On short notice I called the office and they said “Yes, come in now we can take you.” They have a friendly staff and very helpful. I was in/out in 30 minutes and Dr. Wolfe was super friendly, informative and even googled some images to show me examples of my concerns.

The office was very modern, the appointment had very little wait time and and frame options were interesting and varied. staff was attentive and the doctor was pleasant and direct. recommended

I went in to get contacts. Did the eye exam. Gave me a pair of contacts to try. I call back later in tears telling them they hurt my eyes getting them in and out.(I have had contacts for years no problem.) I tell them and Oh no they wouldnt get the kind I had before that were comfortable easy in easy out. They told me they will order some more. I said if they were the same kind I didnt want them because they hurt. Apparently they wouldnt. The bad part is I used my insurance and it is not cheap to pay for a whole other exam. I dont understand how some one can be so unsensitive to a patient. Dont waste your time or money with this one.

Dr Wolfe was amazing and the staff was as well. They are thorough and take the time to actually listen to their patients to find them the right fit for their contacts.

After reading the reviews about Dr. Wolfe and his staff, my experience validates these opinions.I moved to Seguin from out of state, where the same eye doctor treated me for 25 years. Two years ago, I had a routine exam with Dr. Wolfe and was pleased with this first visit. Ten months later, I was seeing him for an emergency torn retina. He efficiently made arrangements for my surgery and followed up with genuine concern about the health of my eyes. On my most recent office visit, he clearly showed me the surgical repair of my retina, the start of a cataract and other floaters. He also provided an excellent Rx for new glasses. The correction pleasantly exceeded my expectations. In addition, he made an appointment for me to see another trusted specialist to ensure my eyes are getting the best possible care.Bottom Line: Whether you have simple or complex vision needs, Dr. Wolfe and his Vision Source Staff are simply the BEST!

They are amazing. Starting with the office staff that greets you right away and talk you through everything you need to know. Dr.Wolfe is amazing here takes his time and cares and explains everything. Marc is awesome he knows how to take care of the patients!!

One of the best doctors Ive ever seen. He carefully and clearly explains your situation and answers questions you didnt even know that you had. All staff is courteous, honest and eager to serve.

I’ve gone to optometrists my entire life. None of the doctors I’ve visited have ever taken the time to sit with me to explain with care all of the causes of my bad eyesight. Dr. Wolfe was genuine, caring, and very knowledgeable. I’ve changed optometrists frequently over the years and never really thought anything of it, but now I know that I’ve found a Dr. that tries to make a difference!

Talented and trustworthy. I wish I could give him more stars. I just returned from an exam with Dr. Stephen Wolfe. He was fabulous!!! I have had a lot of problems with my eyes in the past year. In fact, I flew up to Kansas City to meet with a renown group of ophthalmologists that did my lasik 19 years, ago. Dr. Wolfes exam, explanations, equipment were either on par or better!!! ... And his prescription was better!!! SO IMPRESSIVE! On top of that, his office is beautiful. :) I made a special request to have nose pads fixed onto hard frames for a better fit. I have only found three opticians who could do this: NYC, Santa Fe, and Austin. He said that he would check into it. Later that same afternoon, he called me at home to say that his lab could do it! I was so excited. I told him what a comfort is was for me to have someone of his talent in Seguin. I think my eye problems are going to nag me a bit for awhile. Its wonderful to have someone I can trust close by.

Great Experience with the staff and physician. He explained everything about my vision issues and eye exam and also had a great staff. Carmen was helpful to find me the glasses that suited me best.

Dr Stephen Wolfe is great! He is very good at explaining each and every step. Modern equipment and his staff are very nice! My only place to go from now on!

I walked in on Monday morning around 8 when Dr. Wolfe was just opening up the office without an appointment, he kindly greeted my wife and I, and said he could start seeing me right away. He quickly assessed my eye which had a piece of metal in the cornea, removed it and prescribed medication...every step of the way he explained the treatment plan, was very thorough and asked me to follow up so that he could make sure my eye was healing correctly. Medication that he prescribed was affordable. I dont have vision insurance so I thought the fee that was charged was acceptable, especially since it had to do with my vision, which is important to me. :)... Office and equipment used is up to date, very nice. Dr. Wolfe and Carmen which was the receptionist there at the time are very friendly, in fact my wife and daughter will be going there for there vision exams... I highly recommend them, I used to go to Zunker & Krohn and associates but I will switch to Dr. Wolfe from now on..

My family and I had an excellent experience with Dr Wolfe. He had my prescription dead on! I shoot firearms and hunt and I have never had this much ease in sighting targets. We had our appointment in San Antonio at a clinic on Potranco rd. He no longer fills in at this location. I am going to use a different Dr and may drive to Seguin if the results are not as amazing.
