I’ve been going to Time Capsule every since I was 15 while I was a freshman in high school. (2015) I’ve bought almost half they’re entire collection of vintage video games for my game collection. The games are cheap and in good condition. Jeff (The owner) is a very kind good man, he knows a lot about comics and video games. I love Time Capsule.

Huge selection of trades and issues. Staff was beyond helpful and I left with a stack of books and a smile on my face. Couldnt recommend more!

We love this place! We make it point to go when we are in the area to visit family. Jeff is the best, and always has solid recommendations for our teenagers of awesome reading 4hat is right in line with their particular tastes.

Called to see if they were interested in a collection. They guy from the seekonk store stopped me at about 5 items in and was not kind at all. I have a large collection and its an odd business that stops a person before hearing what they can offer. Very disappointing but moving on take care angood luck

Don’t usually write reviews but i love this place, went in there a few days ago and im going to go in today. I love to get stacks of comic books or manga since i usually read many in one sitting. They have a great collection of comics, manga, records, etc. Good prices and i like that there’s still a selection of new comics and books usually weekly. Also havent done it but I think they have certain days you can bring in old comic books/records/etc to sell so thats cool too. Overall nice place and im glad i live so close!

Nice place to visit, good chance you will find something you have been looking for.

Very outdated records. Seems as though the majority were all from the 70s and before of no name artists. Would have been nice to have more variety and updated vinyl. Didnt see anything from the Misfits or Black Crowes and those specific bands are very well known. I understand the title of the store, but its vinyl.. Of course its a time capsule 🙄

Always something cool to find! Im a DJ, gamer and collector. There is a great collection of records spanning different genres and are well organized. The video game section usually has a few gems scattered in along with some good deals on replacement cables and controllers for some retro consoles. Friendly staff!

Hreat olace with LOTS of cool old nostalgia. Yes they have LOTS of new and used comic books but they also have records, 45s, video games, figurines, old board games and much, much more. Its a wonderful place to explore tgat I woukd highly recommend.

Records were not worth looking through. Terrible organization and condition. Prices were well above market value. But there’s lots there and staff seems nice.

If youre into nostalgia this is the place to be.

I took my son here to check out the huge used vinyl record collection. He was amazed. They have a lot of great records. We found a Led Zeppelin - House of The Holy for only $20 in mint condition!!!!

The guys are kinda grumpy but they have a huge selection of music, comics, video games, manga and other things

Went in to look at records, one guy was there i didnt know if he was a worker or customer! Because i spent about 1/2 -45 minutes in there .. and not a word was uttered... no “ can i help you “ no “If you need anything” ..... nothing just distance stare ... that was a lil weird. So creepy would be the word here and just in time for Halloween. And when I walked to the . back of the store right by the guy not a word. Just looked at me. I won’t be back here

This place is awesome. I go over few weeks when the inventory has had a chance to cycle. The guys that work here are friendly and know whats what with the stuff the have. Love coming here

Great comic book store with a nice selection of new and old comics. Also has since records and collectibles. One of my favorite things its that they carry a reasonable selection of comics my younger daughter likes as well as all the expected Marvel and DC stuff. Also has a good number of indie comics. Friendly staff makes it even better.

Comic book and vinyl fans rejoice. This little shop has a wonderful arrangement of geek culture from the past. While there are some current items, an array of video games spanning many generations, and other such memorabilia, they truly specialize in comics and vinyls. They are well organized and reasonable to good prices. A great, relaxed vibe, with friendly staff.

Love this place. In addition to their comic book knowledge the guys at time capsule create a welcoming environment for kids and fans of all types. I got some new comics my boys love manga. We even picked up some vintage collectables. Such a cool place!

A small place with a variety of comics to choose from. Love there records. Owners are friendly & are always willing to help out when your looking for something that may be hard to find. My favorite thing in the store though is the huge Freddy Kruger statue!!!

This comic book store is awesome, starting with %50 off Marvel and DC back issues! Store itself was lowkey, I drove right by it the first time, maybe needs some more signage but besides that, nothing but positive review from me. Ive been to all the shops around here during my visit in the last 10 days, and this place has the best prices on back issues with an extensive inventory. All kinds of stuff I was looking for. Seemed to be one of the busier places midday, but the layout of the place still allowed navigation while people dug through boxes. Boxes of books everywhere. If I revisit a comic store during my trip it will be this one, and when I come back to Rhode Island Ill return for sure. Incredible back issue collection of 70s and 80s Marvel and DC classics!!!

This is the absolute coolest comic store I have found in a long time, you feel like you are stepping back in time! The store is bigger than it looks and holds a wide variety of vinyls, books, comics, and collectibles. Stop in here to find a gift or something for yourself!

We drove past this place at first (it is camouflaged in greenery, lol); but Im glad we doubled back and found it... Initially we came here to record shop, but I think this place is much stronger as a comic shop than a record store (which suits me fine). The guys working let you browse in peace, but they were nice. Good selection of graphic novels too.

Guy working at the desk was really friendly and they have a ton of stuff. Definitely check it out if you like anything comic book, gaming or vintage related :) definitely going back

The Time Capsule is a great place to get new and used comics and vintage records. The staff is always nice and they go out of their way. Tons of current comics as well as merchandise.

Dark and dingy in the best possible way. Throwback to how things used to be. Nice selection of comics. Back issues range across all conditions, but are priced fairly, especially since the bins are all 1/2 price. They also tend to give you an additional discount if youre spending a lot which is always appreciated. The staff at this location is friendly and helpful. Not as good of a record selection as the Cranston store. Nice selection of vintage video games.

Vintage kitchy with 40 something year olds and virgins... EXACTLY what you would expect from a great comic book store. Really good pricing and also great albums

As someone who has been living off his older brothers comic book collection his whole life I was pretty set, until I finished basically every copy of his stash...So I then decided I should check out my local comic book store! When I walked in I thought it had a cool atmosphere and lots of comics, so I was basically satisfied immediately. But what was even cooler was how cool the owner was, a real nice guy. I had picked up an X-Men story that got us talking and he recommended to me what is now one of my favorite stories and gave me a fair discount as well. Great place, get prepared to get stuck there talking comics for 20 minutes at a time tho lol

I like this store. Its got a little bit of everything. Love the old game systems. And the owner is very friendly and chatted with us for a bit. Wish there were more stores like this around. When a store sells cool stuff and then on top of it the staff are awesome as well what more can you ask for

I absolutely love this store. I wouldnt completely recommend it if youre looking for something in particular, unless if you call the owner and see if he has it. I say this because the store is a little small and may not have exactly what youre looking for. I have yet to have this experience though. I usually find what I am looking for in this store. However, this store is perfect for browsing through and gathering memorabilia from your childhood. They have games for every console and usually sell each type. They have soooooo many comic books and manga to pick from. And the before mentioned store owner is super down to earth and helpful. Overall, a fantastic place to visit.

I brought my 2.5 year old son to Time Capsule as he was suddenly asking me for a Star Wars book(he is obsessed with Darth Vader.) I was impressed by the selection of comic books and how accommodating the staff was even to a very young child. They even pointed out a specific Star Wars comic book series made for kids. It really made our afternoon and my son is extremely happy that he now has 3 Star Wars books. My son and I have truly enjoyed reading them together and at his age I really value any reading/education that does not come from a tablet or cell phone. Great local business and I will continue to support them. Thanks again guys.

I love both Time Capsules. If you love comics, graphic novels, video games and music (think Vinyl heaven!), action figures, and just awesome everything, You will love the Time Capsule. The one on Rt.6 in Seekonk is smaller than Cranston but the staff is equally as nice, knowledgeable and chill. I could spend hours in there just flipping threw records and digging threw comics. Plus they sell new release comics (obviously) as well. This place is a paycheck killer for me, but in the best way possible. (Haha). Just writing this Id making me want to make a visit.
