If I could give zero stars, I would, and I’ve never said that about any place I’ve been too. Within two minutes of entering the store my son picked up a toy gun and the man working immediately began yelling at him and shouting loudly that he was breaking it and had to buy it. I was standing with him and he absolutely had not mishandled of been rough with it. We had planned to purchase it and that’s why he picked it up. I’ve never been treated so rudely. It startled my son so much he cried. We immediately left. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here. Just down the street a little ways is Sedona Artwear and Shirt. We ended up going there instead and their merchandise is much better and they were so kind to us. Much larger selection. What kind of grown man/worker screams at a 9 year old little boy, especially one who is supervised and doing nothing wrong. Terrible.

This is the cutest little store! Had all the souvenirs and trinkets I was looking for to remember my trip up to Sedona and the owner was an absolute sweetheart! My necklace broke (that I have had for a long time) and he gave my boyfriend the jewelery tools he needed to fix it. If that doesn’t say small town hospitality idk what does!! 💜 for sure will be coming back here!!

Meshach was wonderful! We drove from Flagstaff just in time to see the sunset from airport Mesa…And on our way back down we figured no stores would be open but we saw a bright shining light at around 9 PM and we are thrilled to meet Meshach! He helped us with some local artisan jewelry, art…etc.we came from Biloxi, MS with our friend who was hosted at the flagstaff observatory. Her dad was Stuart Roosa who circled The moon on the Apollo 14. We are on our way back to Mississippi tomorrow and made mini wonderful purchases. Thank you for your hospitality, Meshach!!!!!!

This is some of the worst customer experience I’ve ever experienced. The man at the desk was super rude and unwelcoming! My friend asked to try something on and he practically forced her to get the ring. Me and my other friend we’re going to buy something and after seeing the way she was treated we decided to no longer buy anything. My friend that got the ring left it in the hotel room as she didn’t want the bad energy to follow her from this interaction. If you don’t want to feel scammed don’t go to this store !!!

WOW!!! I was treated like her best friend although we had never met before. She went way beyond with customer service with an over-the-phone purchase. I would suggest for everyone to support this business. I will every time possible.

I had a great shopping experience at the Hanging Tree on my visit to Sedona. But it was the customer service I received twice after I returned home to Maryland that went above and beyond the expected. Upon returning home my daughter realized her credit card was missing. I called the Hanging Tree and Pam, the sales professional, went to the store next door to inquire if it was there and let me talk to the owner about getting it back. A month later the Hanging Tree owner, Meshach, came to my rescue again when I searched everywhere for a certain pair of Sedona socks that could only be found at his store. He packaged and mailed them to me in time for Christmas. Priceless !!!

I was in Sedona on a business trip. Unfortunately this trip caused me to miss my 2nd anniversary with my wife. I walked into the hanging tree and found these beautiful sweaters hanging close to the entrance. The lady working was already talking with another customer. I inquired about the size of one of the sweaters and both individuals were extremely helpful in picking out a sweater. The customer even tried it on for me in hopes it would fit. Well I got home excited to give my wife her anniversary gift only to find out that it didn’t fit. So I called the hanging tree and got a nice gentleman on the phone. After explaining my situation I couldn’t believe it when they remembered who I was. They allowed me to ship back the wrong size and returned back the correct size for my wife. This is something we will remember for ever. Thank you hanging tree for helping me make a memory and save my anniversary.

Went to browse, ended up finding a knife that I liked but as I was browsing I was talking to the cashier in the store. Long story shortened, was treated absolutely terrible (so much so I decided not to buy the item) and walked out. Shared my experience with some other locals and come to find out they had very similar interactions with the same individual. It would blow my mind if this guy actually sold merchandise before people just walk away. Not deserving of even the one star!

(supposed to post a week ago, why Google why?!?!)Retired army sergeant. Husband and I were walking around enjoying the sites and sounds of Sedona. Wanted a cigar, so went into this store. Store was very busy for a weekend. Gentleman behind the counter was dealing with a difficult customer but still took the time to acknowledge us and explained, hed be right with us. Gentleman finished with difficult customer and came over to help. Long story short. Gentleman was very knowledgeable about the cigars, the taste and texture. Ended up buying three, one Rocky, one romeo and a Havana for my husband. Gentleman was a little rough around the edges but very sincere and pleasant. Well defiantly be coming back.

Never been here, thought Id check it out; never again. I could over hear the cashier on the phone talking to what I assume was a bit of a difficult customer. The guy kept his cool for about 2.5 seconds before letting his temperament get the best of him and saying some very unprofessional things that some would feel discriminated. Because the store is called the Hangin Tree, is this how business is conducted regularly or just this particular individual? Anyway, I ended up walking out shaking my head along with the other couple of customers that were in the store a the time. Even if it wasnt a customer, it shouldnt have been happening in the store.

Great little shop with a great selection of souvenirs at reasonable prices. I was especially happy to find them open on Thanksgiving Day. The gentleman working was super accommodating in printing shirts for another customer too.

Shack was very helpful in that we were looking for something in particular and he actually called around to other shops and helped us find what we were looking for. The store has awesome jewelry and friendly service.

A cute little trinket/souvenir shop. Cigars, trinkets, baubles and wow they do 95% of their own clothing right there in store.

Mishak was very helpful. We are from out of town and in Sedona during a snow storm. 🌞 But he gave us directions and walked us through the safest route to drive. His shop has a lot of great souvenirs! Check it out! 🌞🌞🌞
