Dropped off 2 pairs of boots one for repair and the other for cleaning. The lady told me that she would have to contact me once the owner got in later in the day to update me about the boots that needed repaired . A few days go by and I still have not heard anything . Called them to get an update and the man that answered the phone told me the lady had not I lunch and he would have her call me once she returned, I left my name and phone number yet again. The day had ended before I realized they still hadn’t called me back. 2 more days go by and I call back for the young lady who picked up the phone to tell me that they didn’t repair my shoes because they didn’t have a number to reach me on 😩. I go to pick my boots up and when I received the boots that were supposed to be cleaned it literally looks like they wiped them down. The lady tells me to smell them that they smell good . My boots still smell like the basement and they sprayed air freshener or something on them. Very disappointed in my experience. Definitely won’t be returning.

Worst experience ever. I dropped my coveralls off to get repaired and I was informed it would be a week for the leg zipper to be ordered and replaced. After two weeks I heard nothing so I called them and found out they had not been touched. I explained my concern and was ensured it would be replaced ASAP. Another week goes by and I have to call again, this time my coveralls we supposedly repaired. When I picked my coveralls up the zipper was not replaced and barely repaired, I explained my disappointment and took my coveralls to be repaired correctly elsewhere.

Theres a new owner, Carlos, in this shoe and leather repair. I was disappointed that the previous owner wasnt there any longer. I talked to Carlos for a while and he assured me that he would do a great job with the heels and soles repair of a favorite old pair of boots, including reinforcing the sides where the leather had started to crack from age and wear. He told me theyd be done within a few days. They were ready when he said and I tried them on before I paid to see if there was any change in comfort or feel. They looked and felt good. I did notice that evening that the heels were slightly separated from the soles near the arches on either side of the boots. I took them back in the morning to request further attention to this. Carlos wasnt there, but his assistant was and she fixed them immediately while I waited (about 5 minutes). She was great! Im happy with the results and hope theyll hold up for another year or two. Im rating a 4 because Id like to see how these new soles and heels hold up. Also, he only takes cash for payment, which can be a problem if you have more expensive repairs.

I took a pair of boots to this business to have a faulty zipper fixed. I was CONVINCED I would have to replace the entire zipper which would have been really expensive. I showed the boot to the lady (I hate I didnt get her name) and she told me I did not need to replace the entire zipper...she could make a minor adjustment and the problem would be solved. She could have easily charged me $35 or more...and I would have paid it. In the end, she fixed my boot for $3.00--while I waited!! She even took steps to make sure the small hole was not visible!! I am still in shock!!! Anywhere else would have grossly overcharged me!!!! I will take EVERYTHING I need repaired to Coventry Shoe and Leather Repair!!!!

Took my Louis Vuitton duffle bag in to get something stiched. I paid $8.56 when dropped it off. A week later I get a call thats its complete. I go to pick it up and the lady I dropped it off to is there. I look the bag over... Everything looks good and she advised me that I owe for the repair. I kindly advise her that I already paid.To make a long story short I PAID again and left. This place will try to scam you about payment. Consumer beware!!

Very bad workmanship. In addition, the attendant uncourteous demeanor couldnt be anything short of offensive to anyone let alone a paying customer.

I brought 2 pair of shoes, 1 was PRADA. The latter needed some glue as the insole of one shoe was starting to separate. Before deciding to leave those $700 shoes to repair, even for such simple job, like some glue in the insole, I asked if they feel confident in doing that job on such expensive shoes and they replied the know how to do it nicely.Went to picked them up and the repair has been made very poorly, with overflowing glue let dry out of the insole. Furthermore who handled the shoe, left glue marks all over the shoe that penetrated deep inside the both sides of the shoe. RUINED!!! Such a lowsy job!!! When I ask an esplanation about the glue, the lady talked back like she never repair a shoe in her life. She seemed not even to be aware that, the eccessive glue that sometimes comes out during repair, needs to be wiped off before it dries out... Are you for real??? They even asked me to pay the bill. I did and left for good. First and last time. Stay away from this lousy amateurish shoe repair shop.

I asked for the heel cups in my boots to be replaced because they are worn and dig into my heels. Not only did my boots take 4 days longer than expected, the heel cups were not replaced. A layer of leather was stitched over the inside of the heel, yet the old cups were still sticking out, causing the same painful digging. Very disappointed in the result.
