I love the staff, the cleanliness, the great produce and the fact if they dont carry something but you ask theyll order it! They are friendly and always helpful.

Amazing store, I love that this is here. These are so many of the products that I would hope come to this town.If I could suggest one things its that your compact footprint would be helped by a more dense variety. Your baking set has plenty of flour and zero alternative flours. Cut down some of those facings of flour and put up a couple of facings of alternative flour. Same with the olive oil. You are NEVER going to run out of olive oil but you simultaneously are missing a lot of different cooking oils that you could have. I only say this because I want to see this store flourish.

Super small but it is fitting for the area.They have everything the food pavilion has thats only a few blocks away.It is just down sized.This is in no way to be taken as a negative review.This is within walking distance for a lot of people in the area and they get to avoid Highway 20.I have gone there several times for something the big store didnt have.

Carol and 3 other coworkers were standing at her station gabbing. Instead of helping the other guy with a line of 4 people. Its convenient if you forgot something for a meal. The prices are high though. But I do enjoy their spice section, its the only place I can find a large bottle of onion powder.

Surprisingly good selection for a small store and although the prices were slightly higher than larger chains, Id gladly pay 5 cents more for a can of beans (used for example only ;) ) than to have to step foot in a Walmart, if all I need is a few things. Cashiers were also very friendly and helpful, even taking the time to walk me over and show me a deal they thought I might have missed. . . They were right and I ended up leaving with the item they suggested, too. Also, very glad to have an alternative to Food Pavilion, as I think the quality, value and cleanliness of that store has suffered greatly the past couple decades. . .

So happy this came to town! Much preferred over Food Pavilion and Fred Meyer.

Came through the town on the way to North Cascades National Park and was going to stop for some sandwich supplies. We were pleasantly surprised to see their great selection of both cold sandwiches and hot food. The chicken strip combo is amazing. Very cheap, good chicken and great fries.Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a nice place to sit down and eat and the atmosphere is great.

It was a really nice experience. I used to go there when it was Thrifty Foods. All these years later and the service is great. Its nice to have because the pandemic is very stressful. Employees still have smiles.

Quality cuts of meat,good produce, good selections

Pioneer Marketplace has really done a great job of offering foods to meet a wide variety of tastes. I especially appreciate the nitrite/nitrate free bacon. They have beautiful (and delicious) produce, and a great deli as well. I highly recommend the homemade potato salad.Pioneer Marketplace is a wonderful addition to the Sedro-Woolley community.

Nice little mom and pop grocery store, who has great local meats and produce.

Better than the food pavillion. Their produce and deli food are fresh. It is a small store but they have an okay variety of groceries and items. Staff are always helpful and the cashiers greet customers coming inside the store when they are not checking any customers out.

The walk in beer fridge here saved my life during the heat bubble days.

We finally have an in town grocery that is helpful and courtesy bound - They have been very helpful to me in time that I have not been able to leave the house with an employee that delivers. They may not always have what we want but they are trying hard to stock what our towns people use and need. Friendly staff, good sandwiches.

Good store from the looks of it although missing a few common spices. Very clean and professional looking. However there are a handful of gentlemen here that must believe I am a shoplifter because as I browse I notice them watching me or walking by the aisle Im in continuously. I have noticed this and it makes me very uncomfortable as a shopper. They even watched me purchase my groceries and observed me as I left. Again makes me feel very uncomfortable as a shopper. Especially when only one person has helped me if I needed help finding anything and that was a portly gentleman that worked in produce.

Small grocery store, but really has quite a bit of variety and stocked shelves to shop. Always seems clean and well kept.

Like a smaller version of a World Class Upper Crust Super Market! And I mean that in the kindest way possible. Perfectly Presented Produce. Well stocked shelves, laid out logically. Over-Qualified Clerks. Comfortable Deli. Whats NOT to love?

Nice clean and friendly environment. Would deffiently reccomend. However, prices are a bit higher than other competitors. But all in all a good place to go.

I mentioned to the cashier that I couldnt find the brand I wanted and wasnt sure Id like the odd brand they carried. She was right, it was better than my usual. Next visit in...there was my brand, next to my new favorite, plus another. Being listened to feels so strange and wonderful. Almost like they think their customers are important or something. So glad they came to town.

Best choice for icecream

One hidden gem about this place is that their breakfast burrito, especially the bacon one is not dried out but has the hash brown, egg, tons of cheese and the bacon is high quality and THICK pieces. Also u can get a large 32oz fountain drink (Pepsi products) for only $1.29

A little pricey but I will pay to support local small business. Produce is good and staff friendly and convenient for a quick stop to grab a few things.

Awesome place to shop, i have gotten to know the employees well, being that i am in there almost daily... Very friendly service and go out of their way to try and make sure you get what you want or need.

What a nice neighborhood grocery! Every employee that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Some of the prices are a little bit higher but the sale items were comparable.

We have needed an affordable grocery store in Sedro Woolley for along time. I dont bother shopping at Food Pavilion to expensive but Pioneer Marketplace is affordable, friendly and helpful. My children hate long shopping trips so theyre happy to have a new grocery store in town.

Locally-owned grocery store that beats the others in town in quality, availability and food that is NOT past date (like the big one in town is known for), Prices appear to be a few cents more, but worth it for the convenience and quality and knowing we are supporting a local store that has pride.

The Chicken from the deli is horrible its dry and burnt. The breading or crust tastes dry and gritty. I will never buy from the deli again!!
