Came for the caramel apples, but arrived at the store 15 minutes before closing, so I didnt have much time to look around. The caramel apple was pricey considering the size. The caramel was soft enough to bite into and wasnt hard. I liked the milk and dark chocolate turtles better.

Today was customer appreciation to celebrate thirty years and so all scoops were $1, small shakes were $2, and shakes were $3, but the ice cream was so good you should definitely be okay paying full price! The place smells so good too its impossible to walk in and not buy anything. Always a good stop. They also have like 30+ flavors and some are even sugar free

Such a cute establishment. I’m not sure if this is one business or several back to back. We expected just the creamery and bakery, but there was also a cider store, wine store, candy shop, and a restaurant. We only went to the bakery and creamery. My husband got a blackberry buckle bread and said it was delicious - minus the seeds. He is a baker and takes out seeds when he bakes. I got a loaf of white bread and it’s quite yummy! We also got a frozen coffee, but it was no where near frozen. I expected a shake like substance to it, and instead, it was as thin as milk. The guy behind the counter had to tell the girl how to make it, so she was still learning the ropes. There was an open restaurant at the far left side of the property, and there appeared to be another one right before it. The signage was awful. See pic. If I’m reading it correctly, it says open until 6:30 M-F. We were there at 5:30 on a Friday, and there wasn’t one person in there. Not even workers if they had closed a little early. I understand COVID has changed a lot of businesses, but communication is always appreciated. A note or better signage is easy to do.

Loved this place! Their ice cream is so fresh and absolutely delicious! Their home made apple cinnamon fudge walnut something or another ice cream was amazing and their baked goods are delicious as well. Great spot to take pictures and grab some treats!

The bread is amazing!! Wish wed been able to try it hot/fresh. And the ice cream is a delight. The key lime pie and apple pie flavors were super yum! Would love to try more flavors when we visit again.

Fun place to shop for gifts and baked goods and jams etc. Good food at therestaurant but you mave have to wait up to or over an hour for a seat. This location is very popular and can be ridiculously crowded.

Always a good time. Here is a tip: try the hard cider!! I dont normally drink alcohol or hard cider but OMG IT WAS SO GOOD. Try the hard cider slushy. You can buy it to take home and make and it is so easy and honestly tastes just like the samples. It takes 5 minutes to make at home.

If your looking for old fashioned homemade items like bread, muffins, made on site ice cream this is a good place to go!

Just went to this place. The sweet lady working had her mask below her nose and did not wear gloves. This means that when she was scooping the ice cream into the waffle bowls, she was holding the waffle bowl down with her bare fingers. In the midst of a global pandemic, I absolutely expect food service places to take basic precautions and not directly touch ready to eat food. I didn’t have the heart to tell my children they couldn’t eat the ice cream, so we just threw out the bowls even though I’m pretty sure her finger touched the ice cream too. Yuck.

Amazing little shop with awesome ice cream flavors! I tried the apple walnut fudge flavor, and it was delicious, Id recommend it to anyone. Its located in a cute little area just across the road from a river, so its very peaceful. Reasonably priced ice cream, along with baked goods, and very polite staff, I absolutely loved it!

Such a fun area with delicious food, wine, candy and souvenirs. Spent hours just browsing all the shops. Wine shop gives free samples. Clean restrooms and ample parking.

When we pulled in I expected this place to knock my socks off, I sampled 3 different ice cream flavors and each one had a nice light flavor. I expected big bold flavor. If you like a good ice cream thats not going to throw you off your horse then this is good eatin.

The wait wasn’t to bad and the food was GREAT.. The wait staff acted as though they enjoyed their jobs and were very friendly. The cost of the food on the menu does not reflect the amount of food that you get so don’t pass out looking at it..

By far, the BEST Sour Dough bread! We will be ordering on a regular basis. My husband and I visited their establishment last week and bought two loaves. Amazing flavor!!! Buy some.

I would give this place zero stars or negative stars if possible. Very nasty and unsanitary place. I am not sure how it passes health inspections. Will never visit this place again. As we sat at a table eating our ice cream, we observed an older gentleman walk over to the ice cream, get a spoon, open the freezer and get a bite of ice cream. That could be forgiven. However, he then reached in with the SAME SPOON that he had just had in his mouth, and got another bite. It was then observed that several people that were obviously known to the operators of the establishment, come into the store and then, without washing hands, they helped themselves to drinks, and also reached into the ice cream freezers taking bites of ice cream.I also want to add that this is not my first visit here. My family & I have a cabin in the area and we visit here several times during the year. I have never witnessed this before; however, seeing this happen with my own eyes this visit, I will not be back.

My wife and I were craving ice cream and we have been to Apple Valley Creamy. It is the best. My wife and I were staying in Townsend, 45 mins away. We checked Google, directions and hrs. We did a Google search and Google says hrs, you guys close at 8. We arrived at 740. Lights off and sign says closed!. Not happy and angry. The sign on the door says 7pm close. I checked again Google, 8pm. All the google info is right, but I just waisted 1 hr and 30 minutes of my time and gas to get ice cream.When I arrived I arrived back to Townsend, I check the official website... The hours dont match, you guys need to get your act together before you waste someone else time, energy and gas.Lesson, go to the exact website before you go.

The staff was nice, the facility was clean and well stocked. They didnt have REAL superman ice cream, only vanilla flavored, and their other flavors were a little bland. However, the black walnut was really good and their waffle cones were very tasty.

Total indulgence!The fresh made ice cream is very smooth and creamy. Not custard creamy, but more creamy than most ice cream you get elsewhere.Their desserts tastes fantastic and they dont skimp in the size.They have several no sugar added and low sugar options too.

Delicious....will be visiting again before heading back home. Found our new place to satisfy our sweet tooth.

Showed up 10 minutes before closing and they wouldn’t let us in. Sign on door said closes at 8pm. We were there at 7:50. Door was locked, people were still inside, but wouldn’t let us in. Made eye contact with employees and they completely acted as if we weren’t there. Totally ignored us. Kids were so disappointed. Off to 31 flavors with my business from now on.

Researched this place and decided to check it out. Walked up to the front just to see the employee locking the door as we approach the door (she saw us walking up). It was 6 pm and the sign on the door clearly says open until 7 pm. She offered no explaination just shook her head and said were closed. Never coming here again.

This place is a hidden gem tucked away off the road slightly. Its got sweets, treats, crafts, antiques, cooking, art, and beautiful scenery! Our kids loved it!
