Awesome staff and awesome prices. First time coming here to check out some tools for an upcoming project. Everyone was very knowledgeable and the customer service was amazing! I will definitely be a repeat customer here.

Fast, friendly, and most importantly, knowledgeable staff. Easy pickup on several online items spread across a couple different orders. Fun place to browse around, lots of decent deals to be had depending on what you are looking for. Store is very clean and well organized. I shop at both this Direct Tool Outlet and the one down the road in Pigeon Forge, both great spots. Swing on in sometime, you may just be surprised what you end up finding that you cant live without!

Love to walk around to see if they have a tool that my husband doesnt have . This trip I found a sweeper it had the power but it would be great for a camper but not for want Iwant to use it for Was looking for a com pack sweeper for the car to pick up stones .Ill keep looking never know what you will find.

Same options in all of their stores. Lots of battery powered tools. Great if you want to start over with a new brand, but Im not ready to start over with my battery powered tools. Its best to stick with one brand.

Great selection. I got a couple tools here and realized one was mislabeled after I got back home (almost 5 hour trip.) Contacted them and David took care of it. Will definitely be back!

I would not purchase from here unless you live nearby. My drill failed the second time I used it (clutch). I live 3 hours away (bought the drill while we were vacationing) so there is no way I can return it to the store. Ryobi corporate will not cover shipping costs for me to send it off for repair. This drill is going to cost me far more than it is worth.

My go to place when in Pigeon Forge. Great deals on Ridgit tools. These tools are as good as any and have a great warranty.

Went in today on 14 December of 2020. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. I was asked to leave by a younger employee because I couldnt wear a mask due to a severe medical condition. I have been in this store hundreds of times and I can guarantee this will be the last time. This is the only place in pigeon forge or gatlinburg that has even hinted at making me have a mask. This is completely discriminate and especially to deny me with the medical condition that I have. I should have wore the mask, passed out and then Sued the store for my emergency room visit. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I usually stop here on every trip. Most of the time they have something that I need that is a great deal.

The employees working today helped me find everything that I needed. I witnessed a situation where the employees had to ask several people to wear a mask indoors and all Of them said no. They handled it very professionally and made me feel safe while I shopped the store

If youre a Ridgid or Ryobi tools fan, then it would be a good idea to stop in here. Everything is refurbished or factory blemished but discounted accordingly. Some items of Ridgid are LSA eligible and all come with some type of warranty.

Huge selection of reconditioned tools. Doesnt see exactly what I was looking for, but found a couple things I didnt realize I needed.

Soo very disappointed and disgusted by the treatment my husband endured at this location today. He owns and operates a construction/home improvement/lawn care business here locally and has spent thousands at this Direct Tools over the past year, in addition to sending plenty of business their way but after todays interaction he will never return nor recommend this business to others. My husband has a medical condition that prevents him from wearing a mask (along with a doctors letter verifying this) so to keep himself as well as others safe he maintains appropriate social distancing as well as avoiding public places during peak business hours. At the beginning of our local mask mandate he spoke with the manager at this location regarding his situation and was assured that it would not be an issue. Today he went to the store around 4:00pm and began shopping, there was only one other gentleman in the store at the time who was checking out. An employee approached him and asked if he had a mask, he stated that he did not and before he could even begin to explain she rudely and loudly demanded that he get out now when he attempted to respectfully explain that he had a medical condition and had already spoken with management in March about this she screamed for security like he was some common criminal. He did get her name before leaving which was Missy. I really hope that this employee is spoken to and that this disrespectful treatment to people with legitimate doctor verified medical conditions ends!

They have more ryobi than anything

Great deal on huge generator with a HONDA engine. This thing is regularly about a thousand dollars. The only thing I dont like about this place as much as I use to, is you could find good deals on single items. I still use small hand drill/screw gun i got dirt cheap. Came with long round battery. It was like 12.00. Another deal was on hart knives. They were 7.00. You dont see good stuff at awesome price like you use to. I keep going, hoping Ill see great deal again. I bought a Ryobi stud finder $13.16.

Went into Direct Tools & found exactly what I needed thanks to the 2 young men working when I got there, very clean environment & the employees working handled their mask mandate very professionally.

If I could rate as 0 star I would! I went in to buy something and as Sevierville has the mask mandate I went in without a mask for a reason I shouldn’t have to name and was questioned why I was wasn’t wearing a mask even though the rest of my family of seven were wearing one! I was told that if I couldn’t wear a mask I would have to leave! I told him I couldn’t wear one! He asked me why and I told him I didn’t have to answer that. He kicked us out of the store knowing we were the only people in the store at the time and the clerk himself was not wearing a mask until he was ready to say something to me! Very rude employee!

Poor business Im not allowing someone to come in a store because they dont have a facial mask but they have an electronic mess that works 10 times better than any facial mask. My last visit to this place.

You can find some great deals here, but somethings are cheaper on the website or at The Home Depot. I got a brad nailer for $50 and a 300 piece drill and driver set for $50 at the DTO. The PEX 18+ One tool was $185 in the store on Teaster. On the website its only $99.

Well I have an embarrassing story with them I brought my service animal in then I bought a $30 item put my service animal in the vehicle cousin little embarrassed when I try to buy $600 worth tools and my car gets to clients I have to go get cash I lose my keys more the story is the people there are great they took care of me I had to make a transaction of cash but they really did their job great understood the Customer

This is usually a place that I go on a regular basis but their new salesperson or manager whoever this gentleman is has got to be one of the most rude people I have ever experienced and Retail. On more than one occasion he was extremely nasty to both myself and other customers as I observed. For this reason I will no longer go to that location knowing now there are two other locations in the Pigeon Forge area.

I love this place and visit every time i am in the area. The only ryobi factory outlet i am aware of in the area. They have both new and refurbs. Great prices, sometimes half of what you might find at the depot.

Was not allowed to shop without a mask even though I showed them a doctors letter stating I had asthma and discriminating against me was a violation of the ADA. Will never set foot in one again.

This place meets all your tool and gadget needs without breaking the bank. I happened to stop in when they were taking an additional percentage from the already extremely marked down prices. I purchased a name brand steam mop for 8 bucks!

This place really had some good deals I thought it might be a tourist trap but they were actually some good bargains up to 50% off on some items.

Just left the outlet store after the clerk told me that a Rigid Palm Nailer was not $23.19 as stated on the sticker. Saying, that it was what the clearance price tag of $39.00. There were several other items with Yellow” tag prices. But he only removed the yellow tag from the tool that I questioned. After saying I didn’t want it, the clerk went over to remove the Special Yellow tag with the $23.19 price. Bait and Switch at its worst. Won’t ever shop there again.

Bought reconditioned Ryobi string trimmer here. It failed just after the 30-day return window closed. Asked at the store how to get service, they said contact the manufacturer. Went to the Ryobi website and sent them a detailed message. They never replied. So it went in the trash. I learned my lesson.
