area and the food and coffee are wonderful!
Delicious food and a beautiful garden in the back. Great service that makes you feel welcome and taken care of
Just a great place to stop & enjoy the view.Great Coffee & variety of teas, Beers and great bites! Literally, theres something for everyone from gluten-free, organic & kosher to a great stack of pancakes! Theres blankets to wrap yourself in while you enjoy a relaxing drink in their garden just in case you forgot your sweater! They truly make you feel welcomed.
I’ll never forgive them for getting rid of the bacon Brie sandwich after the new owners took over, but the food and setting is still amazing so... I’ll let it slide
Absolutely love stopping here every time I take a trip into the canyon. The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is amazing and the service is always spot on. I can’t wait to have a couple beers on draft on the patio or buying a six pack of Togo beers when you guys re-open!
Excellent cafe outside Sedona. Outdoor seating was beautiful and cool. Love it!
Went with a friend for Brunch for the first time since they re-opened, and (hard to believe, but) their food was even better than before! We are so happy they are open again, and hope to visit again often!
A wonderful location and experience with an exceptional menu! The quintessential Sedona experience is following up a big bike ride/hike/run with a craft beer and an Indian Gardens entre on the patio. A true gem!
Caleb and crew have brought us another phenomenal foodie experience, with the re-opened IG. Glad to see the Covid-19 precautions, and wonderfully breezy open patio seating. The food was tasty, truly enjoyed the play on Chiliquilles, and the pastries were great. Such a community gem. Make sure to take a loaf of bread, or two with you on the journey home.
We found this place on a recommendation from the Air B&B we were staying at. WOW was it amazing. It really had a secret cafe feel to it. Except you can get amazing beer and full meals here. The first time we went for lunch. I dont think you can pick wrong. The food comes out quick and its obvious the ingredence are very fresh. We loved it so much in fact we stopped for breakfast on our way to Slide Rock. The coffee was very very good and the muffins and breakfast burrito were also very good. Full of flavor and again obviously fresh. This place is great stop to sit back and relax as you enjoy an excellent meal or coffee. If you are near Sedona this place is a must.
Just a great, cool place. Local friendly staff. Great food. 👍
I came here on a Sunday morning with a friend around 9:30AM, parking lot was pretty full, and wow the line was long! Although there were markers on the floor for 6-ft distancing, people werent following it and staff wasnt enforcing it either, yikes. After ordering a grilled cheese and egg, matcha latte, and cinnamon roll, we went to the outdoor seating in the back which was really nice. I dont know if all the tables back there were 6 feet apart, but there werent that many people there so I felt covid-safe, also since it was outside. Really comfortable area for sure. The food came out a bit lukewarm, and I was glad they gave me a side of salad (instead of potato salad or chips) as the cashier forgot to ask when I ordered. The sandwich was lukewarm but the flavors were good. Portions were incredibly small for the high price of $13 pre-tax for the sandwich and salad. The cinnamon roll was also quite tiny, and the frosting was simply (diluted?) cream cheese, not great. I liked the ham and nuts in the cinnamon roll though. The matcha latte was real matcha and not the sugary powder stuff which was good, but I dont know why they put it in Sri-go cup instead of a normal cup (reuse and recycle please!). Anyway, food was 3 stars, -1 star for lack of enforcing indoor covid safety.
Great little cafe, we stopped and ate at this place because I read about it maybe in a AZ highways publication. We were pretty happy with our lunch, it was cold out so we ordered soup and some sandwiches that we taste. We grabbed some glass bottle sodas that I haven’t seen since i was a kid and enjoyed those as well as the sugar buzz from them. The porch out back is pretty cool and they have Indian blankets for you to use if you want to sit outside and enjoy the views of the mountain right there.
So sorry you are still closed. 😢 I love this place and visit every year from SoCal. Looks like I will not have this experience this year. I hope you will be able to open soon. ❤️😷
Delicious pancakes! The berry and chia compote with lemon crema was so yummy! I devoured all three pancakes and bacon to boot! The coffee was also great. It was a gorgeous morning to sit out on their back patio which was like a small garden. The only drawback is if you do sit out back, there are some flying bugs but didnt ruin my experience
We went twice in one trip! This place is so cute and peaceful. They have amazing food, coffee, and drinks. IF you go the right time of year you can even get great fresh pressed cider! Please stop here, even though I would love to keep it all to myself, but I dont ever want it to slow down and close! What a hidden in the trees gem!
I have been coming in for years, used to live in AZ and this was my favorite place. The food is still great but the new look isnt nearly as cozy as it used to be. The gift item selection was so much better back in the day, with the great ceramic Garland mugs that they used to sell here. More snacks were offered on the shelves in the middle of the store as well. The colors were warmer for decor, the cushions were great on the benches. All different and more modern now, just a colder look overall and no shelves in the middle of the store. Its all gone and open now. No more great Garland mugs for sale either.
Quick stop for snacks en route to Slide Rock Park. Cinnamon roll ($4 each), lemon poppy muffin ($3.50), chocolate chip cookie ($2), PB cookie ($2), and one gallon of Arrowhead spring water ($2.50) totaled $19.07. Solid cookies. Super friendly staff. Ample parking. Worth stopping in if youre in the area.
Fantastic food and people.
This place is a gem, great patio, great staff.
Incredible menu - salads, sandwiches and melts, soul, etc. I wanted to order several things but settled on the avocado melt. The employee at the til validated my choice and she was right. It was incredible - and the pickles make the sandwich. Gluten free bread is really good.
This place is fantastic overall. Great selection of food and drinks. I love their French toast and breakfast burrito. Their baked goods are so flavorful and delicious. They roast their own coffee which is delicious. There is also a nice variety of wines and beers which can be taken to go. This is a great spot.
This my favorite place to eat in Sedona. I used to live there and know most of the places. Many restaurants with excellent dishes, but non of them with the lovely patio that Indian Garden has. Fresh salads, delicious bowls. Well go to Indian Gardens every time we visit Sedona.
My favorite restaurant in Sedona! Fresh, local food and a patio with a warm, secret garden kind of feel. Their gift shop is great too and features some nice local goods.
This little cafe’s vibe is very relaxing. It’s perfect for anytime of the day. They have amazing coffees and astounding food, both aesthetic and deliciously pleasing. 100% recommend coming here, very family friendly. I have always been impressed every time I’ve come, the staff is amazing and very kind, they always go out of their way to make sure your visit was worth while.
It’s unfortunate this place isn’t what it used to be. (New menu/owners)Hopefully this review will add motivation for change. The pizza night is the best thing going these days.I miss the sandwiches and breakfast options that used to be the best in the sedona area.Patio remains to be an amazing environment they hopefully they find their groove soon.
Proceed with Caution! Their not know for following their posted hours of operation!!! I have a love hate relationship with Indian Gardens because of their unpredictable hours. If your lucky enough to pass when their open then stop in because they have great food.
Love this place. Great to sit out back in the garden and enjoy a quality espresso drink, or a local craft brew.Good service from the friendly staff.Great place to pickup some sandwiches for on a hike, or a bottle of wine from their large selection. The only caveat is that parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy weekend.
Yah it’s awesome. Met for lunch for a non profit project meeting and our team was able to listen to crickets and sit in a garden. Eat healthy and great juice choices. There’s a lot of AZ where the food is simply fit for zombies. We will definitely hide out here again. Also great service.
FYI kitchen closed at 3pm when we went, not 4pm.
Love love love the back patio! Such a zen little atmosphere and right across from a river that was cute.Everyone was super friendly and welcoming!I ordered an iced latte which I was fond of.I had the Mama Mia sandwich and my boyfriend order the “Dan” something or another. We both weren’t disappointed but wasn’t anything to rave about. Felt like the bread was pretty tough.I would definitely return but I would want to try something else
I love this place. The food is so good it is unbelievable, both in the grocery and at the counter. I like it so much I walked up to it one day. Thats when I noticed that the sycamore had dropped a branch blocking the right of way. I got out the axe and moved that branch! It is the Rock a Bye Baby branch of song lore. Dreaming of your soup and sandwiches!
One of my favorite places in Sedona. Beautiful back patio and fantastic food and beverage friendly staff. Plus its located in beautiful Oak Creek Canyon. A must-visit if you are in the area.
A gem. We came for breakfast and both loved our meals and my latte was also fabulous. We got the breakfast burrito (try their homemade hot sauce with it too), but I am pretty sure I could have tried everything that was carried past our table. Sit outside too- it is so peaceful and the pics do not do it justice online! A must while in Sedona!
