What a great little shop here in Severna Park! Over the past year or so Bulldog has expanded theyre bike selection significantly! Jan was great showing me and my family around...my 3 year daughter absolutely loved the bull dog (who even has her own fenced in patio complete with a doggie door from the main workshop). Happy to see another Specialized bicycle dealer in town and will recommend Bull Dog to just about anyone out there looking for a decently priced Kayak or Bike.
Kindest business owner with the most helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant staff. Huffy the bulldog is the worth the visit alone, she’s so adorable. Highly recommend you give this place a chance. Thank you Steve for your help with our bikes, we greatly appreciate you!!
The employee assistance and attention to customers was excellent. The service on my bike was excellent and timely! I
Would not be a bad place if their employees Brittany & Marc would keep their drug use to their own vehicle or in their own household. I think its very unprofessional to allow your employees to have free range on using drugs on the premises, especially in a FAMILY business with children walking around, but what was even worse, it wasnt pot or a beer, it was literally a crack pipe or meth pipe, one of the two. Im not sure if the owner is aware of these activities but I choose to not allow my children to be around inappropriate things like that, I believe other parents will feel the same. I would feel horrible guilt if I didnt mention something & an innocent child was to be subjected to such things. The owner is super nice & awesome, I feel bad that his employees choose to do such things & I feel bad for him that his employees dont have enough respect to follow his rules to provide a safe & friendly work environment. His employees seem to be trying to take advantage of him. How they speak to him in front of customers is rather disgusting. If you want to be around people that smell, obviously dont care if anybody sees their drug use, or have your children subjected to drug use, this is the place for you!
Very easy to work with on our new bike thanks
Joe was very patient with us! We arrived right before they closed and they took great care of us. Thank you!
Purchased a Kayak through Bulldog. They are very knowledgeable and provided great guidance on selecting the right kayak to meet my needs. They included a paddle and a life jacket! Oh, an delivered to my home. It’s great when we may support local businesses.
Extremely unprofessional. I stopped by at this place to buy a kayak. I was very exited to see that they have kayaks available especially through pandemic. The guy who was outside said that there are two kayaks that are 20% reduced in price, but I didn’t like them. I asked him if there are any reduction on the other kayaks. He went in to check with the owner. Then came back saying if we pay cash it’s 680 and with card 749.99. After we thought about it we went to get cash and then called them. Another owner then answered. She said that what the other owner said was unacceptable and the kayaks are 749.99 firm. I feel that there are alot of miscommunication goes on in this place with the staff.
Mike and the Bulldog team were amazing. They worked with me for a reasonably priced repair and in the end to find a better bike for my daughter. They took the time to size it properly, tune it and everything. Ive never felt better about investing in a bike before. Thanks Bulldogs!
Got lacrosse gear from them. The owner is so so so kind. Great selection. Awesome customer service. Highly recommend!
Very nice and professional. They are a nice bike shop, and also have a large selection of used kayaks. Plus selling LAX gear. The bulldog is cute and friendly too.
Good prices and great service when I purchased a kayak.
Found this place today after deciding to fix up my old Raleigh c30 bike. Mike is great, and was very knowledgeable. The other staff there were wonderful too!Mike walked me through the options to get my bike back on the road, gave me a quote, and I left it there Saturday morning around 11am. I got a call an hour later that it was already fixed and ready for pick up! Came to get it and he had really gone the extra mile. Not only did he put the new tires and tubes on that I paid for, he cleaned it up, oiled everything, and scrubbed off all the rust. It looked great!I got to meet Huffy too, the shops namesake English bulldog. What a sweetheart. My son sat playing with her the whole time I was checking out. (Note from him: he wanted me to make sure I included that he got to talk with the owner and staff while Mom was checking out, and says they were very nice. Very kid/family friendly.)Overall, fair prices, fast service, and good work. Not being an avid/knowledgeable cyclist, some of the other shops were intimidating and even a bit condescending. We had a great experience at this local, neighborhood business that is welcoming to all. We will definitely be back, and recommend Bulldog Bikes wholeheartedly.
This shop is awesome. They have a nice selection bikes and kayaks along with other items for other sports. The people working are always polite and helpful. Its definitely nice to have a spot like this in the area.
Bought a bike from them in September. The bike was great except would not go into 7th gear ( 7 speed ). They came and picked up the bike up. Brought it back to me and the cables were twisted up. I took it to them and them picked it up and it would go into all gears but never knew when it would actually shift. Took it back again and when I got it back it shifted hard and jumped a couple teath. Took it back and this time tried it in the parking lot. Shifted better but still jumped a tooth when shifted. I was told that is the way all the bikes shifted. I said if it jumps a tooth when shifted it will wear thetsprock. I was told to if I take it somewhere and pay to have it adjusted and shifts better, come back a tell them how they did it. If you can do your own work it is a great place to buy a bike. If you need them to work on it afterwards, good luck.
