I hired Granite of the Smokies to do two vanity tops in a commercial project. It was a very fast pace project and I was willing to pay a rush fee. I was quoted $400 however when I went back to pay in for final pricing the fee went up to 1000 they knew I was desperate for the tops. We paid it. When I went to sign the $3200 contract it was several pages of initialing. That shouldve given me a clue. They have a clause for everything that could go wrong on their end. Including you have to go pick it up personally over an hour and a half away. I received the tops and it was the wrong color. I am very familiar with granite there are variations in color all the time however, this was a different color, not shading different, not vaining different. It was totally different. I still had the two samples that we chose. I told them just buy me dinner for my wife and I, no worries. They had to argue over the whole situation I said what about the difference in the $600 price gouging. I guess Ive never heard of the customer always being right They argued and argued, not very professional. I will find another granite company to do our future work.
We have been looking for new countertops for 3 years and never found anything I wanted to spend money on till we went to Granite of the Smokies. We went with a farmhouse sink and Quartzite. It looks beautiful!!! Can’t thank Beverly and her crew enough!!! Thank you for making my kitchen dreams come true!
We had quartz countertops installed in our bathrooms by a different contractor. They were beautiful but we were never able to get the original folks to repair a small nick in one and a foot-and-a-half gouge in the other. Beverly sent Jason out to see if they could fix these and they had a crew come out today to complete the repair. In retrospect, we should have gone with them to begin with.
Best experience ever!We have shopped far and wide for just the right kitchen countertops, only to be disappointed every time. Finally, we stopped in at Granite of the Smokies, less than 5 miles from our home! From the moment we walked in until our countertop installation, Beverly was outstanding. Great customer service is hard to find, but wow, did she come through. Beverly handled my project with the same care and attention she would her own kitchen. In fact, everyone there is amazing. Jason installed a gorgeous vanity top for one of our bathrooms and even offered to repair etching on countertops purchased from a different company. Johnny and Matthew were absolutely terrific! All of these guys are excellent at their craft. It was such a delight to work with everyone at Granite of the Smokies and I could not be happier with my new countertops.
My neighbor was going to use this company and I had considered it as well. After hearing multiple individuals tell us that their contracts were misleading and they were charged extra fees as an attorney I did some digging on the owners. Jason Curtis Jones, the owners is a convicted felon. He served time in the federal penitentiary for drug trafficking. He also has multiple domestic assault charges against women spanning two decades. I do not feel like this is fitting of a business owner. This is who was to be our installer, coming into a home with women and children! Please think twice before allowing people into your home around your family. This info is public knowledge. Charges originated it Elizabethton, Carter County Tennessee. Federal charges were heard in Greeneville Tennessee. This should legally be disclosed by the company prior to having him enter a home.
If I could give them a minus 1 I would. Have an Attorney read the contract.Never recommend this company for anything!!
Granite Depot of The Smokies put all new granite in a house I flipped. They did a great job at a fair price. I highly recommend!
The granite was template wrong, had to take a large piece back because the cut sink out wrong then billed me 250 dollars more for a trip charge because they drove up to house and I had dirt delivered and they just left and I live next door to property where they were working employees were so tried when they did get back for second time it took them another 7 hours to finish Lady Mandy in office was nice until I paid then got very nasty all I will say is there are a lot of granite places around smokies ii had A large job and own several properties around town but don’t think I would go back again
