I normally go out of my way to avoid the Severna Park store but they have all new people and the store is clean. I asked a young man at the cutting table a question about a fabric. He was so friendly and ran and grabbed everything they had in the store that could possibly substitute what I was looking for. He is one of the best people Ive had the pleasure of dealing with recently. Will definitely continue going to this location.

This place was a God send for finding decor for my daughters greenery baby shower theme. They had the baskets, crafting supplies, ribbons and florals needed to create a great event. They have Great coupons, too! Having a dollar tree next door was such a bonus and convenience for getting frames and other items on budget.

I like the store for fabric, but nothing else. There isnt a huge selection for paper crafts, kids crafts. I prefer going to the store in Columbia or Towson.

Always recieve great service and enjoy my time spent shopping here. Only thing I think needs improvement is their prices. Coupons are always pretty good but items that are not on sale or excluded from coupons are pricey. Love Joanns and can not wait to make it back soon!

Great selection of fabric as well as mare

Great clearance selection and the always have tons of sales going on. Highly recommend getting the text service as I get weekly coupons with it! Only downside is they seem a bit understaffed so prices are not always clearly marked.

Since the AC Moore across the street has closed, JoANN is our only craft store option. The service is always excellent but the prices dont compare well to Amazon or even Home Depot for anything except their fabrics. Presumably a great niche for sewers and scrapbookers but not for much else...

As I sit in my vehicle in front of the store, Im livid. I went in to purchase supplies for 14 wedding bouquets that I have to do. I wanted a particular ribbon and in my web search saw that JoAnns has this available. I tried for about 15 minutes to find it myself before asking an associate Linda for assistance. I showed her the picture from the website, she asked me the following questions after sighing do you have an item number, how wide is it, what brand? I continued to search on my own before approaching Linda again. I asked her if they had any eggplant ribbon. She said she was looking on the computer because it was hard to just search. In a matter of minutes, she took two phone calls and tended to other customers while I continued my search. I decided to leave and try my luck with Michaels or Walmart. She looked me dead in my face as I was leaving and did not bother to say she couldnt find it, show me something similar or communicate anything else. I wanted to purchase fabric as well but decided to try my luck elsewhere. First and last time in a JoAnns store. #wrongneckofthewoods

Thanksgiving sale was excellent. My wofe grabbed 3 yards of two fabrics for a super good price. Made an excellent knot blankett

My first visit to this location and I will definitely be returning. The store was fairly busy and Michelle had her hands full cutting fabric alone but she was very patient and pleasant with every customer. The cashier Tina also gave extraordinary customer service. The store was clean and bright unlike the other location I usually shop at. The selection of material was also great. Best part of my experience I got a dress form for an amazing price between the sale and coupon it was more than 50% off.

This store is a breath of fresh air compared to the Columbia location. It is a small store with a decent selection of apparel, quilting and home decorating fabric. The cutting counter line seems to be a problem - please fix your numbers system so people can have an organized experience. I visited on a busy Saturday middle of the day and even though the store was busy, it was still in pretty respectably organized shape. Employees are helpful, without asking for help, one employee who was putting away fabric asked if I needed help, suggested a couple additional products and lead me directly to what I was looking for.

Love the bead making products, wish they carried more. Check out their clearance section while supplies last.

This JOANN is located in the cut off of Ritchie Hwy. Its spacious and the young lady named LEE was very profesional on the phone and in person after inquiring about a certain item. Made for an excellent shopping experience. Would highly recommend this location.

I have always been a crochet person but recently got into sewing. So I have become a fan of Joann Fabrics. I can do one stop shopping (yarn and fabric). The staff helping and customer service orientated. The store is Uber neat. I also love the Joann app where I get my coupons.

I called to put some fabric on hold and the man who helped me was extremely friendly and helpful. When I arrived, everybody else was equally as upbeat and kind.

They really don’t even deserve one star but that’s not an option. I understand that you don’t have products all the time. But when you call me and you say you have a great selection of what I ask for and you tell me you have what I need exactly and then I go to your store and you don’t have it is messed up. I will never shop there again. I don’t expect to be lied to.

When your local craft store doesnt have it, try this one. Store is usually pretty clean and theres a lot of merchandise here for all kinds of crafts. For yarn artists (crocheters, knitters, etc.), theres a surprising amount of yarn, books and supplies here. Employees, at least when I am here, tend not to be very engaging - but the store is conveniently located and theres usually plenty of parking.

I had to take my 4yr old daughter there. We were making a hedgehog pillow for my wife for her Xmas present. My daughter likes to see and she made it with my mother n laws for my wifes Xmas gift. Needless to say I know nothing about sewing or fabric and the ladies at Joanns fabric were awesome and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Especially dads to do a project with your daughter.

The cashier was Rude, Loud and visibly didnt want to be there. The store was out of Aida Cloth and there were only 3 employees. The mean cashier and 2 employees cutting cloth. The line for the cloth cutting was all the way back to rear wall. Worst Experience Ever!

Another mission day for Sewing Class was a success. Doorbuster Deal on fabric quarters was the reason we were there this time so it took some time finding matches and coordinating pieces to complete several lap quilts. I really believe they are going to like the choices we made.

I love crafting

I havent been into a Jo-Anns fabrics in years and thats saying a lot because I am a professional artist. I usually go to Michaels or AC Moore but I saw the Jo-Anns and figured I would check it out. The store was super dirty and had a little selection, but everything was very high price and expensive compared to AC Moore or Michaels. The staff was extremely rude. I had my three-year-old with me and he really had to use the restroom, he was about to pee his pants and the lady said that she had to walk us to the back to get to it. And even though he was dancing around saying it was an emergency and I was saying try to hold it she continued to assist a woman looking at buttons for another 10 minutes. eventually another woman came out of the back and I asked her if she could escort us to the restroom, and she just asked the other lady to do it so finally she left this lady looking at buttons for 10 minutes and escorted us to the restroom. The restroom smelled horrible and was extremely dirty. then we were going to check out and my son press the call for help button that was sitting on the counter because hes 3 years old and just wanted to check it out. the lady behind the counter started huffing and puffing and making noises like she was mad and snatch the button away from him. Even though she was already there and he is just a little kid. The only woman that was nice there was a middle-aged black woman. She was very helpful and attentive and went above and beyond to help me with something even though it wasnt something that they offered in their store. The other two women on duty especially the thin woman with long brown hair and glasses were rude and treated my son like he was the biggest nuisance in the world even though we were in there shopping for him to buy his dad a Fathers day gifts. after I left I saw an AC Moore across the street and have decided that if Im ever in the area I will never return to this Jo-Ann fabric.

I was able to get everything I needed when I visited and the staff was helpful except for Tammy. Im assuming she is the manager since she seemed to be running the show. She came off as rude and spiteful. All of my questions seemed to annoy her. I think she thought she was being funny, but her idea of humor at my expense was just plain awful customer service. Ive worked retail jobs and every job Ive had since then requires great customer service even in a professional work environment. I would never talk to a customer the way she did. Maybe she was having a bad day but you leave that outside the moment you get to work. This was my first and last trip to this location. Ill take my business elsewhere.

The selection of fabric is meh at best. The used to be better but in recent years their fabric selection is very hit or miss. Yarn is okay. Good selection of coupons on their app so go download that thing!

The employees are always very helpful. Theyll help you choose the best coupon to get the best discount. Of course they help with choosing the right fabric. If you need something, they can tell you which store has it.

This JoAnn was seriously understaffed the day I was there, but there was somehow no line for fabric cutting (although there was a long line for the cashier). The staff were friendly and helpful, including pulling down items for me from the top shelf, and items generally seemed a little better organized than at other locations. They had the fabric I was looking for in stock, which multiple other locations did not. Overall a good experience

This store is somewhat small, crowded, and a bit dirty. They need a remodel and twice as much floor space. An easily accessible restroom would be great, as well as a room for craft classes for kids and adults.

Ive always experience the best customer service in Joanns. They do a great job in helping and giving you ideas on your project.

I was not at all happy with the service. The young lady was not at all knowledgable with the products sold in the store. I asked about iron on tape for marking clothes . ( My mother is in a nursing home and all her things must be marked). The young lady took me to the double sided tape and told me to use that. I explained it was not what I was looking for. She said well thats all we have and honestly not very nicely. I searched and I did find the tape myself. She could not care less if I needed any more help or not. Wal mart sells fabric and AC Moore across the street sells all the rest of the crafting things I might need.I drove 45 minutes out of my way thinking I would have a better chance of getting this tape. I wont do that again. I used to love Joann Fabric. Spent many hours looking at fabrics and patterns. I wont waste my time or gas driving to this one. ( the Joanns I went to closed.)

Waited in a line to ask a question. Then waited again to have the fabric cut. Then had to wait in the the longest line to check out. I probably spent an hour in the store for $7 of fabric. They are obviously short-staffed.

Dont ever try to call this place and ask a question. I was put on hold for 15 minutes twice, and then they said they would call back. I left them my number but they never called back. Dont think I will be shopping at this location, due to their lack of care for customers.

Staff was very quiet. I encountered four employees and even made eye contact and none of them asked if they could help me find anything. Fabric selection was OK. Other areas of the store were lacking in variety.

Came in to grab fabric to use for greenscreen effects. Definitely was an out-of-the-ordinary request, bur staff were knowledgeable and able to point out the best types of fabric for the job based on the qualities I asked for, and it has been working great!

Staff was nice. But craft selection was limited! This is just basically a fabric store. Had glue and paints but nothing like other joann stores. Also some items werent the same sale as other Joann stores. I was very upset with their craft selection!

Its one of the smaller Jo-Ann stores, so the fabric selection is somewhat limited with regards to specialty items (such as upholstery fabrics), but otherwise, it is well stocked and the staff is helpful.
