My daughter came downstairs in a panic that her phone didn’t charge overnight and it shut off due to a dead battery. I made an appointment for that morning at the genius bar at the local ‘fruit’ store and they diagnosed a bad logic board. They told me the phone was dead and because it was old, it was time to replace it - absolutely nothing they could do for me. Meanwhile, the symbol keeps showing the screen that the battery was dead – how can that be a bad logic board?? They refused to at least try to replace the battery so that I could get the latest backup. I left there completely disgusted and went straight to Batteries Plus in Seekonk. Within 5 minutes, they diagnosed a charge port issue, replaced it and the phone booted back up after a few minutes of charging. Nothing was lost, my daughter was ecstatic and now the phone does nightly backups to the cloud. Thank you!!!

I purchased 2 batteries for my watches.As of late I have purchased 3 new watches. Starting with 1st bad choice the saleswoman told it was the last one in-store. It hasnt kept correct time since I purchased it. Plan to return it today. Second watch too big for my wrist that one. I returned . Now the most recent runs . But, I have see a jeweler. Too big for my wrist. Such.

This review is somewhat directed at the Seekonk store, and somewhat directed at corporate. I ordered an item online, and received a confirmation that the item was in stock in Seekonk and that I could pick it up next day. I was to receive a confirmation email from the Seekonk store as to time that I could arrive for curbside pickup. The next day arrived, and I still had not received that final email. I called the store and spoke to the manager who informed me that the item was actually not in stock and that it would take nearly a week to arrive if there were no shipping delays. He offered to hold the order in the system because I needed the item immediately and wanted to consider my options. Later that night, I decided not to get it. The store was closed, so I visited the corporate website, and found no way to cancel the order online, but instead found a phone number to dial regarding online orders. No surprise, the line was not answered, and I was prompted to leave a message. I did not receive a reply to the voicemail I left until 2 business days later in the form of a return voicemail. The person who left the voicemail was barely articulate, and directed me right back to the Seekonk store. So today I called the store to cancel the order. The sales associate asked me questions, and then kept acknowledging me with okay (as in to continue, but then would stop me to repeat the steps over again. The first time I gave my credit card number to initiate a refund, he told me the card was invalid (even though it was the card on the order). It took him two more tries before the manager interceded. I find it egregious that Batteries & Bulbs accepts payment for items it claims are in stock when they are actually not in stock, and more egregious that I should have to spend so much time and effort on what should have been an inexpensive get-in-and-out type of purchase. I suggest that the associate be provided more training in customer service, and that Batteries & Bulbs should have a more accurate inventory management system.

Great experience! After getting the run-around from a big name shop, I called these guys for a battery replacement for my iPhone. I was nervous about getting it serviced outside the official Apple store, but the tech I spoke with on the phone was confident and extremely familiar with the process, even quoting the price off the top of his head. I walked in, was greeted by a professional tech, handed over my phone, and watched as he did a full battery change and cleaning right in front of me.I wish I’d known how easy this was going to be. I would have done it months earlier.

I wanted to give credit to Josh and Justin. They were both extremely friendly and helpful. I needed a Mazda 3 2012 transponderkey replacement. I didn’t have enough money to pay the dealer $300. So I bought the keys on amazon and went there to have them cut and programmme them. They were unbelievably helpful. Most companies will make you buy the keys through them. Nope, I was in and out in 14mins for $40. Anyhow, thank you very much again and I will be sending my friends there as well.I’m very grateful for the help and hospitality.

Great experience. Needed a new car battery. Checked site online, which quickly and easily showed availability of correct battery for my car in store nearest me. Bought it online for delivery in store and got 10% reduction, which brought the installed price lower than most competitors. Store staffer installed it right in front lot and did a fine job on a battery a bit harder to install than expected on a cold day. Very pleased.

Just had a negative experience with Batteries Plus. Carl was extremely rude. I had a problem with a battery I bought there and brought back to have tested. They didnt even have a volt meter. Carl just called for me to pick up the battery and couldnt give me any information about the battery besides it was charged. This guy was beyond rude. Both the other day and today. The sad thing is I have spent a decent amount of money there between golf cart batteries, wheelchair batteries, and smaller batteries........... .Update.......... After returning and working with Josh my experience there was much better. I just had a charger tested on the spot and they seemed it bad and swapped for a new one. I have changed my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star.

I was hoping that being a battery store, the prices would have been more reasonable but they werent. Its nice to have a place to take old used batteries to. The employee was very helpful and nice. 🙂

Excellent for all lead acid batteries... no lipos.. not that i needed them... usually would go to amazon for those.. better selection than local competitors. I got 3 sla 12volt 10amp . Durracell.. for about 50 bucks each. Not back..idk about bulbs...

5/5 stars for lying. 0/5 stars for customer serviceDecember 2017: I brought my beats solo headphones to Batteries + Bulbs to get the broken headband fixed. I was told that they could be fixed and would be done within the following week.2 weeks later: Josh, the store manager, called and told me that the headphones had been irreparably broken while being fixed by an employee. Not great news since I had a 6 hr flight in 3 days and would need them on the flight. He immediately offered to issue a gift card for the value of the broken beats. Awesome! I replaced them myself in expectation of this gift card.In hindsight Josh had no intention of actually issuing this gift card. Since he made the offer, I have made countless phone calls, visited the store, and supplied my mailing address all for this elusive gift card. Most recently he promised to send the card a month ago when I resorted to emailing corporate. I was told he would call when the gift card was mailed and asked to check in when received. Yet on the 1 year anniversary of my unwanted relationship with Batteries + Bulbs I have no gift card and no call from Josh.I can tolerate broken headphones and the cost to replace them. The lies, inconveniences, and wasted time though? Nope

Not good. I special ordered a battery for my 2009 Lexus GS 350. The specified Number 24 size battery was 1/4 inches too tall to fit the battery box in the Lexus.The technician was wonderful, not so the manager who was arrogant, superior, and curt. He would not listen to me when I tried to explain that not all brands of size 24 were the same. I went down the street to Advance Auto Parts and their Autocraft brand 24 fit correctly.I was in and out in ten minutes after wasting an hour at Battery and Bulbs.

Worst customer service! We just left beyond annoyed. Associates were beyond rude and disrespectful. They couldn’t/wouldn’t answer why the website said they had something in stock and then they told us they don’t carry it. I suggest you train your employees on how to speak to customers. This is especially upsetting as someone who has a training background in customer service and sales. I do NOT recommend this location.
